The pools were very clean and perfect for kids with different depths for all ages. The pool bars played great music and the drinks were delicious. The buffet breakfast was also good. The location is wonderful with many walkable restaurants and super markets and just a short bus ride to Chania.

There is a fee for pool towels which is not refunded when you turn them in. There is also a fee for beach chairs. We were disappointed these weren’t included with our stay.

Really good location. A stones throw from the very nice beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel facilities were as expected. Breakfast got busy (as you would expect given the time of year) but the staff did manage to keep on top of keeping the buffet options populated. If anything did run out they we quick to replace it when asked.We only used the front pool and found that to be large enough to accommodate the guests. It did get a little busy at times but there was still space to have a small swim or play games with family.The apartment we were initially given was not what we expected but after speaking to reception they happily gave us a different apartment after one night, when it became available. The new apartment was very good and plenty big enough for a family of 4, including two teenagers.

The apartment we were originally provided with was split on two floors with the double bed upstairs. The stairs to the upstairs room were very steep and the room was incredibly hot, even with the air-conditioning on. The room downstairs felt very narrow and a bit cramped. These types of rooms are not mentioned or pictured on booking.com nor the hotels website. However, as mentioned, the hotel were happy to move us to a different apartment on a single floor as soon as one became available.

Great breakfast with good variety to suit various nationalities. Nice large room with balcony and air con, lovely swimming pools. We were not disturbed at all by noise from the other guests. The staff were very friendly and polite and efficient. Excellent location just across the road from the sea, near plenty of restaurants. 20 min drive to Chania old town and a little more to the airport.

The cocktails at the bar and the coffee at breakfast were a bit disappointing. There didn't seem to be enough deck chairs at the main pool - or the guests kept them constantly 'reserved' with their towels. That was a shame, but probably reflects more on the selfishness of guests than the hotel itself. The bathroom was a little tired but perfectly adequate. I couldn't adjust the aircon to a good temperature (but maybe that was just me) so at night I was too hot without it, but a little chilly with it on. However, in all we were extremely happy and these are tiny little grumbles

I loved the pool, and the hotel apartments was Nice. I love the music and shows at nigth. Love the happy hours. Some of the staff were really Nice. The guys that usually work at night in the pool bar was the main reason to why it was nice to stay here. (I’m talking about the guy that brings fresh mint leaves and the young guy that works in the bar with him) you should really tell them they are doing a good job. everyone seems to love them! greetings from the girl and boy who wanted them to make a cranberry mojito. The hotel needs to keep them forever! tell them to keep up the good work they are doing. if it wasn't for the two of them we wouldn't have enjoyed our stay at all but because they were so kind they made our stay very good. they should have been promoted!! the man who sits at the reception at night is also very nice.The store stalos market, is the best. LOVE the owners!!!! They Are the nicest person you’ll ever see!!

the pool was TOO COLD! the pool was not cooling it was freezing. there were also many animals outside our room. probably 200 beetles crawling around on the floor and on the walls. there was a crack between the door and the floor so some of the beetles entered the room. when we opened the cupboard door where the kitchen was there was a large centipede crawling out. there were also insects on the ceiling in the bathroom. I also didn't like the lady who works in the pool bar during the day. she has black and blue short hair. she always looked at us badly and answered us in a rude way. we tried to be nice to her the whole time but she was super rude even though we hadn't done her. someone should have a chat with her and teach her how to work with customers. I myself work in a clothes shop, never met anyone who was angrier than her. I don't think I saw her smile once during my stay. we actually stayed at the veli hotel over the street, but we wanted to try 2 days at the creta palm because it looked much nicer and we like typical tourist places. we paid quite a lot of money for 2 days. hotel veli is a 2 star hotel, we were looking forward to coming back to veli because it was much cleaner there, not a single insect, and there is a person who cleans all the rooms at veli. as I said, had it not been for the two men in the pool bar who were kind, in the evening we would have checked out again right away. almost no one swam in the pool because everyone complained that it was too cold. when you go swimming, it's always cold at the start when you get out, but in this pool it didn't get any better the longer you were in it. The beach was Much nicer!

Dinner options dissapointing.

Nice area with pools and plants. Big balcony, good bed, fridge, Coffeemachine in studio, really kind staff helping with anything (car rental, room chanching) good cleaning every day. Coffeemachine in breakfast.

Bathroom doors have water damage in downside. Breakfast was same every morning and juices didnt taste good.I think that bedsheets and towels chanching every day is too much, its nice but not ecolocical.

Pool and bar areas were amazing with friendly helpful staff. The location was also awesome, lots in walking distance.

Crossing the road could be a bit tricky at times.

Breakfast was varied and good - lots of choice. Coffee was good too. Great start to the day. Having a bar next to the pool was also very good.

Evening meal was buffet which was ok, but there was better food outside in the numerous restaurants. Shame as it would have been nice to have a chance to try the resort food more.

Staff were outstanding. Friendly, helpful and hardworking. The cleaning staff were amazing. Hotel and accommodation were spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Would have loved softer beds, and a kettle with tea making facilities (not just coffee) in rooms. Rooms were smaller than appeared in the photograph, but were OK. Dinner buffet could have been better. One child couldn't find anything to eat there which meant eating out more often than not, depsite paying half board. Maybe some kid friendly food could have been an option e.g. pizza, chicken nuggets etc but were not offered.

A little far from Chania centre. Not much choice for food especially vegetarian. Could extend times for food.

Overall value for money was excellent. We take breakfast only. Ordered the car rent trough the hotel for reasonable price and also were able to leave the car at another hotel (we split the vacation).The prices in the pool bar are ok. We were in bars nearby, the cocktails were even more expensive there. The room was clean and big, a lot of space. The breakfast was basic but very good, including fruits and vegetables.

I didn't like to pay for beach towels. 3 euro per towel for two days. The second thing was the absolute abcense of tea, coffee and sugar in the room. There is kitchenette, but no ability to make tea. The staff said that we can take tea bags from the restaurant. But why?
