Cons -
- Way to the room from outside.Sewage smell.Loud bang every morning from some business around.Staff very young and unprepared.Breakfast very basic.
- The breakfast needs improvement. Also some details at the bathroom needs attention
- I dont think any of the things I mention here are things that we didn't like, but rather good things to know as I was travelling with my 67 year old mum. Good things to know: The water at petri suits is salty water. So after a shower, ensure you lather on some body cream (which is provided). The location from the hotel to the main restaurants/beach walking is a good 10- 60 mins long, depending on how far you go up the beach, of course. We opted to get a fun train. There is a bus stop close by. However, that bus only passes there 4 or 5 times a day. From the airport we took two buses, one to Thira and then one to Perivolos and then a 17 mins walk. Petri Suits do offer transfers, so we did take that on our return to the airport. This is recommended. You will need a car if you want to explore Santorini. Thira, Oia and other places as transportation there is few and taxis are expensive. Kittens: When we arrived, there were approximately 7 adorable, friendly, and playful kittens. But if you are allergic or simply don't like them, this could be an issue. One day, they were not around, and we missed them.

Great location, beautiful rooms, the cleaning was perfect, clean rooms everyday.Kudos to the girl that was cleaning the rooms, very professional

We had a lovely welcome from Manos, who was on sight and ready to help with anything we needed. He was super friendly and very professional. Petri Suits was very clean and well organised, which was great. The sun lounges were fantastic, some in the shade and others in the sun. The room itself (6) was clean, well put together, and modern decor, and we had robes and slippers waiting for us on arrival. We had a super king bed and a slightly larger single bed, which was perfect. Both mattesses were very comfortable and pillows too. We had room cleaning service every day, which was great too. A free bottle of water for the first day and tea and coffee F.O.C for the rest of our stay. There is a mini bar stocked with other bits and a menu to inform the prices. The shower has a rain shower head and a hand-held shower hose and head, which is great. There were bottles of complimentary body wash and body cream. The location is very close to a mini supermarket and a bus stop. A fun train passes right outside the hotel, which you can wave down, and it takes you up and down all along the beach front. It's great, plays a bit of music, and you choose where to get on/off. This is very handy and only 8€ each. It's super easy to hire a car from Petri suits, too. We decided to hire a car for 24 hrs, and Manos helped us, and within a few hours, we had our ride. Breakfast was delicious. I can see they try to cater to everyone. Tea/ coffee, orange juice, and grapefruit juice are always available. Foods changed every day, but always available were eggs and mini croissants, sliced breads, as well as a selection of pastries and delicious Greek food.

