They are rebuilding loads of this hotel so you are staying in a building site with all the dirt, noise and awkwardness that it brings. Sad we were recommended this by the sister hotel when they knew the state of the hotel. Very pleased to run away after one night (where the power cut out many,many times)

Excellent location, short walk into town centre. The road has no pavement tho and does feel a bit dangerous. Good restaurants close by. Amazing views from top floor restaurant where we had breakfast everyday. Good mango juice. Friendly and helpful staff. Room had a balcony with amazing views.

No mosquito nets. Lots of ants in the bathroom although this probably can't be helped in a tropical country.

The view from the restaurant was great.

The bathroom was full of mold on the walls which was disgusting, the door of the shower wasn't working, no shampoo, and the breakfast wasn't good, we couldn't even drink the coffee.

The cleanliness particularly the bathroom was poor. Mildew present on walls and in shower. Tiles in shower very grimy.

Very Yummy breakfast, customised to our taste by the chef. When I said I don't eat meat, the Chef was very generous and prepared a fish curry and a Sri Lankan meal with curries and string hoppers for us. The food was fantastic, and the service of the staff at breakfast was very good. Venue Manager Chadra was very helpful with a caring manner. Excellent welcome, the manager assisted us with all our holiday requirements in Ella.

Only the terrace and the breakfast are very good. The staff is kind.

The rooms are dirty, full of mold, And there is a strong smell of humidity.

The location was great and the view from the rooftop was fantastic.

The room we were assigned was the family delux room ( 103 ) AVOID THIS ROOM DO NOT BOOK !!! It was dirty and it felt like a prison cell . The small balcony was enclosed with metal bars and facing the side of an ally .

Good location with beautiful views from the balcony looking towards Ella Peak. The complimentary drink upon arrival was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful in assisting with our onward travel. Very nice breakfast on the top floor dining area.

Great Rooms, comfortable and clean. Staff were excellent and attentive, For breakfast they provided fresh fruit, eggs, toast and jam.Views for the hotel are amazing Ordered some room service meals which were tasty5min walk (along the main road) to Ella town.

Room service did take ages and didn't always have what we wanted. Its a old hotel and there are so many stairs and no lift.

The view from this hotel was absolutely stunning and definitely the highlight of our stay. However, the price seemed a bit steep, likely due to the scenic location. The breakfast served was excellent, with a variety of delicious options to start the day.The hotel is about a 10 mins walk from the main part of Ella but the walk is easy to do!A special mention goes to the staff, who were exceptionally accommodating and attentive to our needs. The best +++ !Shout out to our friend Eranga!

Shower could use a bit of maintenance..

Super view and good location. Just couple minutes to main street. Friendly and helpful staff. Tuktuk 5 min to little Adam’s peak and 14 minutes to Ella rock trail. Good breakfast.

The View, the breakfast and the service

No lock on balcony door.

Very good location - quiet surroundings, a short walk from the lively center of Ella. A good breakfast is served from the terrace with a great view.

The hotel towels definitely need to be replaced - even though they were washed, they didn't look clean anymore.

Superb view from balcony and from top floor restaurant. Staff were all superb / really helpful and friendly and keen to chat.Food was great.They also set up a live premier league match for us on the large screen in restaurant.Shower was very good.

Walk into town was short but along the main road. Not a huge problem for us but worth mentioning.

Location, breakfast,view, wonderful staff.

It would have been nice to have few rooms on the ground level. Difficult to climb steps for a mobility challenged person.

This property is in a great location just a few minutes walk into town. The view from the terrace is amazing, and also from the room if you have a mountain facing room. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made everything with our stay so easy. Special thanks to Charuka! Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Ella.
