    • Great beach locataion, good facilitiesDelicious breakfasts
    • Everything about this spacious, elegant and tranquil resort is large! Dinarobin Beachcomber and its adjacent sister resort Paradis Beachcomber are spread over 5 kms of secluded beachfront; and we could use both - which was fantastic! We booked and were given 2 beautiful sea-facing junior suites, with large balconies. We also had a large semi-private pool, shared with about 10 suites in that block. There are several such pools for each block, so you never feel crowded. There are 7 restaurants between the Dinarobin and Paradis, apart from the buffet restaurants. You need to make dinner reservations before 5pm on the day though, plus there is a dress code for men in the night - trousers + covered shoes. We had an excellent Japanese meal the first night and after-dinner drinks at the sprawling and beautiful main bar with a nice live band playing. We'd driven down from Grand Baie that afternoon, with a tour at the Chamarel Rhumerie enroute and were tired. So this was a perfectly relaxed end to a lovely day.The Dinarobin breakfast buffet is sumptuous and a great way to start the day. Rainy weather made us cancel our dolphin-watching & snorkeling trip the second day, so we enjoyed the hotel spa, indoor sports and relaxed on the beach. That day was my wife's birthday, so we watched the sunset with champagne at the Beach Bar and celebration dinner at the excellent Sea Marlin restaurant in Paradis. The staff were so kind and decorated our table, plus a cake after dinner. We then went over to the Paradis main bar and danced the night away to a lively band there! The next day we did some sightseeing around Le Morne - Chamarel 7-colour earth, waterfalls, etc. despite the rain. Our final dinner was at the wonderful Mediterranean restaurant in Paradis, finishing off with a nightcap back at the Dinarobin bar with a jazz band, to round off our fantastic holiday week in Mauritius!
    • The beach in front of the property is one of a kind. We would gladly come back to this hotel only to have the chance to experience it once again. And the access to Paradise lagoon on windy days was also great. The boy at the pool, the person operating the glassboat, the shuttle drivers and the cleaning staff were all super nice.

    Cons -

    • Steps leading up to the suites can be slippery when wet; maybe put some non-slip tiles over there?
    • The service itself did not have the romantic vibe we were hoping for. It is massive resort, and most of the time we felt like resort for mass tourism. Many of the staff were pretty grumpy, particularly at reception, and the desk for restaurant and activities bookings. Breakfast at Dinnarobin was messy, not tasty, and most of the staff were completely lost. And it was like that all 4 days we were there. Dinners at Blue Marlin and Dinas were also nothing special.
    • We liked everything.

The Staff of the Dinarobin Hotel is world class. In particular the concierges team was great and helpful beyond what one could expect (many thanks to Berty, Agen and Pascal). We really liked the food (especially the Blue Merlin restaurant which serves a food that could easily compete with most of the fine dining restaurants in major cities). The place (with LeMorne mountain in the landscape) is spectacular, the beaches are long. We also really enjoyed the SPA yoga classes (by Mohini) and the perks that the hotel offers to newly weds (free lunch, bottle of sparkling wine and a very beautiful hotel room with awsome view). A lot of good night entertainment (singing etc.) was also a plus.

    We liked everything.

very friendly staff and nice resort

Variety of the buffet for breakfast and also dinner

    10KunalPosted on: 6-27-2025

The concierge, especially Joel and Agen, deserves a lot of credit. Exceptional hospitality from Joel, who went out of the way and got arrangements done for us.

They should have had at least one restaurant where dinner could be had in casuals

Absolutely amazing place to stay with everything you need at the hotel, including all the types of water activities! Green territory with direct access to the beach from our room. It was on the 1st floor (above the ground floor) and was perfect!

The staff was very helpful and enthusiastic! They made great room decoration for our honeymoon. And they were perfect in the first 3 days of our living. However, the last day (7th of May) likely the whole team was changed, they seemed not happy especially in breakfast, I witnessed one staff had horrible attitude towards a Chinese or Korean couple when he served them (although the couple was quiet and well behaved). It was a big contrast with the last three days. Maybe because of the pouring rain that day, the vibe changed a lot.

Property was nice staff were friendly

Service was slow and had a awarked policy of wearing trousers to the bar in the evening which makes no sense for a tropical country. There were no bicycles for parents to take kids or tricycles

The view we had was beautiful, the room so spacious, super comfortable bed - the dinners were amazing and loved the different themed dinners that the food did not become boring. Wonderful choice of food with the buffet. Strongly recommend booking half board basis. Staff super helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Absolutely loved this place and would go back in a heart beat.

