Hotel la Torre

The room was quite spacious and newly renovated. The hotel structure is cool. wonderful breakfast. lots of free parking near the hotel (not in the ZTL). The location is good, only 5-10 min walk to the ski lift. also hotel provide ski shuttle.

Bed and pillows was kinda hard for my taste. No blaconies in the rooms. The spa wasn't included which was a shame, and cost ridiculously 43 EUR entry (but it also wasnt listed to have a spa, so...)

The lady that helped me book my airport shuttle. Super helpful. And the bus to the ski lift.

My room wasn't cleaned properly on arrival (feces stains on the toilet). I told the staff about it and they said housekeeping would clean it while I was out at dinner, but it wasn't done. I had this interaction three times during my two night stay. Each time I was promised it would be cleaned. At no time was this actioned and on check out there was no offer for compensation.

Onsite parking and pets allowed. Clean and warm.

The spa is in a different building and has a fee. The photos are misleading.

Iconic looking building both externally and internally. Great position for Mountain View’s and close to centre of village for bars / restaurants / supermarket . Helpful guy on desk when engineer needed to sort out a mechanical noise issue. Good bath and shower. Decent breakfast. Transfer mini bus to ski lift

A bit tired and I think for the price living on history. Very slow lifts. Uncomfortable lumpy mattress and pillows with starchy and rough bedding. Was put in an another room for a night so not an isolated issue. Shuttle bus not big enough and sometimes needed to wait for second one in peak times. The hotel advertisement appears to be a spa hotel but it’s actually a separate building / business next door that costs 25e for 2 hours.

Close to town. Good breakfast.

Say it’s 4*. It’s not. Rooms were clean but grubby and dated. Mastic round the bath was all grubby and coming off. Bath fan didn’t work. Only 1 socket in the entire room worked with an adapter. So could only charge 1 phone at a time. Gave us a ski locker that only fitted less than half what we had. When I asked reception it’s to small as we r 3 skiers. She said sorry about that. Then carried on with her conversation. Staff were not that friendly either.

The lobby was lovely, clean and the staff were friendly.

The rooms need updating and some new mattresses. Beds were very hard.

Very nice hotel, room very clean and spacious.

The hot breakfast food was not to my liking at all.Needed more than one ski bus to take people to the ski lifts.

This is not luxurious at all. But it serves a purpose. Clean and comfortable rooms, hot showers all the time, a bath for the teenagers, a good breakfast, nice staff and a van to take you to the quieter lift. Well located in the village for apres too. It’s simple and effective for 5 days of snowboarding.

The lifts are a nightmare

Ideal location. Breakfast buffet very extensive. Free transfer to and from the Sportina ski lift every 15mins.

It’s quite dated Lifts are old and small and too slow. Most times you have to walk up to your room or walk down. We were in the 6th floorbfast is not greatGames room!!!

Placement and Odd architecture. Nice view, rooms are nice and clean, friendly staff.

Way to few elevators, really really bad breakfeast, everything is worn, outdated, scratsched or damaged in one Way or the other.

Slow quirky lifts in hotel. They need a larger vehicle for transfers to piste as its often quite a wait.

Breakfast was OK and for 10€ per person a fair price. WLAN worked well.

Bear in mind while You reading we are talking about a 4 STAR HOTEL 110€ per person for a night. Hotels equipments in general are outdated. 2 small elevators with long waiting time. In the room itself ( we had a 22sq meter room) NO water boiler; NO telephone, NO glasses or mug. Assumed You need a water boiler for a tea You would have to get down to reception to ask for. Remember No telephone. In hotel information at BOOKING.COM it says Spa & Wellness Center is fee-based. The so-called Spa Center is outside the hotel and does not belong to LA TORRE ( 2 hours 18€ No towel or bathrobe incl.) and at a poor level i.e. The sauna in dimension of 3x3 meter as well as the steam bath. A bathrobe NOT available at your room. Reception told us Quote “You can buy one at own cost” ridiculous for a 4 STAR HOTEL. CHECK-out time is 10am. We asked for 30min extension. It was denied. To summ it up. We booked this hotel baed on the reviews that we read and hotel related-pictures we saw at BOOKING. They WERE ALL MISLEADING. Hotel LA TORRE is in our opinion totally overrated based on what we found there. We are really disappointed

Staff in restaurant borderline aggressive !No food type labels for vegetarians or gluten free needs. We told them asked saw chef they offered large plates of food - who wants a whole plate of cheese for a £30 euro pp meal ? A joke. Dinners are rather like school or canteen dinners. Beds ok. No kettles in rooms. God knows how they retain 4 stars. It’s possibly 2.5 stars max. You have been warned!
