    Pros +

    • Only the food was fine, but not constantly fine. The first day we arrived it was awful. The breakfast is very restricted and the same every day - eggs, cheese, yoghurt, tomato/cucumber/rocket/cabbage. The juice was some concentrate diluted with water. The dessert was fine. The dinner was fine, but not fine every single time. We liked nothing else about the hotel.
    • Everything, the staff, hotel, swimming pool, food
    • The staff was ok friendly. However, the accommodation did not quite match the price. The rooms were rather small, the bathroom felt cramped, and there was no door on the shower, which caused water to spill into the room, requiring us to clean it up.The food was poor choice— not a wide variety, but it was fresh and served warm.Overall, not quite worth the price.

    Cons -

    • The location is very poor - the beach is next to non-existent and we had to travel with our car everyday to the nearby beaches because the "beach" at Theo is far, wild, tooooo narrow and scary. As I said - the "beach" at Theo is non-existent, the road to the Theo "beach" is a winding road, downhill type of road that looks abandoned and down at the beach one would see half demolished buildings of some sort, the beach is unregulated, looks abandoned, dark and narrow - literally the beach was 10 feet wide. We went to the Theo "beach" just once the afternoon we arrived to see if it is fine to visit it daily or not - and it was not fine, plus the water looked scary, so we never came back to the Theo "beach". The hotel is very hilly - too many stairs, narrow stairs, you would have to travel by car everyday to nearby beaches - we went to Mendi hotel beach, Pefkochori beach and Fourka beach/Evlogia hotel. The room was advertised as deluxe but in reality it was narrow, tight, not enough sunlight, just one small "double size" bed with only a foot of distance between the bed and the walls. Next to the bed was the toilet without enough sunlight because the window of the toilet was literally 20 cm X 30 cm, a small cabinet, a tv on the wall, night stands, hairdryer and that was all of the "deluxe" room. The parking is awful - you park on a hilly, winding road, with steep downhill sections because that is the location of the hotel - if you treat your car as a garage queen, you'll find it hard to leave the car besides the hotel baking in the hot Sun perched on a steep downhill sections with your hand brake activated beyond maximum stretch.
    • Same food every day. No fruit for breakfast, Bus shuttle to the beach was not working every dayThey can make small children playground (ex. swing, trampolina, sand pool) and it will be great place for family vacation.
    • The food was always the same every day. The room's personal pool was too chlorine. And every time you showered in the bathroom, the whole bathroom was filled with water.

The hotel makes you feel like you are on a tiny Mykonos island. The rooms are built on different levels connected with small alleys and stairs, all surrounded by green bushes and colorful flowers. I fell in love with this place. Our room was fantastic. Only the bathroom wasn’t the best, but was ok enough. If you come here for the different beaches you need a car. However there is a very beautiful beach at a walking distance below the hotel. There was not a big choice of different food for breakfast and dinner, but it was absolutely perfect for the price.

We used the hotel for business purposes and were very pleased. Clean rooms, kind staff, pleasant environment in the pool area where you can enjoy your coffee or drink.

I had a great stay! The room was very clean, and I loved the overall atmosphere — comfortable and welcoming, making my experience truly enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including fresh pastries, fruits, and hot dishes. Every morning felt like a treat! The dinner options were equally impressive, with a rich selection of meals to suit every taste. The hotel also has a lovely pool area with comfortable sun loungers, perfect for relaxing in the sun. I especially appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, who made me feel welcome throughout my stay.Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation!

The people working there were very nice and provided good service

I was expecting more for the price. There was an unpleasant septic smell around the pool area, and the food options were very limited. For the cost, I had hoped for a more comfortable and well-maintained environment.

Hotel was basic but had everything that we needed for a 2 day stay. It was clean and had a fridge in the room which was handy for storing drinks. The pool had very comfortable sun loungers and bean bags, the pool bar had seats in the shade. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel allowed a late check out on our last day without charging additional fees which was greatly appreciated. I would stay here again. 10 minute walk to the beach downhill, so people with mobility issues might struggle. 5 minute walk to restaurants and shops uphill.

The Bungalows Boutique Hotel is a very good hotel with a very kind staff, good quality food and delicious caffe frappe. The workers have been very pleasant, especially the Lady from the bar, she has been able to help us at any moment while also entertaining my child. The beach that I would refer to is AKTAION beach, which is a 7-minute walk away from the Hotel.

    8RiadPosted on: 8-24-2024

We really liked the staff, they were very friendly and helpfull. The room was very good and clean, location of the hotel was very close to the beach (only 12 minutes walk down).

There weren’t many different choices for breakfast and dinner, it was mostly the same things everyday.Besides this everything else was good.

the pool was ok but it closes at 7pm

it's 900 meters to the beach....but that wouldn't be the main problem, when you go to the sea it's ok as you go downhill but coming back is terrible, the hotel manager doesn't speak English at all, there are a lot of rules that aren't displayed nowhere, not even in the description on booking, do you find out these rules during your stay, the food is a disaster....we wanted to serve fish and I asked what kind of fish it is? and the answer amazes me... Pangasius... I can't believe that of all the fish in the sea of Greece, they serve me frozen Pangasius processed through Asia... and many others, I could know endlessly... think - well before you bookPS The spider is bonus

The staff was very nice, the food was excellent and the pool bar was amazing, cocktail and shisha one of the best combination for the pool!!! Will stay again in the future, I totally suggest it!!!

    7VladislavPosted on: 7-4-2024

I liked the bar on the pool and the beach bar near by. Staff was nice.

I didn't like the room size. The condition of the bathroom. Shower was spraying all the water outside the cabin, very poor made. Food variety was very narrow. Had to wait on the reception for someone to show.

Upon our booking, Theo Bungalow contacted/informed us that they are upgrading our room from regular room to bigger room with spa bath free of charge.Once again, we want to thank them for the hospitality.

This year, they've changed the restaurant chef and really last year chef cooking we liked more than this year, but the food is of great quality.
