    • First, I’ll start with the high level of customer service and sense of hospitality of the staff. Then the property itself is in pristine condition and very well maintained. Lots of activities available onsite or offsite with vetted vendors. The concierge was extremely helpful too. The food options were numerous with several restaurants and buffet options, all of very high quality in amazing settings. The sports facilities were also great. I got a massage at the spa - one of the best ever. Last but not least, the kids club staff was just wonderful, so kind, welcoming and friendly with lots of fun things for kids of all ages to do.
    • Amazing spot with beautiful beaches. The hotel was so caring for babies. In our room we had a changing table, a baby batch and a baby bed. There so many activities that can be done.
    • Dear Paradis Beachcomber Team,I’m writing to extend my deepest gratitude for the truly unforgettable experience I had during my recent stay at your beautiful resort. It was my very first time visiting Mauritius, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation—thanks to your outstanding hospitality.A special thank you to Mr. Jimmy and Mr. Poliah for making me feel so genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. Your warm smiles and kind attention made a world of difference and added a personal touch that I will always remember.I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Chef Valencia. Every meal was a masterpiece! The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were phenomenal. Dining at the resort was a highlight of my stay, and I found myself looking forward to each meal with excitement. The people of Mauritius are incredibly warm and kind, and this trip—coinciding with my birthday—became extra special because of the love and joy I felt all around me. I left not only with beautiful memories but with a deep appreciation for the Mauritian spirit of hospitality.Thank you once again for everything. I’m already looking forward to returning someday soon.Warmest regards,Hadeel

    Cons -

    • We were on half-board (breakfast-dinner) the food at the buffet was tasteless and the way it is organized is not appealing. The coffee (cappuccino) is from an automatic machine and does not taste good. The restaurant room where the buffet is, is old and dark which does not give you the pampering experience. We found out that the Zest (one of the à la carte restaurant) is serving breakfast too and we got a way better experience in term of service even if food should be improved. We were very disappointed of the food at buffet (breakfast and dinner) and it did not match the level of 5 stars and the luxury feeling the hotel claim to be at or the price we paid per night. We stayed at the Lux* on the island and definitely the food there is at another level. The hotel is family friendly, there were a lot of families with kids, however, it felt that the hotel was more welcoming families than people without kids. There were no dedicated area for adults. It would be good to have a dedicated place for adult for breakfast for example or for beach access. One day we were relaxing on the beach by our room, we were the only one there. The kids club brought the kids (20+) on the space next to us to build sand castle, they could have gone anywhere else, basically the beach was empty but they stayed next to us, forcing us to move on the other side to enjoy our relaxing time. I found it very disappointing especially for the standing the hotel and for the price paid.
    • We had lots of problems with dinner reservation. First, I asked the hotel before arrival if I needed to book dinner in advance, they not only didnt answer my question but also assigned us ramdonly to restaurants we did not wanted to go. Once I arrived, I asked to change it and with a lot of effort I could rearrange it. However, when we got to the restaurant they didnt have our reservations booked (both in La Ravenna and Zest). We ended up getting a table, but it was an overall terrible experience for such an expensive 5 star hotel. Besides that, everything was too pricey for the level of service. On our first day we arrived at Zest and they told us we could not order food at the beach after 3pm (even though it was still 2:50pm), so we had to move inside the restaurant just to order an appetizer and then move back to the beach to order drinks. I know the hotel has rules, but we often felt like “just another guest” and no one tried to make our stay any better. This was 1 of the 3 hotels we picked for our honeymoon and for sure it was the worst sevice we had.
    • The dinner options (I only had breakfast) at the hotel are pretty pricey, but the food is really good. Lots of families with small (screaming) kids.

The location is magnificent, right on the Morne with beautiful views. It makes is very special and give a sense of paradise. The place was very clean, the room was spotless and the hotel as well as its facilities are well maintained. The staff is constantly cleaning the garden, the beach. We stayed at the Paradis Beachfront room, direct access to the ocean, beautiful views (2nd floor) but the room lacked of design, the furniture were basic and the lighting bright like in an hospital - it was a bit impersonal. There is two restaurants à la carte on site, beautifully designed, very good food and selection of wine. The service was impeccable.

The location is the best, the views of Le Morne are stunning and the color of the water is out of this world. The restaurants are nice, especially La Ravenna and Blue Marlin, however everything was very expensive. The room was very good, but it surely needs some renovation.

Absolutely loved my stay at Paradise Beachcomber in Le Morne! The location is stunning, the beach is pristine, and the view of Le Morne Brabant is unforgettable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. A perfect tropical getaway — I’d come back in a heartbeat!

