The new adults only area is a nice bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff

Fone in room didn't work, bidet was broken, toilet cistern had only 1 usable function. Food could have been a lot hotter at all meals, definitely more than 2 toasters given the number of people. Need to sort out the sunbed situation, people were going b4 7am to put towels out, no one enforces the 10am rule. Sunbeds in the adults only area really need looking at, there were so many unusable because of various breakages.

Beautiful hotel, really lovely staff, spotlessly clean, beautiful pool area and private adult area with sunloungers close to seafront with cooling breeze.Lovely warm welcome when we arrived, the man who checked us in was so friendly, i cant remember his name but his wife is Irish, i complimented him on the survey we filled out while at the hotel.Our flight was delayed so I notified the hotel & the kept two plates of food for us in the dining after end of meal service. Very welcome after a long day travelling, that and the lovely glass of Cava.Huge comfy beds, large bedroom & daily cleaning service if we wanted it. Plenty parking for our hire car.Food was lovely, the deserts and pastries were all home made & delicious. I saw the pastry chef come out many times to make sure everything was still well presented & replenished long before plates were emptyAlso like to thank the lady who came out from behind reception one night to take a photo of my husband and I together when she saw us taking photos of each other. Lovely to have a nice holiday photo that's not a badly taken selfie. I would highly recommend Hotel Sara Elba

I gave a 9 only because there isn't an option for 9.5 or nearer to 10.....My one complaint was the quality of the cutlery. The knives were sooooo blunt they wouldn't cut the most tender of meats or vegetables, not even sausages. Food was constantly landing on the table off our plates when trying to cut & I saw the same happening all around me at other tables. I often left meat on my plate, as did my husband, purely because my knife wouldnt cut it...and i HATE food waste, it annoyed me.Surely replacing old knives can't be a huge expense for a hotel. It was the one single fault with an otherwise fabulous hotel.

Friendly helpful staff, communal areas spacious and clean and nice pool with plenty of sunbeds and different areas to sit. Close to a beach and a handy shopping centre. Great for families. Reasonably priced. We were upgraded to a huge suite with a massive terrace for no extra charge.

Bedrooms are tired and dated (though I understand some are in the process of being refurbished?), our bathroom had certainly seen better days. The food was plentiful and lots of choice but very average and nowhere to sit and eat outside, and the Italian restaurant was closed. Very loud pool activities every couple of hours throughout the day and the hotel is right under the flight path, so if you're looking for a quiet couples break then this isn't for you.

It was our second time staying at this lovely hotel that is situated at the quieter end of the resort. The accommodation and very helpful staff met all of our requirements.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location. Was upgraded to a suite, which was amazing. Some staff were miserable but most were great. The staff at the lobby bar were amazing.

The buffet restaurant, especially for the evening meal was like a canteen and it would have been nicer to have table service. The entertainment in the broadway bar was fine but it would have been nice to have music playing afterwards until closing time so people could dance without the staff dictating the moves.

Very nice room and sea view, pool areas had space for all types of sunbathing. Food was nice and the staff in all departments were very friendly and professional. Nothing was a problem for them.

Nothing really, a well ran hotel

Friend staff, Location, comfy beds, good quality buffet food.

Broken showers, tired bathrooms, everything required a deposit, towels, irons etc. people smoking on balconies made our room smell.Taxis are unreliable even when booked in advance.

Upgraded to larger room

The bathroom is dated, spa shower cubicle needs replacing , smells and marked. Some sun beds should be stacked too many out would look better. Glass panel of waterfall is disgusting filthy !

We had a lovely sea view room. The food was fantastic and the pool was wonderful. Can't fault it. We will be back.

The staff were lovely and even upgraded our room. We moved from a hotel which was awful. So this was incredible in comparison. The entertainment was funny, drinks were great, pool area and lobby very clean. The food was great and a good selection.

would have been nice to have entertainment running into the late evening. It seemed to end about 10:30. With live music sometimes running later. Maybe this is different in peak season. But that is the only thing we can fault.

Everything was very nice especially the lobby areas and dining experience also the bedrooms were very spacious with terrific views

There was no heated pool or jacuzzi like the Carlota

Staff quite friendly and helpful. Room size quite good and comfortable. Food was ok in quantity and quality but you needed to be to be selective. Access to restaurants easy and with tables easy to get.

At 7.30 AM there was people reserving sun beds in the swimming pool. At 9.00 AM, 90% of the sun beds were reserved and most without occupancy for hours. Swimming pool staff totally passive and not enforcing the displays saying that was forbidden to reserve sun beds. Same passivity about people using swimming pool without respecting others. If you don't drink alcohol do not choose "All Included". It doesn't worth the extra cost.

Lovely location very friendly & helpful staff Lovely accommodation. Had sea view suite