The staff was nice at the wellcome moment.
the location is between the main road and other construction sites or empty fields, about 15 minutes walking from beach in plain sun. No nice view and the pictures of the hotel are overrated. The price is way too high on booking.com compared with the reception price or with other hotels even in Oia. The value for money is very poor. The rooms are nice, but not luxury, as presented, and the pool area is very small and in front of the reception area, with no privacy. Slow answer from management if you want to communicate. The staff also mess up our boat reservations: from a private boat with romantic dinner for our anniversary, we woke up in a boat with another 30 people. We do not recommend the hotel.
The property was pristinely clean with daily housekeeping. We were greeted with robes and slippers and our luggage was carried from the gate to our villa. The staff are so friendly and patient and informative.
I am not a cat person and that is the only thing i was not happy about but they are part of the Greek culture.
What a little gem of an hotel! We were so lucky to have discovered it and enjoyed a total of 5 nights during our stay in Santorini. Close enough to walk to the beach, with a mini-market close by, the rooms are large and airy (we stayed in two different rooms as needed 2 extra nights to our original booking ... one with a private jacuzzi on the balcony and one regular room with balcony - both had sea views). The mini bar is stocked with drinks but has enough room to put a few of your own items in! The staff are fantastic - very friendly helpful and reception is 24hr! The pool isn't huge but big enough to swim in, float around on or just refresh from the heat. Sunbeds and room beds all extremely comfortable and there's even a hammock to chill out on! We also had a private sunbathing mattress next to our hot tub, which was lovely when the wind was strong as it protected us from being blown around!! We ordered salads by the pool at lunch time, which were good value & delicious and Aldi (who works in the bar) is always around to make refreshments and deliver them to you :-). They have resident kittens which are hilarious and love chasing the bougainvillea flowers around. Lovely to see cats which are treated well but don't encroach on your holiday! We enjoyed the fact that most other guest seemed to be from Italy & France etc, as we like to hear different languages when we are away. Everywhere is kept very clean and you can even flush paper down the toilets here - fantastic; never knew it would feel like such a luxury (lol). If you have a car it's easy to get everywhere and you can park right outside the hotel. If not, you can walk to the beach where there are loads of restaurants and bars and get a taxi to the harbour and other restaurants etc. There really isn't anything not to like about this little hotel and we would definitely go back if we return to the island.
The shower and tap water is slightly salty which didn't agree with my daughter's sensitive skin (rather drying) and we would have loved to have 'blended ice' in our cocktails!! There are two rooms with hot tubs on the balcony which resemble fish tanks and anyone at the pool can see you in the tub .... not important for us really, but if you are going on your honeymoon, it's worth mentioning that you want a PRIVATE hot tub ... not room 11 or 12!! :-)
Have already left a detailed review but suffice to say this is a great little hotel which is close to the beach where there are restaurants, water sports & bars etc. It's quiet and not overcrowded at the hotel, but you can find a lot of people at the beach area if you want a bit more 'life'. The hotel pool is quite adequate and they have a plunge pool right next to it. Water temp of the pool is perfect - we stayed at a more expensive hotel for our last night and although there were a few 'luxury' differences, the expensive hotel's pool was a little too cold & would have benefitted from having the 'edge' taken off the chill!
Not much not to like - maybe the salty shower and tap water but you can't have it all!!
- beautiful and chilled pool area with nice loungers, bar and great music- 24-hour reception- well-equipped rooms with powerful showers- private parking- Perivolos beach just 5 minutes by car- lots of posh restaurants nearby if that's your thing- cats and kittens on the property
- Limited breakfast choices, would love more vegetables & healthy choices- Car needed to get around
Tranquil. Not noisy. Very friendly and helpful staff.
There was nothing to not like except maybe the need to taxi to other locations, one could always catch the bus close by but the bus schedule was a bit unreliable to Perivolos.
I loved the peaceful locality and small capacity of the establishment-the perfect place to stay if you are looking for quiet and peace,no loud music and parties nearby in the evening. Yet, restaurants and bars on the beach are aprox 7minute walk from the hotel. The room was amazing - spacious, bed comfy, bathroom beautiful. but the true highlight of the hotel was the staff - so friendly, proactive and professional -they treated us like family. at the hotel was also kittens who made sure we have no spiders outside the room- super cute plus :)
we were little dissapointed with the breakfast. it would be nice to have an actual coffee machine, fresh vegetables and more options to choose from.
The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and they have supportive and helpful staff. The pool area is a big plus.A lot of good restaurants on the beach, 7-10 min away from the hotel.
The location - the road to the beach is short, but you need to walk on the street and watch out for cars, there is no sidewalk,no shade and no street illumination during the night. In addition, the surrounding area looks like deserted.
Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good. Location is close to restaurants, bars and mini-market. The walk to the bus is convenient.
Room loft upstairs ceiling measurements should be part of the room description. Kids can sleep there as ceiling is low.
Everything was super Exactly like the pics and much way more nicer , the staff were allllll sooooooo friendly & helpful , the food was great, and the bar drinks were amazing too ! I had a small pool at my balcony which was so chilling and I loved it ! This would definitely be my stay the next time I come ? Bought me a Cap from the reception lobby shop and its super lovely ? Santorini You Made my Vacation Top Rated & I loved Greece Because of You ?? And Many Thanks to All the Staff For Being So Great Too !
Nothing ! I’m im Love With That Place ! I wish I could live there Forever ?
Excellent hotel. Very clean, boutique, modern rooms. Staff were fantastic. Out of the way of how hectic Oia can be, with the beach and fantastic beach bars a short walk away. Having said that, so easy to get to Oia and explore there (we rented a car). Good breakfast included and excellent pool area.
The location was fantastic easy reach of the beach The layout of the complex including the pool The great breakfast The vast horizon view
There were some maintenance issues here and there which the staff tried their best to rectify The room we booked didn’t really didn’t reflect the cost of it when the other rooms we booked for the family were cheaper but of equal quality The price difference between the mini bar and the pool bar ?.We were moved to a different room because things didn’t work in the first room
Clean, great location, very helpful staff, lovely pool area
Executive hot tubs need updating
Beautiful hotel Excellent personnel Delightful breakfast Modern boutique style Very well located
We had an unforgettable stay in our lovely suite! It was very luxurious. Extra spacious and modern with comfortable bed. The pool area was offering great sea views. Breakfast was great and everyone there was so helpful and friendly. We ordered a few cocktails and food which were great and the delivery quick.
