How friendly the staff were and the cleanliness of the hotel. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

That there was no swimming pool but on the photos when I booked it showed a swimming pool. I went back on to booking.com to check and photos were totally different.

Very good location, very clean and a lovely beach

It is slightly basic, if staying for more than a few days I understand why you would be underwhelmed

The furniture wasn’t the newest and it was missing hangers in a room. Having more of them would be nicer. The beach was beautiful but the chairs in the beach were all broken, sunshades were flying away, you had to set it up all yourself

Room is not too big for 4person, but clean and has sea view so good for money. Breakfast is so good, staff is so nice and helpful. Benitses is good place to explore the island

Not too big, can be hard for longer stay

The worst stay I ever had. The hotel is no way 4 starts. I paid around 160€ per night, it should be 40€ to be acceptable in terms of services, quality of rooms etc. Maybe this hotel should be 1 or 2 stars by far.

They advertise it as 4 stars while you see the rooms are dirty, very old with super wear. Air condition units are barely working. Very old fridges who are also super noisy. Very uncomfortable beds, you can hear the people moving at night in the rooms up and next to you and super old pillows, when I requested for extra they interrogated me asking how are the pillows and wanted to visit the room to view the pillows, saying all their pillows are like that: There is a lot of wear in the bathroom and it smells, also the shower is semi-clogged, it takes 10 min to empty when you take a shower. The hotel offers nothing apart from towels for the bathroom. Not even a shower gel nothing at all. Not even a coffee or a tea. Even in two star hotels they offer a coffee. The breakfast is very limited. The fruits and vegetables are not fresh, how can you go wrong with fruits and vegetables in Greece, yes in this hotel you can go wrong. They probably cut large portions and leave them on the fridge for days. I am really disappointed as there were much better options for less money but I wanted at least a 4 stars stay, as I said this hotel should be 1 star, maybe it was 4 star 60 years ago. The correct pricing for this unit should be 40 euros. You can find way better units for 50 or 60 euros. I am disappointed from my stay. I would never visit this place again.

Hotel is on a very good location, not too crowded but only a 30 minutes bus ride to Corfu town. Room was very clean, staff suuuper nice, there is a nice private beach and food in the restaurant is very good and nit expensive! And sunrise from the balcony - gorgeous!

Loved the hotel. Perfect position for us in quiet area right on the beach with lots of free sunbeds and umbrellas. 10 mins walk into centre of Benitses along a busy little road. Supermarket within 100 metres. Staff were alll very pleasant and helpful. Took local bus (air conditioned no 6) into beautiful Corfu town. Bus stop within a few metres of hotel. Lovely breakfast for a 3 star hotel. Lots of different fresh fruit with yoghurt, fresh bread and jams, cheese ham salad and bacon,eggs,mushroom tomatoes and more. Breakfast could be taken on the hotel terrace overlooking the sea. Weather was very hot but effective air conditioning in the room. Rooms were slightly dated but being refurbished. Bedding and towels were changed every day. Kettle and fridge in the room. All rooms overlooking the sea all with balconies with table and chairs. We loved Benitses. It was unspoilt and traditional. Few empty properties near beach but did not detract from the place. Nice interesting harbour with sailing boats. Many tavernas throughout town. Loved the meals. Average price between 10 and 15 euros per meal. Loved the local wines which were very cheap. Cocktails on the beach. Would return to this hotel and Benitses in a heartbeat ?

Good location, directly on the beach. Food was good, even better than expected. Free sunbeds and umbrela.

Not hotel issue, but fishes are very aggressive in the water, biting for feet all the time.

Service levels and poor food quality

This was, in fact, our fourth weekend stay in this hotel, which says a lot in itself. On our first visit, we were bowled over by the location - right on the beach - and the grandstand view of the sunrise which has never failed to delight us every day we have stayed there. The rooms are adequate but do really need upgrading and some are more in need of this than others. The breakfasts are fine for a three-star hotel and there is a lovely breakfast area outside with the beautiful sea view and an inside area for bad weather. Staff have always been very helpful. This time, we had particularly requested a room on the second floor as, in our experience, the rooms we have stayed in there have been better both to look at and in terms of cleanliness than the ones lower down. The receptionist managed to get us checked into our room as early as possible and earlier than the normal check-in time, as per our second request, which we appreciated very much. The room was clean and looked as if it had been repainted fairly recently and the rather elderly furniture and cupboards cleaned up and made presentable. We knew what to expect and we knew the area and had a really lovely time.

The fridge and air conditioning were old and not in good condition - just about functional but basically in need of replacement. However, we coped well enough, and these details did not detract from our enjoyment of the environment generally. The lever-operated plug in the wash basin was broken but, again, we weren't massively inconvenienced by this. We were used to small inconveniences from previous visits but the beds were comfortable and the overall effect was pleasant. The only thing that we didn't like this time was that cleaning staff came in while we were at breakfast and just emptied the bins and removed the sheets and covers we had put on the bed and roughly twisted the top sheets on top of rumpled sheets. Not very impressive!

Avoid at all costs

They sell rooms on booking like their spa is open with even pictures of it but when you get there they say its closed. I booked this hotel cause they had a jacuzzi and found myself in that situation. Everything is cheap and old. Worst beds we ever tried and uneven being one higher than the other. (We could feel the metal Springs) When they clean, the floor smells worse than if they don't so we prefered them not to "clean" our room. Cleaners left a hair elastic band on our room that wasnt ours?The bedsheets felt like carton and the pillows are horrible. The noise from the road is so loud, the fridge was broken and rusted same as the toilet. The sink full of hair since the day of our arrival. The air conditioner loosing water and leaving the toilett full of water. Also it was very old and noisy, stained to the point that it turned brown. Before staying at this place, we were in a 2 star hotel in Acharavi and it was 1000 times better. We were making fun of the hotel and whoever had the braveness of claiming on having 4 stars. We liked our stay there. The location was great. The hotel has its own beach and also it is close to the bus stop (Bus #6). You can easily go to the Old city or airport from there. The maids cleaned our room every day. The food was good, enough options to choose from. The staff was exceptional, very friendly and nice. The receptionists Yana and Jenny were polite and ready to help 24/7. If you want to travel around Corfu, take a boat or bus trip- Jenny is a true expert who will advise you best options based on your preferences and budget. We wanted to be close to the sea and enjoy the sea view every day, so the hotel met our expectactions in this sense.

Filter coffee. Some people smoked a lot. Should be a separate area for people who smoke.We paid municipal tax fee separately. It was not included in the price that we paid through booking com.

the city so close with so many restaurants and supermarkets - we really enjoyed the location at the end of this villageexceptionally good room service - day by day . high adaption to guests comfortyou can reach all corners of the island by rental car quit easily

The heavily trafficked road directly in front of the hotel.This is a security topic. no sidewalk - when dark and rainy esp. cars/buses/trucks drive much to fast - cars additionally par where they like to ....

the location is amazing, right on the beach, you could see the sunset laying in bed. clear waters, free sunsbeds and umbrellas. the breakfast was really tasty. the staff at the reception was super super nice and recommended us places to go and cooperated well with us. lot of parking space. air conditioning working well as well as the water in the shower. also the view from the restaurant is amazing.

you can see that the hotel is old and the furniture is used especially in the bathroom. the bathrooms might need some renovation.
