Beautiful location, helpful and friendly staff.

The place is located a few kilometres out of town in a heavily forested area so it is very quiet and peaceful. It has all the amenities needed to cook a meal in the outdoor kitchen. There was a screened area around the table at the outdoor kitchen so you could dine without being bothered by mosquitoes. The bed was very comfortable and the house tent we stayed in was clean. I loved this place.
The place is beautiful and very quiet, making it the perfect setting for our first glamping experience. The tent was extremely comfortable and added to the overall charm of our stay. What truly made it memorable, though, was the exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us. On our first night, it was quite cold, and the property manager kindly offered us an extra electric blanket for our child — a thoughtful gesture we really appreciated.

we loved the authenticity of the cabin and backyard feeling. the serenity of the fire, wildlife and nature!
some missing amenities like kitchen towels.
We really loved our stay at Cedar Haven. The cabins are so cute and we enjoyed our daily evening campfire. It is a really lovely quiet place in nature. The cabin had a little sign with our name on it, which made it really personal and gave us a little "at home" feeling.
Nothing to complain about
Review Cedar haven We stayed in the one bed cabin as we were upgraded and we loved it. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, great coffee and awesome toiletries. We also made use of the sauna after a day of hiking and that was terrific too. A lovely setting, tranquil and relaxing.
Loved the yards, wild flowers, picnic tables, chairs by front doors. Cabins were comfy and very clean.
It's hard to write positives with such basic accommodation. The 'Resort' offers cabins and tents - we stayed in the cabin so we can't comment on the tents.
The cabins are very 'rustic' with a small, cramped bathroom and 'kitchen'. It's rather out of the way and about 10 mins drive from the Clearwater town. The description says 'Resort', but this is not a resort. It does have a sauna which we didn't use. This place had a 9.4 rating on Booking.com with lots of glowing reviews. Maybe those people liked the tent accommodation, but there is no way that the cabins are anywhere near a 9.4 rating. We had the unfortunate experience where the whole place ran out of tank water - this was probably an unlucky one-off experience. After a load of water was delivered on day 2, we had muddy brown water coming through for the rest of the stay. The owners did provide us with bottled drinking water.I've held off writing this review because I don't like being too negative about accommodation. We stayed at Kelowna after this at a wonderful B&B which included a fantastic breakfast at a significantly less cost. The contrast could not be more apparent. If you are reading this, be warned that the cabins are NOT exceptional, other than being exceptionally underwhelming.
Beautiful natural garden setting in the woods, quiet location close to town and Wells Gray Park. Good outside cooking facilities and seating, A/C was unexpected and really needed for sleeping
I think the listing suggests a TV in each chalet - ours didn’t have one. No problem for us but some might want to check in advance
Gorgeous place in a very secluded spot but only about 10 mins away from Clearwater (supermarket, restaurants etc). The cabins are absolutely lovely, squeaky clean and done up with a lot of care and attention to detail, as are the outdoor areas (lots of seating, fireplace etc). Oh, and they have the most comfortable beds ever! Tents looked very cosy too. We didn't use the sauna but it looked very inviting.
Excellent locationFast check in Friendly staffBeautiful cabin
Hard bed
Lovely quiet locationBeautiful cabinWell equippedGreat base for exploring Good value for money
great location, nice house, very good beds! Kitchen a bit small but sufficient. Nice garden with campfire and fireplaces. Great stay!!
Everything just Wonderfull
Great cabins in a natural setting for Wells Grey National Park
Location was close enough to town that you could easily get to restaurants and a grocery store, but far enough away that it felt like a quiet and remote location. Our tent was very comfortable, bed was amazing and the heated blanket saved us during the chilly evenings. The sauna was a highlight! The grounds/gardens were beautiful. Lots of attention to detail that made the location feel very homey.
There were a few problems with the bbq the first few times we used it but it was fixed by the time we left. Not a lot of space for prep in the kitchen, especially if the table is occupied and there could be more storage for food in the kitchen area (because bears!)
Very cute cabin with all amenities required for a comfortable stay (incl. sauna, fire pit and bbq). Staff was also very friendly
It is slightly remote which also can be experienced as an advantage
Cabin had ac and mosquito screens and was very cleaned (which is not always the case in camping cabins. Bathroom amenities were complete.
We were with three persons so had to use the folding bed in the couch which is always a bit of a hassle.
Very comfortable, peaceful, helpful staff and we didn’t feel too wheezed in with other guests, you barely knew they were there. We were given lots of tips about where to visit which was great.
I can’t really think of much we didn’t like - it was great and very well maintained.
