Pros +
- Friendly staff and great location.
- Caldera view!!!
- Great location, great breakfast and great room.
Cons -
- The WiFi did not work most of the time or didn't pick up
- The rooms needed to have hooks for hanging towels and other items . Also the shower area needs something to avoid water from shower getting everywhere. Slipped several times and had to use several towels to clean.
- I suggest to improve the breakfast with more variety.

Amazing location and view. So calm and peaceful.
I suggest to improve the breakfast with more variety.
Amazing view, perfect location, nice breakfast & property. Really enjoyed Ira Hotel & Spa.
Our stay was wonderful! A big thank you to the ladies at the front desk — they were incredibly attentive and helpful. They gave us great tips that really made a difference in our trip. The hotel is very close to Fira and offers an incredible view of the volcano.
Athena a very hard working Lady I liked her Service. Her Customer care Service is exceptional
liked everything except for the on and off power and water supply which i think is a General Problem.
Great view. Luxurious room and 15 minutes walk to Fira center
Location is the best to see the mesmerising scenic views of Santorini. Can’t forget the stunning views. Kind and helpful staff. Room is always cleaned everyday. Comfortable bed.
The room
I never had to write such a long review in booking but I really want to warn everyone -The worst management I have ever encountered. The manager will lie just to ‘save’ a few pennies, with no regard for guest experience or service quality. I have stayed in 2-star hotels with far better management. Unfortunately, this manager’s bad attitude and poor manners make your stay feel like a 2-star experience at best.Additionally, the hotel is extremely understaffed, again due to poor management decisions. It is clear that this manager is unfit to run this hotel—or any hospitality service for that matter.Simply put, the management is terrible and highly deceptive
Views. Staff. Size of room and facilities. Breakfast
Location not readily accessible with public transport.
Stunning location, beautiful rooms, great breakfast, and lovely, helpful staff!
Room was much bigger than we expected and had a nice style. Hotel was quiet but close enough to easily walk to restaurants and bars. Pool area had a lovely view.
No bar (had to wait for staff to be around to order drinks). Breakfast was just ok, could have been much better.
friendly staff and great location. close to restaurants and sightseeing
The view from our room and/or access to the balcony is the star of our stay. There is plenty of space in the pool lounge for us to enjoy. The location of our room provided privacy and accessibility. Breakfast is top notch and the hours are perfect for our stay. The staff are extremely helpful and accomodating.
The pool could be warmed up a little bit and access to the bubbles could have been communicated better. The music could use a variety. The hotel could have volunteered more information about the city, sights, restaurant locations, travel tips, transportation etc. to help first time tourists navigate the area.
We enjoyed our stay at the Ira hotel. The room was huge. There was a sitting area, bed area, an enormous shower area and separate sink and WC. Could have done cartwheels in the shower. The interior design was really lovely. The breakfast was quite good, served in a cave-style room. The pool was nice with an unobstructed view of the caldera. The hotel is in a quiet area about a 12 minute walk from the busy part of Fira. Be prepared for stairs. This is not a property for people with ambulatory disabilities, but then neither is most of the Cyclades.
Location and facilities are great. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
Short power and water cut outs were inconvenient (apparantly a Santorini general issue not specific to Ira) but not too major.
Great location and nice staff
The room was quite cramped around the bed, the steps going to the bed were too high. The room floors were always wet.The intimation regarding the airport to hotel transfer was unclear in that it did not say it had to be paid for so I as a customer was disappointed when I was asked to pay 50 euros. I found that the taxi I took to the airport was less.
The staff are incredible, from Evi on reception to the breakfast and pool supervisor, porter staff and kitchen staff- so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is everything you would expect for quality and attention to detail. Again nothing was too much trouble.
The cleaning lady seemed rushed and as though she didn’t have enough time to thoroughly clean the room. The rooms are beautiful but will get grubby if they aren’t maintained. The marble sinks show up stains from previous guests and coffee/tea grounds that must have been tipped down the sink by the previous guests were still in the corners of the sink. Such a shame as the quality of the rooms is lovely.
The room was very nicely designed. Wonderful caldera view. The staff was super kind. We liked the cozy quiet atmosphere. It seems like we were in a separate little village within the village.
