Hotel Alpina

Great value for price. Very central, but quiet location. So many great choices at the breakfast buffet. Very clean and cozy room. And last but not least the nicest staff (espc. Elsbeth). Highly recommend.

I really liked the location being a short walk from the center of town which made sure it was quiet and convenient too. The host was very friendly and was able to help us on a number of needs.

Although I did not speak German the host and I were able to communicate and she went out of her way to make our stay on the front and back end of doing the UTMR a wonderful experience. It is really close to the city center and far enough to be quiet.

Well located within easy walk to the center but in a quiet spot. Very large room with balcony. Generous and diverse breakfast.

I could not seat everywhere when I arrived for breakfast. forced to use the table already used by someone else. very bad thing. 2023Aug20

Everything was great, the staff was very friendly and they made it possible for a very late check-in.Room is big enough, have everything you need and the breakfeast is good. I would definitely come back.

We did not know that the movement of cars in your city is severely restricted. We caught an extremely narrow road where it was impossible to go back and there was a 5 cm fence and a retaining wall on the other side. this was really scary. We would be happy if you send us parking information in advance.

Location, it's very beautiful place and location around, right in the middle of mountains and not far from zermatt. however their is steep elevation of 9-10km to reach hotel.

Its bit hard to reach hotel, location is missing from google maps, you must use coordinates and walk towards an elevated place leaving your car in parking which might be 100-200m away. additionally, breakfast selection could be better.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They really care for their guests and kindly helped us with storing our luggage for a day. The breakfast buffet is very good as well.

Excellent place with very nice hosts. My friend and I asked to keep some of our stuff at the hotel while we were out on a two-day hike. This was no issue and the staff was very accommodating.

Breakfast was splendid. Room large. Kid's playroom amazing! Staff super friendly!! Will be back :)

the location is very good - center of the village - park your car in any collecting parking and the hotel will send the electrical car to help you with your baggage. staff was amazing - super helpful, family room was big, nice view, quite, breakfast met our expectations as a family of 5 :) and the croissants are SUPER good! huge benefit is a common room, which is PERFECT for kids of all age - incl.video games! we were very happy and we keep recommending this place to all our friends. and all this during COVID period.

Very good central location, help offered with luggage from the car park to the hotel. Very good breakfast was served.

Nice breakfast, large family room with separate space for the kids. Communal room where we could eat takeaway food (restaurants closed for covid). Ski room near to the lift.

Pillows not very comfy, not possible to get a booking in the sister hotel's restaurant.
