The hotel is a bit too pricy compared to others (with the addition of on site prices) but in most cases it is worth it beacuse it is really good hotel and good products

Could put coffee and tea in room

We found this place just by looking around on a map. I had no idea how amazing it would be. I was blown away by the entire hotel. The views from the lawn never got old. The decor in the hotel was beautiful. The thermal pools were incredibly relaxing.My favorite area had to be Bar Verde with the record player. A very nice touch.More than anything, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. A birthday I will never forget.

Wonderful old world hotel. Fantastic breakfast, great spa with thermal pools. Great bar with record player and extensive record collection available to guests. Lovely friendly staff. Exceptional location in the heart of Val d'Orcia. Lovely bedroom with spectacular views.

Hotel Posta Marcucci it's an amazing hotel, where every detail it’s extremely curated, from the bathroom to the bedroom, the entrance, the hall, the dining room, the breakfast, the bar, and the gorgeous spa: you are really treated as a prince and you feel out of time. That venue creates addiction for sure...

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Posta Marcucci. Thermal pools with a gorgeous view were perfect for relaxing (we even had a view of a village on top of the hill from our room); staff are friendly and helpful; breakfast with a good variety was delicious.

We booked through Booking.com and so missed out on having dinner included. At that price one expected dinner.

The facilities were gorgeous, historic yet renovated with modern conveniences. Our room was very large with a desk that made it easy for hair styling and makeup. (Tip: Don't get a pool-view room; those are smaller. Get the larger room for less €, and go outdoors for the view.)A mini fridge fit water bottles, and staff brought more directly to the room as needed. Robes and shoes were provided for both the room and for spa use. Our room doors and walls provided incredible sound-proof privacy. The free breakfast was abundant with pastries, yogurts, fruits, cheeses, and more. The thermal spas, saunas, and series of spa rooms along with "summer water" flavored with herbs and lemons provided the ultimate pampering experience. I loved relaxing in the sun on the cushioned recliners with the surreal panoramic view of vineyards, olive trees, and castles in the distance. The property was calm, quiet, and very peaceful, with morning doves wooing throughout the day. There were maybe 10-12 other couples at the outdoor spa while we were there; yet I think we all felt like we had the place to ourselves. I overheard staff speaking fluent Italian, English, Dutch, and French -- the diversity was heavenly!Views in every direction were stunning. Val d'Orcia was a few minutes drive away with iconic scenes from paintings and movies like Gladiator and Under the Tuscan Sun. For my spouse and I, this area is the most beautiful place on earth!Numerous restaurants were in walking distance in a loop for the tiny town of Bagno Vignoni. Nearby Pienza has an abundance of more dining options and views as well.

It was 95F (35C) crazy hot, and the only spa experiences involved heat, with water as hot or hotter than the air. I feared getting heat exhaustion, so I didn't partake in as many spa activities as I wanted.I would have liked an ice bath or "cool" pool/shower option to help normalize body temperature, especially with new research that ice baths have health benefits. Water cost $2/bottle, which seemed contradictory to encouraging more facility use on hot days. We spent $44 on water over our 3 night stay. It would be nice if water was included for hotel guests.

Very friendly and helpful staff

The smell in the room is too strong, some things need repair or replacement (in the bathroom). In general, the hotel is designed for elderly people

Very responsive, effective and friendly staff. Very comfortable well equipped spacious rooms (superior doubles). Very good breakfasts. Only had dinner one night but food was tasty.
