No air conditioning. Not working and was told there was a fan. Not good. Mosquitoes were terrible

Location was beautiful with a lake view. Price was very reasonable.

Air freshener was used on bed cover to mask the body odor of a previous guest. Coffee and a coffee maker was provided but there were no filters.

The hotel was right beside Dutch Lake which is very pretty.

The room was disgusting. It was an end unit of 3 little rooms that was advertised as having a garden view. The garden turned out to be a gravel parking lot.

Very,very basic in terms of premises: room is part of a "renovated" older trailer...and very small. I must say that a parts of the hotel was occupied by RVs and it is close to a little beach,so some people might appreciate that, and that is pet friendl

Bathroom was ancient. The A/C vibrated so loudly it felt like a jet plane was taking off when it started up.

Having the lake close by was nice, super quiet place. The bed was really comfortable.

No smart t.v.

We really liked the quiet, off the main road location. We felt like we were in a cabin in the woods. The room was clean and attractive.

What could have been better was not the properties fault. We arrived in the snow and dark on short notice. It was a bit difficult to see where to park.

The bathroom was the only nice room. It was clean and probably the most remodelled room.

The room needs some major repairing. There was poorly fixed holes in the walls. The kitchen has mismatched dishes and hard old creamer. Terrible coffee! The snow was not shovelled to our room and it was about 2 feet deep.

Right beside lake, quiet area. Was recommended to eat at Painted Turtle restaurant nearby- great food and service. Older place, but kept up very well. Beds comfortable and room was good size.

It was very well kept! While the rooms are more rustic, I actually prefer it over a stuffy new hotel room. I love the peacefulness at the property and the surrounding area right near the water. I enjoy spending time with their black cats Waylon & Jasper! They were the highlight of my entire trip! Plus I love our front porch with a Adirondack chairs!

If I had to say anything I would say I didn’t find the room as warm as I would have wanted. But it was still manageable.

Having a duvet would help so that we wouldn’t have had to turn the heat up which made the room too warm. There didn’t seem to be a « sweet «  spot with the electric baseboard heater.

Spiders in bedrooms, facilities were a bit run down

we liked that it was right on the beach and close to the park in Clearwater. Also, we appreciated that it was pet friendly and the staff were helpful.

Great location next to Dutch lake beach with a dock and playground

The property is run down with a very small space, the place is out dated with old mix matched furniture, chipped counters, dishes with a lot of dead insects in the window sills and under the bed.

The location is perfect, right on Dutch lake. They have their own little dock and motel is right beside the public sandy beach and bigger dock. We rented kayaks and went all the way around the lake. The lake is really warm and clean. The rooms were cozy and it was nice to have the kitchen. Grocery store and a few restaurants are also only a few minutes away. Short drive into Wells Grey park. About 45 mins from the Helmcken waterfall which was well worth the drive. Lots of smaller waterfalls and hikes closer.

You cannot beat the location of this place! It is located directly beside Dutch Lake, which has a great swimming, paddle boarding, fishing and all other water activities area with a beautiful beach area. The facilities have been clean every time my family and I have stayed here. I sleep very well on the beds and many of the suites have separate bedrooms and couches or futons that turn into beds for bigger families. Some suites have kitchenettes which is so handy for people that don’t want to spend a bunch of money eating out. Also, some suites have air conditioned units, so if you’re like me and like to be cool while you sleep, I recommend these. I’ve only ever met the one lady and man that I think may own or manage this place and they are always kind and helpful. My family are big coffee drinkers and they supplied us with enough for 7 people from Thursday until Monday which we truly appreciated. My family and I stayed here last year for a long weekend and we just stayed this year for August long and we’ve decided to make it a yearly family tradition as we enjoy this place so much. We drive 8 hours yearly now just to stay here and enjoy this cozy hotel on the lake! I recommend checking this place out if you enjoy a cozy, affordable spot right on a stunning lake!
