Located on the shores of Bras d’Or Lake on Cape Breton Island, this resort offers a waterfront boardwalk. The rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi. Cable TV and a coffee maker are included in each simply furnished guest room at Inverary Resort. A hairdryer and telephone are also provided. Standup paddle board, zodiaks and pontoon boats are available for rental at the Inverary Resort. - The property and ammenities were great.
- clean room. friendly desk staff.
- hotel is always consist. The staff are very friendly. The pub serves very good food too. You can always find sea glass on the beach too.
Cons -
- hot tub hours (wish until at least 11pm). sip and shuck in peak season wish were on every night as we missed during our midweek stay
- only because it was 'off season', restaurant options were limited. Not really the hotels fault, but it does impact the overall stay.

the grounds are very nice,the food is very good and the staff are fine
the rooms are disgusting for the amount that you pay.When we opened the door there was a very strong musty smell,like the room hadn't been aired out all year,so we opened the windows and went out,when we returned the room was full of gnats and flies
