Holiday Inn Kayseri - Duvenonu By IHG

The staff was really friendly and made a very stressful week feel a bit easier to get through. The room was cleaned every day and it was done so to a very satisfying degree. The breakfast was very delicious and the rooftop location made watching the sunrise while you have your breakfast a really good experience. I have to again mention the staff, such kind and helpful people. I know where I will be staying on my next stay in Kayseri.

Stylish bathroom, reasonable size room, large bed, reasonable selection for breakfast, nice mountain view, central atrium, reception area & bar very stylish!

Although we were on a non smoking floor in the evenings there was a strong smell of smoke in our room!

Good location

Breakfast was very poor. Hotel and room stank of cigarettes. Room was very noisy due to bar in hotel. Bar staff repeatedly tried to charge food and drinks that we hadn’t even ordered. This happened on several occasions. Reception split our 4 day room bill into 2 separate bills meaning I had to pay on my card twice very stupid and very confusing

Very clean and modern. Nice amenities and a gym. Could do with a few more weights, but overall a very nice hotel.Loved the rooftop restaurant. Great views ??

Decent, clean, typical holiday inn hotel.

Personally I had a good experience staying here. However, something very strange and unpleasant happened to my friend. while I left early to catch a flight, my friend slept in. And while she was sleeping, someone came in with a key (meaning didn’t knock/ring) to take away the keycard we inserted for electricity. Of course the room temp started to go up and my friend woke up cuz it was getting really hot. I have no idea why on earth would a hotel staff do such creepy thing, not to mention the potential danger such thing poses to female travelers. This incidence ruined my trust in holiday inn.

No lotion and conditioner in the room, although thh he is is nitpicking.

The staff & food was nice in general. The room was clean.

We requested well in advance for the breakfast boxes to be ready during our early morning checkout. It was told that it would be ready but we never got the boxes. We were told that the person at night who took the request never informed the next person to get it done!

The great modern hotel. It is very convenient that on the first floor there is great restaurant Big Chef, we usually visit this cafe in Antalya. The hotel also has great internet connection that's very rare for Turkey. The room is comfortable, perfect soundproofing, excellent bed.

The size of room is perfect of 2 people, but when the extra bed is added there is not much space. There is traditional Turkish breakfast, it is poor choice for our son.

Hotel location is good, staffs at the restaurant are great.

There is no parking lot at the hotel. You need to park your car on the road.

The room had no air conditioning. staff had trouble communicating. They kept trying to charge for all the additional facilities and accomodation that I have prepaid for.

roomcleaning is a joke. Even After telling the reception. hairs ( not ours ) everywhere, dirty toiletseat, dirty surfaces.

The hotel looked very modern and amazing interior design. Rooms were great and spacious. The restaurants were fantastic and in general, it was a Perfect package!

I loved everything about the property. Only the bathrooms could have been more clean

The room is spacious and clean.Bathroom and the shower pressure very good.They serve Dove as body bath soap and Shampoo.Tq very much.Big Chef restaurant is a nice place to eat.Food served is good but very slow.

Staff needs to be proficient in English.Perhaps the hotel management could think of making a short course in English for the staff.StFf on front desk must not just be presentable but in terms of communication skills.

Location, amenities, room

Personnel is a bottleneck: not fluent in English, and also frankly disinterested. The lady is the spa area turned off hamam 30 min before it was supposed to be closed, lady in the breakfast area was able to charge only two people breakfast and not one (my husband could not join) - all of this pretty annoying

This is a nice hotel with good facilities, clean rooms, helpful staff and close to the airport. We stayed in November. When we went to our room everything was fine except the room was very warm (27C). Turning on the air conditioning didn’t help and we were told that the hotel doesn’t run the room air conditioning during winter. The only option was to open the windows, which did cool the room down at the expense of having to put up with the street noise and pollution.

The location of the property is perfect and the city is also very clean and well laid out. The staff at the reception, Ms.Salma was very patient in letting us know about the things to do. The room that we stayed was very nice and colourful!The staff were all very helpful and could convesre in English. The Kayseri castle is just down the road and it is a very pleasant walk along the tramline. The city square opp. to the castle is a very happening place and gives a character to the City. We wished we could have stayed here and done Capadocya but may not be suitable for the early morning (4.30am) balloon safari. Otherwise, very near to Capadocya and a good, reasonably priced hotel.

There is not much on the menu for vegetarians! At least, some items should be made availablle on request and we suffered a lot! Also, nearby, there are no great places to eat.
