The hotel was fine, and I think it would be suitable for travelers who want the 'beach club' experience with 'party vibes'. It's in a beautiful location with great access to the beach/local hikes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was average, what you would expect from a buffet.

The hotel was incredibly busy, and we didn't realise that you had to book restaurants and activities. This meant we couldn't do much as everything was fully booked, which was disappointing. This meant we couldn't do watersports for example. We also were given a credit to use at the hotel as part of the booking offer, however it turned out that the credit only worked on some treatments at the spa and a couple activities, and was a 5-10% discount as opposed to actual credit. This was also unclear at the time of booking and disappointing. I think overall, it's just a very big, busy and noisy hotel, e.g., pool DJ in the mornings, people lounging and drinking all day. Nothing was particularly bad, it just wasn't the calm or relaxing experience we had hoped for, but would suit people who want more of party vibe.

Wonderful ExperienceOur stay was truly delightful. The staff were exceptional – attentive, professional, and always ready to assist. When we experienced an issue with lost AirPods, the property immediately took care of it and provided compensation, which left us deeply impressed by their dedication to guest satisfaction.The weather was also ideal for the season: pleasantly warm without being too hot, with sunshine gracing nearly every day.Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we would be more than happy to return.

The FoodThere is certainly a wide variety of food available, and you will never go hungry here. However, I found the quality and taste to be below expectations. In the main restaurant, many of the meat dishes were disappointing – steaks and other cuts were not well-prepared, though the burger patties had some flavor. From the large selection, the salmon, other cold fish at the salad bar, potatoes, and eggplants stood out as the most enjoyable options.The resort also offers many à la carte restaurants, but unfortunately, these did not improve the experience. The steakhouse, for example, requires queuing very early; arriving even 90 minutes before opening, I was still far back in line. Once inside, the food again lacked flavor. We tried several other specialty restaurants, but none were particularly satisfying.For the remainder of our stay, we chose to dine in the main restaurant, where at least there was always something decent to eat without the hassle of reservations or long waits.Overall, I very much enjoyed the hotel and the atmosphere, but the food was surprisingly the weakest part of the experience.

The room did not meet the expectations that were set based on pictures from booking.com, and while I was promised that I will be provided a room with a better view from what was visible in booking.com (these discussion and the confirmation came through booking.com and I have it on email), I was told that the hotel cannot provide what was promised and that this was due to an issue between booking and the hotel. So the "free upgrade" was promised by booking and not by the hotel. This was the summary from the reception when I checked in This immediately downgraded the experience as the view of the room was not even close to what was visible in the pictures while booking the room through booking com. I asked for a room change and the hotel suggested an alternative room but neither that lived up to the expectations so I decided to avoid packing again and moving.

The property is relatively new so everything is modern and clean.Perfect spot for kitesurfers, you can literally go kitesurfing from the property! Amazing staff, super friendly, helpful and attentive. Special thanks to Josh at the lounge/bar. He’s funny, attentive and has a fantastic service personality. The bar manager was also great and had everything running smoothly at all times. He was checking on the guests to make sure everyone was having a good time.The buffet had great selection and I would say it was even better than two other restaurants which you need to book in advance, we ate at all the restaurants so I can compare. We did not use to pool even once but I could see that it was clean and well taken care off.And the best of all since it’s an Adult only property, there weren’t any screaming children running around. Highly recommend this hotel if you wanna kitesurf but also wanna stay in a comfortable and modern hotel.

It’s not really a complain but one day we went fishing and caught a lot of fish, when we asked if it can be prepared, the chef refused and we had to throw it all away. Another thing is the bathroom, there is no shower/hose next to the toilet and it was super annoying after using the toilet. Maybe think of installing it for guests hygiene and comfort.

Facilities and pool were great, staff was friendly, and the food and drinks were very good and varied everyday.

We did not know before that the al a carte restaurants needed to be pre-booked well in advanced. We were not able to find a spot for any of the 3 night we were there. However, the buffet in the main restaurant was always available and good.

Great experience, beautiful hotel overall, great gardens and delicious food. Highly recommended if you like bigger hotels.I really liked adults part only.It is a saver if you travel without kids.

Loved the location, loved that it was adults only, drinks options were very good (Elite Club), rooms were comfy, and the Elite Club pool was great.

