    Pros +

    • It was a nice location right on the beach
    • The location, beach was across the street
    • Location and staff

    Cons -

    • The balcony was very small and the view was interrupted by big pilot cables. The room was very small also and the beds were rock hard and the slats fell apart and my husband fell through several times. The toilet seat fell off on the first day and no one replaced it and it was generally grubby looking everywhere. Some lights didn’t work and the fridge was balanced precariously on a board on top of a table. The maids came late or not at all and we ran out of toilet roll or clean towels on a couple of occasions. I also didn’t like that you had to pay €20 a day to use the sun beds.
    • Where to start....The hotel is old and needs some serious renovation. If it was old but clean, it would be ok, but it was very dirty. The bathroom was the worst, don't know when was the last time that the tiles were cleaned. The bathroom did not have a single shelf or a hook to hang the clothes. The room had a spider web and a lot of dirt and dust especially in the corners. The room had a wardrobe but apart from that not even a single hook or shelf to put the stuff on. The beds were very uncomfortable. The very old aircondition unit was so rusty that it was leaking water everytime we turned it on. It was located directly above the balcony door so whenever we wanted to get outside we had the water dripping on us. Breakfast was a disaster. Flies sitting on food because it was not covered. When we asked the working lady why is that, she explained that they use spray for flies...the most ridiculous explanation..as if that was supposed to stop flies from coming inside especially through open windows and door...

The room was nice and clean. Ladies in the restaurant were very helpful and they were willing to cook us whatever we wanted for breakfast.

The beds were a bit hard.

The place had a good location really right on the beach.

It was a super small room. You have to pay extra if you want to sit down on the sunbeds belonging to the hotel.

Breakfast was very good with home made stuff. Location is excellent - across the beach and minutes from the canter of the village with all restaurants and bars. Bus station to Corfu Town is 1 min away. Excellent location.

Parking on entire island of Corfu is tricky to find. I didn't have any issues with the parking, but could be tricky. Overall parking in Benitses is better then at the most parts of this beautiful island.

Staff was great, location great - beachfront. Breakfast variable. Free parking.

Water temperature and pressure changed during showering. 2 times water stopped for a few minutes while showeing. Narrow road for free parking, only for small cars accessible.

Amazing staff, very friendly and always ready to help. Hotel is very close to the sea. We had a nice balcony with sea view. All the necessary shops are close. As well as a bus stop. Nice dinner.

If you want to use an umbrella on the beach you have to pay 10 euros each day when you go there, but you get fruits and water bottles for that as well

Very stylish and clean room. The central beach is a few steps from hotel, very good location! On the first floor is a restaurant which served tasty Greek dishes! I love this place and recommend to all!!!

    Everything was great!

the location only and the clearness in the rooms

First of all, I would start with the fact that they do not have the possibility of withdrawing money from the card with the reasoning that they are trying to resolve the problem. But that problem lasts longer, so the guests are forced to pay in cash.Regarding the rooms, you can say that it was clean. They changed towels every day. However, the room was so small and there was no additional space where personal belongings could be left. The breakfast is not really worth the money. The first days there were not many guests in the hotel and the breakfast was really poor. Tomato, cucumber, bread, cheese and extra bread stuffed with something inside. We had the same breakfast for 3 days. On the fourth day, the number of guests began to increase and the breakfast was richer. But not much. The next day, he had what was left of the previous day. There was no choice of fruit. The breakfast was extremely unprofessional, and the food was in limited quantity, so if the guests came for breakfast later, they had nothing to eat except tomato, cucumber and bread. We paid the same price for breakfast every day, but the breakfast was not of the same quality and depended on what time we had the breakfast.I do not recommend this place to stay. The only thing worth it is the location.

the view, the simplicity, the access to air con and fridge in the room.

no soap stand on the shower..

