It reminded me of The Bates Hotel in Psycho Beds were comfortable

It doesn't overlook anything $20 additional charge for my small dog. Dirty linoleum floors and failing tiles in the shower Wish I'd just kept driving to Jasper

Good place to stay - I forgot my earrings but the custodian phoned us before we had gone too far so we went back to pick them up. That doesn't happen very often!!

It was quiet.

Cleanliness - the floor was dirty, the bathroom had what looked to be mold around the tub. Needs improvement.

I liked the location and the fire pits and bbqs around

It was pretty dirty, there was old recycling under the sink, multiple webs with spiders, dust bunnies and it felt dingy. we had noisy neighbours that were outside super late and up super early in the morning. They’d sit at the picnic tables but it was right outside our window, we got woken up quite a few times. We’d come back from a wedding before 11pm and had expected there to be quiet hours, I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to kill anyone’s fun but it was getting really annoying. My boyfriend was sick so we were just trying to get him to fall asleep and they didn’t stop until well past midnight. I thought I’d get reprieve in the morning but it started right back up again. Like to the point I finally got up and shut the window hard after over an hour of loud chatter before 7 am

The location is very pretty. They are trying to give it a cottage feel. It was easy to get into the room with my wheelchair.

It was an incredibly dark room. No airconditioning and windows that didn’t allow any air flow. The fan in the room was filthy. The bed was very soft and extremely creaky.

Owner is a super chill fellow, made use feel welcomed and safe. The place is definitely self built, but done thoughtfully, and the additions to make it feel more comfortable were noted (nicer shampoo, a fan, the entire kitcehnet). Room was comfortable and private, with a full kitchen (although missing cutlery?) and a quiet and relatively central location.

Just missing some cutlery, and, the previous guests had jacked the heat to 30c so the place was extremely hot when we first arrived

We loved our stay here. Clans , great amenities and quiet. Lots of hot water. It was just so relaxed. I prepared a meal in the kitchen. We slept well. Great shower.

Although it’s an older motel the unit was immaculately clean. The kitchenette was very helpful for our family. Very quiet location.

There were extremely limited numbers of plates and utensils pots and pans. No bowl to mix anything in.

The owner was friendly and organized. The room was clean.

I thought that I had booked a cabin through Booking. On arrival I found that I only had a room with a kitchenette. Only stayed one night so was not an issue, but disappointing. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Odours from the trash bin located near the room were quite noticable.

The staff was friendly! It was convenient to have the kitchen and I had a great sleep! This is conveniently located if you are exploring the Wells Gray Provincial Park!!

Rustic, low traffic area.

Bathroom grout could be cleaner. Rain on tin roof very noisy. Minor leak along logs wall in kitchen outer wall area.

Good location near the river and far enough away from highway noise. Well equipped kitchenette.

Some areas a little too rustic, floors dirty and slanted. Tiny shower. No AC. Beds very squeaky.

The kitchen was good with lots of appliances etc, accommodated my late arrival(12am), did not charge me for dog

Beautiful trees, everything was tidy and simple. Very rustic cabin and great for the price.Coffee and kitchen were stocked and wonderful to have, ample fans despite the heat, even with windows open at night the heat stayed in the cabin. We imagine it’s fantastic during the winter.

Cabin was cleaned with care, and all bedding/linens and kitchen items were fresh and clean. But the floors were sticky and overdue for a thorough mop. The living room futon was not very comfortable, a little tricky with a family of four, the cabins were more suited for two people max in our opinions.

The area is very quiet. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had what was needed to cook meals. Colin, the manager, was friendly and helpful.

It was quiet and close to town, river and hospital. The little kitchen had everything we needed and was comfortable. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and cute.

Bed sheets kept coming off the bed.

Ad pics did not represent property, floors were loose and sticking up, bathroom was very cramped, no lampd to read by in the sittimg area, TV was tiny, high on the wall and gar grom the seating area, walls were psper tjin and you could hear conversation from the next room clrarly

Colin the owner could not have been more helpful, we arrived very tired, he helped us to our cabin which was very cosy and very quiet, the facilities were excellent, I would definitely recommend staying there.

Do not stay here. Awful!

Receptionist smelt of marijuana when I arrived. Dead flies in room. Cobwebs. Dirty. Hair in shower. We immediately left and booked in somewhere else.
