About
In the heart of the pretty, historic, little village of Erice, this charming hotel enjoys fantastic views of the Mediterranean coast from Bonagia to San Vito lo Capo. Erice is an ancient medieval town, set on a mountain-top; 2,460 ft above sea-level. The village’s historic center and the main piazza are just a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The idyllic setting and the hotel’s beautiful, tranquil garden make the hotel a great choice for a relaxing restorative break. In the evenings you can enjoy the views from the terrace before sampling traditional home-style Sicilian cooking, made using fresh, local products.

Pros +
- Great staff, wonderful view.
- Amazing views over the valley, great breakfast.
- The view was great. but only after we asked to be upgraded. First room was small, dark and looking into the courtyard.
Cons -
- Fairly basic but good value!
- First day they served cheese at b'fast. Second morning they did not. We were told that the first day there were "Americans". Very discriminatory and stingy... Doors were dificult to shut, making terrible noises with echoes. Killed 7 mosquitoes the first night and slept only a few hours. The second night slept with windows shut but gasping for air. Needs mosquito nets.
- Room is for sleeping, you're not going to spend long here, if you want to hang around, there are sitting areas and balconies. That being said, the size of the room is small, and the bed could be more comfortable and more pillows given. Not a large compliant at all.

The Location of this hotel is perfect - close to old town and the rooms with balconies have the incredible view of the Valley. Staff was very helpful and friendly helping us navigate through the city and providing recommendation on dining. Good value for money you pay.
The view is incredible, the staff is wonderful, breakfast was nice. The room for the cost is reasonable, it is a safe place to stay for the evening and sleep. Really loved our stay and would definitely stay again. We were worried we weren't going to have anywhere to park, and when we arrived the host came out to greet us and explain. There is a private parking area and we were very appreciative.

The view is amazing if your on the right side. Wow!!! I will post pictures! This is up in the mountains in a medieval charm. If walking from bus station it is a little difficult. Just be aware of that .
No AC but I kept balcony doors open all night and they did have a fan. So not too bad. It was kinda nice no mosquitos in mountains. Simple single bed room could be upgraded.
The amazing view from our bedroom balcony, parking was (luckily) on site!
The bed wasn't the greatest, The toilet never really took away anything, no air conditioning, odd electrical faults. But even with all these things the value was 100% for the money you pay. If they fixed the stuff to a higher standard you'd end up paying much much more!
Very nice hotel with great views. Salvatore at the front desk was great help & provided good information about the area, suggestions about good restaurants & helped us locate a parking spot. We appreciate Salvatore’s support. Nice room with magical view. Good WiFi.
Coffee didn’t meet Italian standards at bkfst. Simple continental bkfst but didn’t expect more.
The breakfast was excellent and the view from our room looking down into the valley was fantastic! The staff were helpful and friendly.
We stayed at this hotel, and I must say, the experience was absolutely amazing. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the breathtaking view . Waking up to the stunning scenery every morning truly made our stay special. Thanks go to all the staff, especially Salvatore, for making our stay so memorable. Your kindness and excellent service truly made a difference!
We upgraded on arrival for a room with a view and it was spectacular: mountains and sea; even when clouds and fog rolled in it was an interesting view. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of pastries and breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, juice, coffee, and tea. The location is at the edge of town away from the main shopping/restaurant zone, so it was very quiet. (Erice is very small, so it was still a short, if easily confusing, walk to restaurants.) Convenient parking at the hotel for the mostly pedestrian-only town.
The view from the hotel balcony is incredible, very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. Giovanni at front desk very helpful and friendly, helped us with the parking.
Difficult to find, but Giovanni helped us. Other staff were average.
Amazing view. Worth to visit. Parking of hotel was tight, but we could fit our small car there.Breakfast was okay. I wouldn't recommend for elderly people or someone with stroller/disabilities.
No elevator.
Location and view are the reasons why we returned to this hotel after 5 years.
Flies.
The property provided exactly what I wanted, a room with a beautiful view! I read reviews saying that the furniture was ‘out of date’ and truthfully that sway me based on the views from the property. Everything seemed to be in good working order so no complaints about that. The property is older but there is so much character in that. We only stayed one night in town. I had a little difficulty finding the property as it is down a hill from the main road based on its address. There is a small parking lot for the hotel. Town parking was free since we were there after the main season so we just parked in the town lot next to the church.
The mattress was uncomfortable, perhaps new mattresses. Thin and uncomfortable mattresses seem to be a European thing though.
We had requested a room with the view and were not disappointed. The view was spectacular and we loved Erice. the hotel was hard to find (hidden behind or in front of the church), but other than that, our stay was perfect.
Perfect place to stay in Erice - breathtaking view.
Very aggressive cleaning detergents - its smell very strong. People with allergy may have problems with breathing.
The View
No Aircon.Uncomfortable bed made of two singles pushed together.
Location. Points of interest were only few minutes away.
Got it was luxurious hotel with great panorama in its hey days. Now turned into BB with things of the past. Cold breakfast except for the good hot cappuccino.
Loved the stunning view and great location with free parking right out the front and delicious breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and very helpful!
