DoubleTree by Hilton Auckland Karaka

Everything was exceptional. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Beautifully decorated rooms. Breakfast buffet top drawer with a large selection choices. Never stayed at a Double Tree in the USA that held a candle to this one. Top marks.

Nothing negative.

Fantastic getaway with International hospitality standards outside of Auckland CBD. Breakkie spread was great, and had a blast running around Karaka, views were great.

Pillows were maybe just a tad soft

Make up room service was fina.

Toilet space was very narrow and NO Jet Spary for Toilet.

Great restaurant, nice quiet bar. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Not much not to like.

Fantastic property with ease of parking, amazing staff and great food. Views are magnificent also

Loved the outdoor pool Food was great & can accommodate gf with no fuss

Close to the airport, big parking lot for free. Very very comfortable bed and pillows. Really great breakfast, I recommend buying it.

It is not possible to open the window. Not very convenient when you are not a fan of air condition.

Room was clean, nice and comfortable. I did not eat at the restaurant. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed our time there. I found the theme (horse racing) unexpectedly charming. The personnel were very accomodating.

The only thing I will comment on is that carpeting in my room was starting to get tired looking. Other than that, the room was very nice.

Very new. Great staff. Great gym. Nice cocktails.

All round very good, good food, nice staff, good pricing

Na

Loved the smell on arrival at reception & around interior. So clean. Nice welcome on arrival. My son & I loved the pool which we used for recovery following a big day of football.

Really nice, new Hotel

Being forced to sign up for Hilton Rewards programme to get free wifi is a nonsense. Wifi is free everywhere.

Breakfast

The fact that they double charged me for breakfast even tho I paid with booking. Also my robe was dirty and stained..and i asked for a room with a bath and an extra large king bed and got a tiny room with a small bed and no bath

The facility was amazing, great interior design, easy to navigate, and well lit.

Not enough dedicated drop off zones near the entrance, had to park at the main door and quickly drive away.

The food was absolutely fantastic, both dinner and breakfast. The hotel felt brand new. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The staff were superb too.

The only small issue was the shower, which had very low pressure and took ages to run hot.

Very modern hotel with large rooms. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast.

Clean and location good just off motorway and where we wanted to visit this time.

Love the free cookies and staff was good and beautiful clean room and place to stay to
