Bluesun Hotel Maestral

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for relaxing on the beaches!

Entrance and parking were very confusing, as it is located in a maze of secured entry lots for the marina and other hotels. Some pre-arrival instructions would have been very helpful.

The location was wonderful. The staff at the reception was helpful and nice. The hotel itself is elegant.

The breakfast concept was not explained to us from the start. We had little variety and if you are a vegetarian even worse. The sunbeds at the pool were always reserved even though this was against the rules. In 8 days we found beds twice only. The air-conditioning in the room was very loud and broken. We could also hear people from other rooms partying at times. The staff at the pool bar was poorly trained and had no knowledge of cocktail making. The pillows in the room were so soft barely usable. Overall it was not worth the money.

Great location right by the beach, with a stunning view from the hotel. Rooms are spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. The staff was friendly and even surprised us with a free upgrade to a better room. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the à la carte menu was excellent. Highly recommended!

The beach area was packed away while we were staying there so no bar, sun loungers or cabanas and the only place to sit was by the pool

All of the staff were amazing. The style and decor of the Maestral is stunning, and Brela is a beautiful and peaceful location to unwind in.

Perfect location, clean sea, pretty small and beautiful hotel with beach access and beach club. Hotel is newly renovated and beautiful decorated. High quality furniture and nice view from room that have view to sea. Beds are comfortable and good to sleep on. Rooms are tidy. Breakfast is very tasty and variety of food is good. Everything is mostly hand made in hotel. Pool bar has good offer of cocktails and drinks. Service is good and very polite.

Hotel room doors are slamming and have no stopper so it is very loud when people are leaving or entering rooms. This can be very annoying as sound is very loud and we were awake every morning at 7 am. This is something that can be fixed as this is no go for me on holidays. We were staying in another Blue Sun hotel and they had same issue. Guests were complaining about it.

Beautiful location just off the beach lovely pool very extensive breakfast with attentive staff. Tasty snack lunch options.

The warm welcome and ongoing support from the staff, the food, the room and balcony, location was perfect!

The transportation on bus was quite the issue. The staff is aware the bus drops you in the middle of no where so perhaps a service for pick up for hotel guests would be ideal

The hotel itself and the rooms were nice enough as well as the staff.

The room smelt of sewage every night from 2am until the morning. One night, the smell was so bad it woke me up at 4am. Moreover, despite requesting a quiet room where cleaners etc wouldn't start early so I could have a lie in, as not all of us like getting up at 6am on hol to reserve deckchairs, the cleaners started between 8 and 8.30am every day making it impossible to sleep or get any rest if I went out later at night. The doors of the rooms were really loud as well, and people were constantly banging them shut as they left their rooms. Lastly, the bit of the hotel that was closer to the beach that had deckchairs was not included in the price, which is an utter piss take as it is an expensive hotel. This was not made clear anywhere before booking. For 1 umbrella and 2 deckchairs, it would cost you 60 euros a day. Only the deckchairs by the pool were free. Therefore, in the end, I had to take towels down to the beach and slum in on the pebbles with everyone else. Definitely didn't need the premium price tag for that, I could have stayed in any apartment for that privilege! Overall, not great value for money.

Nice breakfast, friendly staff, very good location and beautiful design of the rooms.

The parking is 8€/day but yet it was very difficult to find a free parking spot, as non-clients are also able to access the parking.The clients must also pay the sunbeds which are closer to the beach. It would have been nice to have a more friendly regime for the clients.

The hotel was so clean and the staff was amazing. Location was great. Steps to all the beaches. Spa was fantastic as well.

That no free water was provided to my room daily. Most hotels offer this.

The pool area and beach is very nice. Breakfast is great. The hotel in itself is modern and nice, you can tell it was renovated which is great.

There is a beach club “Maestral beach club” which is part of the hotel yet you have to pay to access it even if you are a hotel customer. 20€ for a sun bed and parasol… that was a bit disappointing

This place deserves 10/10. The staff is friendly and service-minded. The rooms are really nice and clean, as well as all the other common areas. Breakfast was delicious (and they had a real honeycomb!). The gym was simple, but well-equipped.

There is not much to say. The sundbends were a bit overpriced.
