Staff was awesome, and I'm not exaggerating. Wasa is a gem of a person and a great host. I wasn't expecting much from this place after some huge disappointments at other Thai hotels that were 4× more expensive than Orchid. Obviously it's not a luxury resort, but for a clean basic place to stay it is a 10 for us.100% would stay here next time I come to Patong.
There is no elevator. That's not an issue with me, but might be a problem for some people.The street is packed with so many people walking around at night that taxi can not get to the hotel, you may have to walk down the street to a pickup point if you want a cab at night. But that was not a problem for us, we loved the energy of the area, so I don't really consider that a negative.

I was 3 nights in this Orchid Residence. My Experience was awesome. The lady in the reception was so much energetic and helpful. Don’t feel hesitate to stay here.The location is near Bangla road. You will get everything near you, like restaurant, bar, weed shop, motor bike rental shop, and many more. I will definitely choose again for their hospitality. The bed was comfortable, the room and washroom was also spacious.

The location
We only like the short hair in the evening huz serving us and ms. Vhoon. I appreciate them at first though all needs to get paid no complimentary at all. Other staffs most especially the cashier isn’t even smiling or greeting. If you’re looking for a good service I don’t think this is a good place to start with.

Location is great, very close to most important sites in Patong. Staff are very friendly all the time. There is a great restaurant in ground floor. The room and bathroom are very clean and spacious. I will stay again for sure
I liked everything
Amazing location, very kind family who runs it, helps you book activities and gives you a discount. Just opposite bangla road, but quiet enough to sleep at night! Food is also cheap and incredible

Noisy at night. Mostly tuk tuks with very loud speakers passing by. They are simply “stupid” loud and they run all night. I don’t know how the authorities allow it. Pity because the hotel and staff were first rate.

The bed was very uncomfortable, and there was no elevator, so I had to walk up and down four flights of stairs several times a day.
