It’s a beautiful boutique hotel right on the water. It was clean, the staff were very helpful and the food was great!

Place was a combo of perfection, from the lakefront pool, the silence of the lake and the service

The staff went above and beyond with their courtesy and helpfulness at every moment. Their genuine care and attentiveness made my stay not only comfortable but truly memorable. From the warm greetings to the thoughtful assistance, every interaction reflected a deep commitment to hospitality.

The noise every night above our room was a bit disturbing.

This property is fantastic. The restaurant (food is really good!), the staff and the direct access to the lake are the best part. Absolutely recommend

The property is intimate, with very attentive and friendly staff. It is well-designed with beautiful vegetation and lighting and use of organic materials and colors.The orientation is East/slightly Southeast, giving you a majestic view of the daybreak and sunrise over the spectacular Bacalar lagoon— which you can jump into or step into right off the private dock and pier. We enjoyed daytime and nighttime swims by the pier and it was exquisite.The showers had fantastic water pressure and plenty of very hot water— a rarity in this area! And felt soooo good after the long day out on the lake and hot sun.The in-house restaurant’s breakfast foods were great— beautiful amd generous fresh fruit plate with homemade yogurt was the best I’ve had in a very long time.

We did our research and we knew this, but since people don’t research properly and then complain inappropriately, I will leave one note here- the hotel is NOT WALKABLE TO THE TOWN. You will need a car. We had a car, so I have no information about availability of other transportation. Just know you are not “in town,” you are about 2km North of town.

They were amazing, kind and helpful. Facilities were spotless and comfy. The palanquetas are the next level! ?

The room has a bath tub in the entry but no privacy at all if you’re not on the second floor

Gorgeous place, kind and attentions staff, clean and beautiful rooms. We loved staying there for our honeymoon.

No mini fridge in the room. For such a hot climate I’m surprised many of the hotels we stayed at didn’t provide a mini fridge which is a bummer cause any time you want a cold beverage or even cold water you need to spend a lot and order from the hotel’s restaurant.

Bed size is really small

The hotel is very very small, though really nice.The room was incredible! they upgraded us for free to the suite viewing the Lagoon, amazing view and balcony.Also, the staff were really really nice and attentive to every request we had.Also, the pool and the downstairs to the Lagoon is really nice.

I'd say the food was not good, location was far from the city center (We wanted this but with food being not that good it was a disadvantage for us)

The rooms are spacious, however recommend requesting for a top floor room as privacy is limited on the ground floor.

The location is quite far outside of the town and you require a taxi to access the local town.

Amazing location and super-helpful staff. Tasty gourmet food Improvements needed:Liquid soap instead of soap bars (they don't lather...).For this price, a simple breakfast (tea/coffee, fruits, croissant, etc) should be provided free of charge.

Absolutely beautiful and romantic hotel. Stunning exteriors with beautiful decorations, pools and decks. Looks just like the photos! I got proposed to here and it was such a lovely experience. It was at the hotel's lovely palapas and we had dinner there afterwards. The deck is also so wonderful to watch the sunset and a lovely space to spend time.I loved our lagoon view room it felt like waking up to a nice dream. The room service also didn't come at an extra cost so it was great to order breakfast to the room as well as drinks and late-night snacks. Food was all really good here. The staff were all extremely attentive during our stay. Communication via whatsapp was really convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing really. If I had to say something the soap in the shower could have been a bit better and maybe communication prior to the visit could be a bit faster but it wasn't a big deal compared to the wonderful experience we had there.

Very nice little boutique hotel right outside of Bacalar and very close to the train station. The hotel staff is super accommodating for everything. Restaurant on site had really good food. (Portions are large on some menu items!). Like other reviewers, wish there was a mini fridge in the room. The room and large patio were very nice. Wish we would’ve had a car since there really isn’t a walking path into town. Taxis were 70 pesos each way.

Incredible service, delicious food. We got upgraded for part of our stay to fancier rooms at no cost. The lagoon-facing rooms are really nice.

The garden facing rooms are not that great. Not much privacy + they get very hot and stuff (though the rooms all have AC).

Food was good. Service very good. Pool area small but nice. Wharf area incredible if you can get those seats. Rooms by the water wonderful. Very quiet location 5-10 min cab ride from town.

Did not have cushions for all the wood lounge chairs. Nothing within walking distant.

Food was a 7-8. Bed/room comfy. The wharf on the lagoon was a wonderful place to be.

The pool area could not accomodate all the guests. Price should have included breakfast
