Tijili Hotel Benoa

Nice location, friendly staff, comfortable room, good room service, Overall nice vibe.

It is obvious that the last two years impacted the hotel. Everywhere are signs of struggle to get back to pre-COVID glory. The room was clean, but the whole sofa was covered with dirty stains. The wall paint in the room was peeling off in a few places.

We loved our room on the courtyard terrace and found the patio to be nice and private. The staff were all very friendly but in particular a young lady named Ayu. She was such a friendly, positive and intelligent young lady that made us feel so welcome. She is definitely an asset to your hotel and made our stay good. Your gardens were beautifully maintained and the Warung area were relaxing and perfect for lunch or a snack.

Unfortunately, we did not like the breakfast buffet as it was not up to our expectations as there was not enough selection for westerners such as cheese and mushrooms for omelettes. We ended up going next door every day to the BRR for their breakfast buffet as they had a better array of options.

Staff was very nice and helpfull but room i got was nighmare.Therewere heavy musty smell in the room.U can't stay inside more than 5 minutes,when we have complain to reception then they sent someone to check and they were agree,they changed the room but the new room also was same but less smelly.

Unfortunately all these good things were lost because of bad management, while a very big pool, there was inly one employee assigned to serve this area, facilities are not continuously maintained so it’s obvious that it is old, while it’s not international guests friendly at all, the breakfast is strictly containing asian and indian food, even the restaurant for lunch and dinner, we stayed five days, we had only one breakfast it was so bad, even though we paid for it, staff are kind but they aren’t enough to make the stay good.

The staff was very good and friendly, especially Ayu, who made our stay even more enjoyable. Hotel view and place was comfortable too.

The floor was always wet whenever we opened a window or the door. The beach near the hotel wasn’t very comfortable for swimming, so we had to go farther away from the hotel to find a beach where we could swim.

The location was next to the beach, which was nice. There are walkable sidewalks in the local area. The room was spacious and laid out nicely.

The tap water is not drinkable. When we asked for extra bottles of water, the staff hesitated even though we offered to pay for them. The shower was quite small, but worked fine.

Didn't stay

I mistakenly booked the wrong date for my hotel reservation. Upon arrival, the hotel staff informed me that they were unable to assist and advised me to contact Booking.com directly.Since then, I have reached out to both Booking.com and the hotel multiple times, but unfortunately, I have not received any response from the hotel regarding the cancellation of my booking.I understand this was a human error, and while I’m not necessarily expecting a full refund, I kindly request that the booking be canceled and that I be refunded the remaining amount after any applicable cancellation charges.I’m disappointed by the lack of support so far and would appreciate your help in resolving this matter

The room was clean and quite big. The location was easy to reach.

It’s a very comfortable beach front hotel. The sea view room is so perfect and satisfying as you wake up in the morning with the perfect nature scene in front of you.All the staff are warm, friendly and accommodating doing their utmost effort to make you stay at home and manage any problems that could unexpectedly come out doing our stay.Thank you all

Every thing was good,clean, and the best thing the hotel has access to the beach and the spa was so good they have chocolate massage and it was amazing … I really enjoyed my staying here i highly recommended ❤️

It was my first trip to Bali, and the hotel was so good in providing all the informations and guiding me through out, the staffs were very friendly n kind. I would take a moment to thank Ms.Febi from this hotel for making my trip memorable, would love to recommend this place for others. I'm definitely going again n staying here.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The food at the bar/restaurant at the beach was very good. The location of the hotel is great to reach many attractions by bike or car in short time like the GWK Cultural Park, the Bali Zoo, bird park and reptile park, the Turtle Conservation And Education Center and more. Lots of water sport activities available to book at the beach.

The WiFi in my room was not too good and unfortunately the bar at the rooftop pool was not open.

We had an amazing stay at Tijili Benoa. Staff were very accommodating for our family (1 adult and 3 children) and placed us close to our friends. The rooms were clean with daily servicing, comfortable beds, smart TV with Netflix comparability, absolutely stunning pools that we often had full use of by ourselves. The staff were very friendly at all times and helped us out with lots of photo ops. The location is excellent. Can wander along the beach for a beautiful coastal run. Excellent restaurants, spas, family friendly restaurants, mini supermarkets in walking distance. Staff help you cross the busy road.

The location is great, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The beach front warung is fantastic. Great food and prices. This property has good value for money. Rooms were cleaned well each day. There has been continuous improvement since I was last here in August 2024. There is still more to do but it’s a great value for money hotel in a good location. The staff work so hard all day every day. Everyone speaks and smiles and is so friendly.

It’s not that we didn’t like it but there is still some work to do. Our room didn’t have hot water it was more a warm. Breakfast does not cater to western guests, so as breakfast wasn’t included we preferred to spend the money down at the Area Coffee ( amazing) or the Kubu Garden has the best breakfast we have had. Our sheets were not changed during the stay and we were there for 13 nights. It would be great to have a few more beanbags or chairs around the pool. When crowed there was the lovely grass area that could have some spots to sit. The spa was a very strange experience, the team are so lovely and friendly but they continued to talk and chat during the treatment both to me and each other. It’s more expensive than going outside and then they asked for a tip for each of them. So not sure I would recommend doing that. Just head out to the street much more professional and cheaper.

Before I write this, I would like to say thank you for all kinds of the staff to take care about us on that 2 days. it was great experience stayed at tijili hotel benoa, very super and honest staff give us rank super high, the 2 days meal was very tasty, atmosphere of the hotel really comfortable.
