    Pros +

    • Everything was perfect. the kids loved the water park, we loved the food, the pools were very nice as well. The room too, spacious and clean. The shared pool had too much chlore (but I can understand why). We also like very much the night events.
    • Staff was very receptive and great. Beach is quite nice around the location.
    • great facilities, great staff, lots to do on the property with kids

    Cons -

    • Not much to do in waliking distance :) But was not a problem as we didn't want to leave the hotel :)
    • The food and drinks were meh. While there was a good variety, the quality is definitely below the price tag of the hotel. You can find much better in other locations.
    • The food at breakfast is clearly from the day (or 2 days?) before. You can fuel up your car with their orange juice and oil the motor with the bar tap beer (the worst we tried during our whole stay in lovely Greece). We booked a family suite and had only one bed ready when we arrived, the bathroom was not clean everywhere (not to mention the design and decoration that is outdated, as are the equipments in general in the hotel). The private pools were not cleaned nor heaten anymore, which was not mentioned on booking (one can understand the main one is closed in November, but why the small ones?). For this price you can find muchhh better elsewhere

    Great food, service and location.

    Too busy around the pool.

    10DanePosted on: 10-13-2024

It was a great resort. Food was good, drinks were always available and the room was quiet.

I wish they had more traditional Greek food at some meals.

Very diverse and good food. You need a car to see more.

A big umbrella would be usefull in the balcony

The staff most friendly, helpful & accommodating, the facilities overall were what we expected, the standard of food on offer whether it be at breakfast, lunch and dinner were tasty. very well cooked and indeed exceptional. Many kudos to the chefs and indeed too, to the waiting staff. The swimming pool was very good, always clean and refreshing to swim in. The beach was very nice albeit it would have been much more welcoming, if in many parts it didn't have shingles, small rocks and pebbles on entry into the water.

What we didn't enjoy were the uncomfortable chairs available to sit on primarily at the beach bar and to some extent the other bar. Seating wasn't welcoming, nor comfy & snug enough; one could easily notice this by looking at other guests - much too hard for many to sit in for long & enjoy their drinks. Importantly: the sun loungers by the pool & the beach are just too low. As a doctor, I did not fail to notice & indeed helped several people viz. some elderly folk, people with back problems, hip problems, knee problems, muscle aches etc. struggling to lower themselves onto them & even worse, asking for assistance to get themselves up. Even numerous US service personnel we met over our 10 days sojourn, from time to time offered their help & had issues. This lovely comfortable hotel needs to address this, big time, methinks. Lastly, I do not believe a hotel of this standard & quality should allow any stray dogs to run amok, fight [being aggressive] between themselves, cock their legs at sun loungers, pee and defecate on the green grass areas. They should be rounded up!

TUI kids club staff, especially Emily and Helena, were really good with our little boy

    9AndriiPosted on: 8-25-2024

Everything was really really good. Food is great, always a good choice, maybe not that big choice like in Egypt/Turkey hotels, but the quality is much better. Very nice staff everywhere; and here special thanks to Inna from animation team - daughter loved her and it was superb. Also, I definitely like their sustainability policy in all aspects. Also, there are a lot of activities for kids - kids club, including some activities for while family, playground, playroom, etc. So really recommended for families. Choice of drinks in all-inclusive package is not so big, but I'd say it's enough. Pools are clean and water is warm.

The only downside is pool opening times - from 10 till 18, I believe it can be 1 hour more on each side.

    9OrsolyaPosted on: 8-5-2024

The food was really good and varied day by day, always were nice dishes to choose during the whole day. (All inclusive we had)Animation programs during the day were nice, my special favourite were the aqua fitness occassions and the Circus show in the evening, I would definitely keep that. The resort overall was really clean.

On the daily evening performances I would improve.

    Buffet was great

Our room was opposite the bar which was a bit noisy but it wasn’t too bad

We had the pleasure to receive one of the best room the hotel has! - first one in line, sea view! The room (an apartment I may say) was large, 2 big rooms and a bathroom. The sea was few meters away - more than great! The hotel has many swimming pools! The restaurant has a lot of food on each one's taste! (Also gluten free) Great variety! Also the shows they have every evening - were great! Our kids loved the Mini Disco Show ?

The bathroom can be a little bit redone. Also the sand on its beach can be more cleaner. The closing hour of the pool can be 19:00 and not 18:00 as it is) but the staff of the hotel allowed us to stay longer ?

    10TamaraPosted on: 7-15-2024

The service staff was fantastic! The location of the hotel, the rooms, the cleanliness and the food were amazing!

It is not the first time to Crete, but this time was really amazing because of our fantastic experience in this hotel! The perfect place, especially for families with children.

The food was great, as were the rooms.

The photos show a kids club, which is doesn’t exist. This is very misleading information. The is a an other kids club, but during our 5days stay it was never open.

the food was good every day was something else something new it was pretty clean the room were cleaned every day except for changing the towels but if you want them clean you can leave them on the floor or ask for new one the hotel itself is really nice and big , finally the customer service was one of the best it was perfect the first day we arrived at the hotel around 2:30 am and we had a problem with our booking but Nikos Nousis was really patient with us he helped us with everything even he gave us a room to rest and told us to come back the next day he was so nice and helpful, and in the next day Alice and Dimitris were super nice and helped us through everything they even offered to upgrade our booking they kept checking on us through the whole trip if we needed anything she had an answer to every question. Thank you so much guys we really appreciate it. I really really recommend you to visit this hotel and enjoy a luxurious experience

We were with our 1.5 and 3 year old. It is a great place to stay with your kids. The kids bar has everything (with plastic plates, highchairs).. There was always pasta, pizza, fries, salad and fruits. The baby pool and playground was great. The activities for kids made our life easier (Kids' Disco, Little Splashers, Parent & Baby time, Magic Show...)The different cuisin nights at dinner ( Japanese, Mexican, Greek, Italian...) was nice.Great entertainment team, smiling faces all the time.Breakfast 7:30-10:30Snack bar 11-18Dinner 18:30-21Soft drinks+Beer+Wine was free.Cocktails, everything else you had to pay. There are 3 stores near the hotel, where you can buy almost everything: Pampers, swimming suite for kids, toys for kids....We arrived early in the morning with a plane and although the chech-in was at 3 PM, we got a room at noon. Also got a room upgrade which was really nice. The beach is sandy, but when you enter the sea there are pebbles, so the swimming shoes came handy. We had a Family Suit with shared pool. The suit (3501) was next to the main swimming pool which made easy for us to reach everything and wasn't noisy at night, but we didn't have much privacy on the terrace. The sofas and beds are comfortable.

The bar where they served good (Italian) coffee in the morning opened at 9:30. The snack bar was a bit boring after 7 days. The swimming pool opens at 10 and closes at 18, so it was great to have a shared pool. But we used more the playground and the beach in the mornings. Having a pool next to apartment could be stressful as well, the kids wanted to get in all the time.We had some ants in the bathroom. We asked for an airport transfer to Chania Airport which costs 80 euros ( to pricey), the transfer was 20 minutes late which was unpleasant and stressful with kids.