Fantastic! Amazing resort on an even better location. Gorgeous beaches, great sports facilities, good food. Rooms are super spacious (I got a free upgrade :)), cleaning multiple times daily, bright, comfortable. Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Will definitely come back.

The dinner options (I only had breakfast) at the hotel are pretty pricey, but the food is really good. Lots of families with small (screaming) kids.

The beach, water, weather, and restaurants were amazing !!! The staff at the restaurants were an absolute delight. Best beaches and not as much wind at this location.

Certain of the staff at the reception desk were a bit patronising, for no apparent reason… The one’s that showed us out, were much more friendly… and the waiters were also much more friendly and down to earth. You should add t’s & c’s to your website, because certain things are advertised as complementary, however, are subjected to occasions (not specified in the app or website). Also, when we asked about this, we got the same patronising attitude…just for asking.

Unclarity between offer on booking.com and hotel leading to additional fees during check in.

Lovely surroundings Golf course and Palm trees.Delicious breakfast. Option to use facilities in nearby Dinarobin resort with shuttle service every 15 minutes. superb water sport activities like waterskiing, scuba diving, glass boat and snorkeling. Friendly and decent staff. Room is spacious and has all the facilities and very clean. Kids club has a very active schedule with activities and lots of fun for kids.

Some sellers on the beach with souvenirs . I don't think it's a place for them to be there in a super luxury resort. They could be in a public beach instead. I don't know the policy for such activity. Anyway they didn't bother us at all.

    9mikePosted on: 9-22-2024

Great place. very luxurious. Nice beach and pool area and golf course. Lots of activities included in the stay and some optional. The room was huge and comfy. The bath room had both tub and shower separate it was very large and the balcony had a couch as well . Over the top.

The activity counter to book extra optional activities was only open from 9:30 till about 4:30. So hard to book activities if you don’t arrive during those times.

On Arrival, of their own accord, they upgraded us to a better Seaview Unit, which we really appreciated. It was our 4 th Anniversary. They also surprised us that evening with a bottle of Pink Rose Wine and Rose petals on our bed. Their Gift was a Great Blessing. We ll definitely be back in the future.Thank you so much Lord Jesus

Loved everything, best snorkeling spot was right Infront of our Unit. Dinner at the Zest was Amazing! Thank you so much Paradis Beachcomber Hotel.

Breathtaking scenery. Outstanding service staff couldn't do enough for us, they treated us like family. Dining in the restaurants was incredible, really enjoyed our trip. Next time we'll stay for longer

We had the best time! We would definitely visit again! The staff were professional, kind and lovely. We really enjoyed the facilities at the hotel, tennis, table tennis, the pools and glass bottom boat trip (we saw sea turtles swimming). The beach was also lovely to swim in and we enjoyed the food at the hotel. Kids liked the kids club activités as there is a soccer field where all the kids and some adults gathered to play soccer in the evenings! The sega dancing a highlight

There was really nothing negative to say!

Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a great view of the ocean. Restaurants and the food was very good. Most of the staff in the restaurants were very helpful and kind. Boat house facilities are mostly free of charge and the staff is very helpful. It is also great to be able to drink a free glass of water at any bar counter. Special thanks to Youvina from concierge and Roy from the Zest restaurant.

Some of the reception and concierge staff looked as if they are interested and attentive but they never followed up on the requests we made. At the beach bars most of the staff looked unhappy. If you like to spend a long time swimming it is not the best place. If you like to lie on the beach all day and attend activities such as snorkeling, wind-surfing, kayaking, etc. this is your place! These are mostly free of charge.

    Room, Hotel location

Staff driving the golf carts like it's a race track!!! Our driver for a check-out transfer to a lobby area, was driving so fast that one of the suitcases landed on the palm tree. We didn't notice until arriving at the MRU airport that the suitcase was damage! Also, Doing the reservations for every night dinner was too much! (Unless you have 6-8-10 people party, sure, request reservation). It was too much to think about the dinner every day. Overall nice hotel, Many families with small children - maybe It should be area for a hotel where families with children can stay - something to consider.

    3YazeedPosted on: 2-28-2024

Spacious rooms. Better beach (but not best) than other hotels in the islands.

    - Unnecessarily complicated dinner dress code requirement for a “beach” resort. - They charge you for still water in your half-board package (bear mind it’s free at your room, but chargeable at your prepaid dinner). - Upon scrutinizing my bill in check out, I found out that they had hidden charges called “FDC contribution” which they never warned me about, they removed it when I protested.- Unfriendly management team and un-accommodating to simple requests