Riviera Hotel was incredible. Maria made the experience amazing and such a memorable holiday, she is an excellent chef and is so caring and generous. The location is fabulous and just across the road from the beach. We loved every minute but it was mainly down to Maria’s incredible hospitality!!!

    Not professional

Hotel was overbooked and we were sent in another one far away from Benitses, which was not nice and far from everythingEven food was bad ( but offered as compensation)

The place have a great view, and nice localization.

I don't find nobody on reception i call a lot of times but nobody answering. After 20 minutes really nice man, but doesn't speak in English, give me a keys, but he doesn't talk about Breakfast or rules. The room and bathroom is a dirty, with mud on the floor and somebody hair. I ask about change my towels, the women say yes but wasn't do that.

    Easy to find, central

Not good reception, bathroom poor, toilet dirty and broken. Not good

Friendly staff. Great view. Good location, bus stop nearby.

Very uncomfortable bed, had to change room. No card payment possible so had to go to cash machine and pay a charge for using card. Also had to pay city tax which was advertised as being included in the total price. Problems with wifi, stopped working second day and showed a message saying I had to pay the bill. Resolved on contacting manager at alternative proprty 15 min walk away but flaky throughout the stay (8 days). Ran out of breakfast one day, all eaten by other guests. Other days left uncovered. Had to ask for room to be serviced and waste bin in toilet emptied (if you've been to Greece before you don't put toilet paper down the toilet). Broken toilet seat, asked 4 days for it to be fixed but not. Toilet also stopped flushing one day and the was a leak from it. Unpredictable shower temperature. No hand sanitiser. Ceiling rose hanging down. Shelf in shower hanging down.

Location of the hotel is very good. You need just to cross the streat and you are on the beach. It is also closed to Benitses center were you can find nice tavern to eat. Close to the hotel you can find as well rental car services and smal shops with souvenirs.

At arrival hotel request a room tax that we were obliged to pay at the reception. This tax is not mentioned anywhere on booking profile of the hotel. We booked a double room that was supposed to have a sew view( at least this was showing from the booking pictures that are attached to the room gallery), but instead the hotel wanted to give us a double room with the view to the wall of the next hotel that was one meter away from the window. After we talk with 3 different employees of the hotel other the phone they gave us a room at the next floor and we had a view to the roof of the next hotel and not to its wall. They literally tried rui our begining of the holidays...Hotel stuff was very rude when I request to give us the room that was on the pictures from booking. They even said the phrase "what do you expect for this money!?" and "we don't have double rooms with the sea view" even though I send them the a print screen from booking with the pictures of a double room with the sea view. Lady that talk to me first said that this is not the first case when this kind of confusion is happening an customers are complaining. Related to the breakfast: 1 day we ate at the tables from the terrace but next days the madam from the hotel obliged us to eat inside, on the tables without covers because outside at the terrace tables are cleaned and prepared for the clients outside the hotel but I never saw anybody outside the hotel to sit there, just some other customers from the hotel so I don't know what was the real reason of not allowing us to eat as normal people to the terrace.. maybe because the brackfast was included in the room price but that was the hotel offer and not personal choice of not paying extra for their poor quality breakfast. So overall hotel has a good location but stuff atitude is the worst that I have seen until now...

Location close to restaurants & bars & room good. Fridge in room, kettle (no mugs/spoons only 3 glasses. Didn't bother us as didn't have any tea/coffee etc with us).Great to have air con.

By a busy road so dependant on room location could be noisy.

Upon arrival, the owner did not receive too kindly. When he showed me the room, I indicated that we did not book this, we asked for a double room with a sea view location. When I said that, he shrugged that it was, the hostel was full and went out. He wasn't helpful, he didn't listen to us. We got a room overlooking a concrete wall with two single dilapidated beds. We didn't eat the breakfast, which was included in the price, we left in the morning ...We are not satisfied. In the morning I wrote a letter to the owner, in which we indicated our dislike again, but the gentleman has not replied to it since ....
