Riviera Sayulita Hotel

Extremely clean. Great Front Desk help. The pool was absolutely amazing to have literally steps outside our door. Highly recommend this hotel and the location only a short ten minute walk to the center of town. FD was great!

A little remote from town but not too bad.

We enjoyed the property a lot. It was big, clean, and in a great location. The staff, especially Emma, was awesome and helpful.

We didn’t like the keys to the door which were very hard to use. The sink in the bathroom didn’t flow well. The door to the bathroom needed oil. The kitchen could use a kettle for tea.

The hotel was great and updated. It is directly adjacent to the bus transit center, providing easy access to Puerto Vallarta and smaller towns. The AC worked great, and the room was very clean. It is on the edge of town, but it was nice for the quiet nighttime break. The main square is a 5-minute walk, and the beach is about a 7-10-minute walk. They have golf carts available for rent, which I would recommend for exploring the town for the day. The same building houses a coffee shop and a pizza joint. We were a family of 5, and the large room with multiple beds worked great. It's a small surf town in Mexico, so just embrace the slow pace and lack of quick/full amenities at certain locations in the town. The food, people and atmosphere are what make it great. We booked a fishing boat with Chilo on the Azul. Had a great time and caught a large number of fish. Eat everything in town for quick, easy tacos. Grab Tacos Diaz, Mary's or Ivan. Breakfast options were all over, and the churros down the street from the hotel were the go-to for my kids on the way back at night. If you go from Sept-Jan, they have nightly releases of baby turtles at the north end of the beach at sunset. We liked the main beach but preferred taking a golf cart over to Muertos beach for a quieter time away from the crowds. Would absolutely suggest this hotel if you have a family and want to stay away from the rush of the main square.

My only negative would be the lack of places to hang anything (towels, bathing suits, etc). It wasn't a big deal, but I would suggest adding a couple of hooks to dry items after being at the beach.

The rooms were spacious. The staff was mostly friendly, and the location was walkable.

The room has had no soundproofing, we could hear noise from the pool, from the neighboring rooms, from loud parties outside until 2 am, roosters early in the morning dogs barking all night over all the rooms left much to be desired.

Very clean, great air conditioning, very comfortable beds, friendly staff.

If we could have stayed longer

The room as are spacious, and the pool was perfect for our toddler. The staff, especially the cleaning staff, were really nice!

It’s a fairly long walk to the beach, but convenient for the bus.

Staff were extremely responsive. Good location. Close enough, but not too congested.

We had to request toilet paper. The shampoo was not sufficient. There was only luke warm water in the bathroom on some days. The room door lock was difficult to work and not properly installed.

just far enough out of the core area so wasn't very noisy. Rooms were a good size, bathrooms a bit small. Friendly staff. Gold cart rentals available through the hotel. Very nice pool and pool decks.

The cleaning staff were way too loud through out the day, especially in the morning. Yelling at each other from different floors. Made enjoying sitting around the pool to relax hard to do at times.

The hotel was so clean and the room was spacious. Loved having a full size fridge. Water refill station on each floor. The beds and pillows were really comfy. Easy to walk everywhere from there.

Cleanliness and location are perfect, beds are comfortable, friendly staff, heated pool. Family loved it

Location near to the town centre but right next to the bus station which luckily operated during day light hours only.The staff were always keeping the place clean.

The room was supposed to be a junior suite but did not have a lounge area with comfortable seats to watch the TV.The noise of the buses was quite irritating if you were in the small garden at the back of the hotel sunbathing. Rather than plants , a wall between the property would reduce the noise.

Loved being away from the noise of downtown! Super comfortable bed and kind staff.

Location was good but not amazing. Felt a little bit far, however Sayulita is very small. and within minutes we were in town. Is not a complaint is just an observation

Just I think they should take more care in dusting and cleaning the items in the bathroom. And to be certain to put all the towels and all what is needed.

Cleanliness. Got there and there was hair on the shower wall. It also smelled like mildew in the bathroom

On the main road, easy walk to town and the beach. Close to good shops and markets. Great little kitchen to make breakfast. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.

It was a bit overpriced for the amenities.Room is good for sleeping, but not as much for working (no outlet near the table your laptop). Shower wasn’t very hot.
