Kura Kura Resort Gili Meno

Staff are Kura are very nice.Location is an easy easy walk to the harbour and the fast boat.The hotels cafe/restaurant is decent, clean, and we ate there a fair bit.Room and bathroom were both big and very quiet.

Just the pool. It is was shaded, and large, but just had a bit of an unclean vibe about it.Small bits of gunk... but it's not a big deal, as the hotel is right near beach and the snrokelling on Meno is amazing!

We loved the hospitality. The staff really took care of us. The food in their restaurant was also exceptionally good. Room was really spacious and nice.

The overall maintenance of the property wasn't the best. While they cleaned the pool daily, they didn't have an active filter running, and it'd get dirty very quickly, the spa didn't seem like running, power went off a few times (although came back quickly), once a fuse blew and only got fixed next day morning. All minor issues, but still took away from the experience

The staff are really friendly and make you feel so comfortable and relaxed. They accommodate all your requirements and do their best to strive a comfortable stay. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool as well as playing at the beach in front of the restaurant area. The sun rises right in front of the restaurant, making it a perfect location. It is only a 1 minute walk from the port which is also very convenient if you have luggage.Decent varieties of breakfast available.. live music in the evening, followed by karaoke night was amazing.

Only cold water in the shower and this was salty water the salt factor not fault of hotel but according to hotel signage due to no fresh water on the island except that which is barged in. Not much privacy, rooms open directly onto path around pool. Restaurant average and most of good restaurants were a good walk away.

Like so many hotel/resorts of its type in this part of the world one suspects that this hotel started life with very high aspirations but post Covid has settled into a less exclusive reality. The hotel is right by the pier and in a good location. It has no real reception at the front but opens into a nice, well-maintained pool area with some 10 rooms overlooking the pool. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large comfortable bed. The shower was good although (through an issue with the islands water authorities) there is only salt water. This is not the hotel’s fault and they provide fresh water to drink. Breakfast is really good and the staff are friendly. There are bicycles for rental and the island is small and quiet.

The WiFi is not great in the rooms but the WiFi in the bar area and the restaurant at the front is ok. The staff rooms must be past the pool area as it seemed there was a constant stream of people walking past our room throughout the day.

Room was lovely tea and coffee making a plus as was fridge.

Breakfast was average as there was not many quests the menu was limited..Love my Lombok coffee and to not have a pot and just a gritty cup of liquid was dreadful..

The location of Kura Kura resort is superb as it is right next to the beach. The staff were amazing, so friendly and professional. They were obviously proud to be working there. Lovely big rooms and comfortable beds. Restaurant had plenty of choice and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it.

Location near the harbour for ease of getting boat. On site restaurant was good value, very tasty food and ALL of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms airy and spacious, straight access to pool. Very clean, well presented rooms. My wife used the Spa treatment, very good value and ladies were kind and chatty.

We liked our stay! The resort is comfy and directly on the beach + super close to the pier which is perfect :)

Very quiet peaceful, beautiful room could walk out straight into pool. Cleaned every day. Staff so friendly and happy.

Lots of small touches that made this exceptional. Daily housekeeping, air freshener, big spray, fridge, massive filtered water jug in the room, so no need to go to reception for refils. Option to have meals delivered to your room. A service button in the pool area so you can order food and drinks in the pool. Some games and a library as well as a pool table. Beach towels provided as well as good linen and towels. The on site massage was wonderful, though we were only able to book in once. Eggs made to order with fresh fruit, Indo rice and noodles and sausages and bacon. Yes there's flies, you're in an open air location. There's lots of fans in the dining area and the view is lovely. Staff were very good at remembering what we liked to order, which made it personal. Easy to rent a bike. Great that it's directly at the harbour, so no need for a horse or to drag your luggage. The room is completely sealed, which meant we didn't notice the Call to Prayer from the mosque and it also meant the aircon we nice and cold. Meno is a very remote island compared to the neighbouring Gili Trawangan and Gili Air. This is a developing country and they're doing an amazing job of trying to meet western tourist expectations. Done expect a gourmet pizza or water that drains away instantly in the shower. Just enjoy the endless marine life and simple way of life. So many sea turtles. This was my second trip to Meno, I will be back.

The bed was extremely firm. We used the cushions from the day bed to help soften it. We were only able to book in for a massage once (which was really good). We we're really sure why they weren't available on other days, staff were unsure. We had a massage instead from a lovely lady at the beach.

I only intended to stay for 2 nights but extended my stay I loved it so much. It was clean, the pool area was amazing and it literally 1 minute from the port and Gili Meno Dive. Shop right outside and restaurants attached & next door, and a massage spa on site. The staff were lovely and so helpful.
