Pools a bit shallow no deep end. Have to wear shoes in the rooftop bar.Feel like scuffs should of cut it.

the hotel facilities are exceptional - the pool and the gym are really amazing. the room is spacious and modern. the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. the hotel itself is beautiful; it has a very nice rooftop bar and an equally pleasant exclusive lounge on the top floor.

whilst the staff are so lovely, the service is frustratingly slow. even the smallest request, such as a glass of hot water at breakfast, takes an inordinately long time, more than 20 minutes. two poached eggs took almost half an hour and by the time they were eventually delivered, they were cold. we asked for a hotel car and explained that it should be immediate, that it was urgent, that we were at risk of missing an international flight. there was absolutely no sense of urgency at all, and 20 minutes later, we managed to get a taxi! still no hotel car - even though the receptionist told us variously that it was already at the main door waiting for us, then it was on its way up from the parking garage, then the driver was coming to the reception desk to collect the key, then once again it was on it's way up from the parking area. the breakfast is not up to par for a 5-star hotel, especially for Western guests. appalling selection of bread - just white sliced and poor quality offerings. similarly cheese - really cheap quality and poor selection. similarly cereals, just high sugar stuff like corn flakes, chocolate flakes, sugar-laden 'granola' - no healthy options. the local food was nice enough, although on occasion, it sat in the warming trays for too long. the room was clean enough, but not perfectly so - particularly around the edges of the shower floor, and the towels in the bathroom are way past their use-by date - they are no longer white, soft, luxurious - as they should be for a 5-star hotel.

The public spaces are always cold and smell nice, plus the warm greeting makes it even better

I like the warm lighting concept in the room, but if the ceiling cove lighting was brighter, the ambiance would feel more cozy and homey, rather than just romantic. ^_^

Valet Parking: Good valet service. Special thanks to Pak Bobby — he was exceptionally helpful and provided outstanding assistance throughout our stay.

Breakfast: Unfortunately, the breakfast was less exciting and did not meet our taste expectations. The food lacked flavor and could be improved.

A good location & warmest staffs

Room is not convinient & comfortable enough as 5 stars hotel under Hayat system, especialy the towers & bathroom not good quality

The room was very well-maintained.It was a non-smoking room but it smelled of cigarettes, so I told the hotel and they responded immediately to refresh the air.

The spa

The public area looks a bit worn out; especially breakfast area was very dimly lit and the choices of food were limited.

Really beautiful place and clean to stay .honest people , I was forgot my sunglasses they call me back and give me back ! Thank you Alila

The room with stunning view of Solo city. It was spacious and comfortable. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the pool was large and well-maintained. The breakfast had a great variety of options, and the taste was delicious.

Location is central on Slamet Riyadi Solo, close to everywhere, reception and staff are professional and provide a tourist places to visit, breakfast was plenty of foods and choices, our suite room also big and very comfortable with private pool in it.

We ordered two rooms and one of the room was very close to the next coffee shop where they set the music very loud at night! When I told that issue to the staff they just said to wait until 3 AM when it will stop. I could not sleep at night and I have a very important meeting tomorrow.

Alila Solo have complete and nice facility particularly the swimming pool and gym. We loved to spent time in the pool. The location also strategic, close to places we went to visit

I think the soundproof of the room, especially in the bathroom needs to be improve, as we can hear people in the next room chatting. Entrance sign nee to be a clearer one. Since, the hotel location is in the intersection, so cars, especially for the first time visitors know where is the entrance gate.

some items in the room, such as the magnet to hold the door, were damaged, so a technician was needed to repair them. the tap for the shower also doesn't work wellThe number of lift not sufficient enough if the hotel full.Kid club too small

Overall comfort room setup

The open shower room easy got water splashes. And no mini bar or even coffee and tea basic supplies.

As usual with Alila Hotels there’s an attention to details and design. In Solo, even if the room is slightly smaller than my previous stay in Alia SCBD, the modern design and details are still there. Love it