The food was disappointing as there was only one vegetarian option in each of the a la carte restaurants, and they were not great options, in fact two of the restaurants served us the exact same thing. This meant that we had to eat at the buffet restaurant a lot, and we prefer a la carte. The options at the buffet restaurant were good, but quality could have been a little better. This is not really the hotel’s fault, but we were surprised that most of the guests were a lot older than us. There were hardly any guests in our age bracket (30s) which we found a bit odd. Most were 50+.

Big shout out to Gerald in reception that went above and beyond to make my birthday very special. I sincerely appreciate all you did and hope you get some recognition from your team.

The cleanliness gets 10/10. Absolutely fantasticthe staff get 10/10, always willing to help, language can be a bit of an issue even in english but staff were great.

I don't like being lied to.First you are encouraged to pay extra for elite. this gives you better rooms and supposedly access to private dining rooms and a special bar where the alcohol is better qualityImagine checking in for a three night stay to be told you have to book the special dining rooms 2 days in advance. Imagine being told that on your third night all special restaurants are closed for a special event which never happened and in real was actually because management let all staff off for the night because occupation was lowImagine asking the reception to see if there was space in any of the special restaurants, to be told that they did request and all were full, only to have some other employee see that you are frustrated for paying extra for nothing and go and ask on your behalf and find the restaurants half empty.Totally forgot the scam that all inclusive hotels are.!

Reception was very warm and welcoming. Promptly responded to needs.

Room service menu was pathetic with only 4 items to choose from at any time of the day and food menu in the restaurants was repeatative however whatever was offered was of good quality. House keeping was good but Room design was not very good as the tiles dint allow proper cleaning. However the property was decent if you were just looking to sit around and do nothing.

Easy check-in, room a good size and bathroom had a good shower with plenty of hot water. The pool area was clean towels were provided and ample sunbeds for everyone. Having speciality restraunts was great as think buffet could get monotonous, but saying that there was a good choice of starters, mains and desserts. Drinks were good quality and having the coffee bar was perfect for us that don't drink alcohol. The ground were immaculately kept and very pretty. The beach had plenty of loungers and trees for shade, just mind the coconuts ?.

This is a big hotel so if you have mobility issues request a room close to reception. Food in buffet was not always hot just warm.

fabulous location, beautiful clean beach, great food and very good service. I would particularly like to mention Ujwal, Yadish and Vashish at Le Morne bar, Ravish at the front desk and Karma and Jevin at the Waterfall bar for their outstanding service.

Property was wonderful, we enjoyed the adults only areas.

Towards the end of our stay our room and bathroom was not cleaned as thoroughly as we would have liked. We also could never reserve one of the specific restaurants.

Absolutely disappointed!

Me and my partner encountered multiple serious issues that significantly impacted our experience, making it the most unpleasant stay I have ever had in all my travels to OVER 30 COUNTRIES. Below, I outline the main concerns:1. MOST IMPORTANT: I attempted to file a formal complaint at the reception, only to be informed that the complaint book could NOT be found. Instead, the staff hastily submitted a complaint on the computer in mere seconds, which was likely inaccurate and did not properly document my concerns. Since they could not find the book, they gave us a paper with this email and said to write our complaints.2. Upon arrival at our room, we noticed that the names assigned to the room were incorrect. The welcoming note read "Mr. & Mrs. Eden," while our actual names are Mr. Dias Sousa and Mr. Sousa Carreira. This mistake is unacceptable.3. The first day we arrived, we tried to go to the Restaurant Steakhouse around 20:30, however the reception told us that it would no longer be possible since they were already closing and told us to go the next day at 19:00. The next day we went at 19:00 and they told us that we had to wait until 20:30 to have a table. How is it possible that one day at 20:30 they refused to serve us because they were closing but the next day would be possible at the exactly same time?4. Some restaurants (Kaori, Krystal, etc.) allow reservations via the app, yet we were never able to book a table. Despite multiple visits to the reception, we ended up having to eat at the buffet, despite being told that Elite Club members receive priority reservations.5. On 15.02.2025, between 20:45 and 21:00, while dining at the Elite Club Restaurant, a mouse ran past our feet and exited through the front door. This is an unacceptable and alarming hygiene issue.6. In our LAST full day at Riu Palace Mauritius and in Mauritius SEVERAL SERIOUS problems happened: a) It was clear that the housekeeping service tampered our stuff.