No milk in the fridge in the room for tea in the morning - coffee creamer does not go well with tea.At the buffet in the evening we did find the waiters not listen to our drinks orders properly. We were there 3 nights and on 2 of those evening the drinks orders were incorrect.Minor issued however you did ask what I did not like. Other than the above the place is absolutely faultless. The most beautiful place I have ever stayed.

The location and the view of the Lemorne was spectacular. The property itself is very huge and multiple pools were spread out so people have easy access to a pool no matter where you are located. Didn’t get to play golf. But drove past the course one day and looked well kept and beautiful. The room and bathroom sizes were huge with a very comfortable bed. The staff service esp the restaurant staff ( breakfast buffet) was the best. They went above and beyond to make sure , I and my 2 girls had the perfect time relaxing having a meal. Make sure to take advantage of their daily free activities on the property. We loved our stay - wished it was longer :)

Wished there were more food variety or options , casual cafes, bars along the property considering its size. Perhaps I am used to the carribeam resorts

    10EmmanuelPosted on: 12-13-2024

Yes the resort was well kept ,the bedrooms were quite spacious with a beautiful ocean/sunset view, the resort also had different activities to enjoy during the day

    10StephanPosted on: 9-20-2024

Simply amazing. Special tks to Joël (concierge) for the more than welcome reception as well as for coordinating tours. Have dinner at Umami and Dina are a must do. At Umami, delicious Omakase menu. At Dina, Selvem (waiter) was super friendly with super service provided. Paco (waiter) at pool area super attentive to us. In a nutshell, amazing people running the biz. Spectacular landscape.

Small issue at l’harmonie restaurant service quickly solved by Parvoz (manager) who turned a bad experience in something great

An intimate and personal experience. 5* but feels like home. Staff are the best staff i have ever been in a hotel with. They were amazing with my children (even when i felt frazzled they would not listen). They addressed us by name around the resort, and it is definitely value for money in comparison to other 5*. We arrived and there were teddies and kids club activity bags along with T shirts for the kids. Staff were so accommodating. They helped us hire a car and were very flexible with the days we needed it. They would tuck our children into the table with a smile and drive them up and down the resort on a buggy just for fun. A great family experience i unreservedly recommend. The hotel was apparently full while we stayed but we did not feel it. In fact, we had a whole heated pool almost to ourselves.

    That we didn’t stay longer

    10NataliaPosted on: 8-1-2024

This is the best hotel I have ever visited. Attention to every detail, beautiful rooms and swimming pools, brilliant beach, service exceeded all my expectations. I never go back to the same places, but I could visit this hotel many times!

    absolutely nothing!

    10RitaPosted on: 7-30-2024

Location is perfect, water activities for free, food was very nice. The best is that there is no sunbed reservation and the staff is leading each guests to breakfast and dinner which makes everything stressfree.

There can be more toilets close to the beach.

    10AndrewPosted on: 7-22-2024

Location, and facilities could not be beaten, we went out of season so hotel and grounds were quiet which was perfect. Food and service was excellent. Loved the fact you could snorkel from the beach and see the sealife. The fact that you not reserve sun beds. Loved the bar area and the beanbags on the beach.

A little more information about the history and culture of Maritius. Education on how to conserve and treat the sealife (Turtles and Coral) and how to treat them i.e. do not get too close do not touch or feed the turtles. I saw other guests chasing the turtles and stroking them. I am aware that there is suncream that does not damage the coral and this needs to be promoted.

The rooms are very spacious and are quite comfortable, which was nice given there was some rainy weather - which passed quickly and we just relaxed on our covered deck during the shower. The staff was attentive and professional. The beach bed situation is top notch, they're spread out and they even have bean bag lounge chairs, so comfortable and that spaced out setup is perfect. The food was overall pretty good, some restaurants were definitely better than others.

The PADI center could've been a bit more accommodating, we understand there may not be enough divers of certain levels but we were more than happy to pay for a private dive. If we had known we wouldn't be able to do an advance dive we would've booked a dive with another shop.

    10VladislavPosted on: 7-14-2024

Everything, The hotel is really an amazing place that we previously saw only on TV or movies. The staff, service, culinary experience, hotel room, beach ... all of it was fantastic.

Nothing. Perhaps the only thing worth mentioning here is the dying corals in the sea. This is something hotel and authorities should perhaps collaborate on to protect and revitalize the local waters.

    10AlexandraPosted on: 6-30-2024

Best place I have ever been. This was our first vacation as a family, with a 2 years old toddler and everything was just fantastic. Great food, amazing staff, beautiful location and beach. The hotel is located in the most beautiful part of the island.
