Bogmallo Beach Resort

Near airport. Quiet, personal beach. Dining area is unique.

There is a plumbing door outside Room 201, which remains open and smells very bad. The reception staff could look more professional in uniform. Sometimes there were several of them at the counter, but we could not tell which one of them was in charge.

The location was great. Right on the beach. We were there during the end of the monsoon season, but the hotel was full. The buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner was delicious. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Orginally booked the chalet room, which you had to walk through the restaurant to get to. Thought that was strange. Looks like they are upgrading the chalet. We were moved to room in the main hotel.

The facility is beautiful and very well maintained. The pool and beach area are very pleasant. The pool is clean and large enough to swim laps. I appreciated the fact that after finding many used tissues in the basket, an extra pack of clean tissues was pleaced near my bed.

Breakfast was (only) ok (but the dishes we ordered in the lunch menu were excellent).

Rooms were very good. The shower was super good.

Food buffet could ve been better.

The food is excellent—all meals. The hotel is in a super location with clean beaches. It is value for money. One of the preferred locations to stay while in Goa.

water from the shower was flowing out till the basin as rubber casket on the door was not there. So the bathroom was full of water once we use the shower. Also the Air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night. It seems a timer was placed. The technician said it was a Mode issue

Staff were very in helpful and it’s a little dated. Beach is beautiful and good location. To expensive as it’s not what you except from a 4 star hotel

The staff on reception was very cooperative - Special thanks to a lady called Shabana on the front desk.

The bed linen could be better

Place. Beach. Sea.

Evening meal poor. Only chapati and dall was good. Potatoes poor. The Coliflower was cold. The wedding music kept us awake until 2-25 in the morning.

Beachfront local bar restaurants

Stayed Feb 2025. WiFi did not work in room. We stayed for 4 nights and in that time there were 2 weddings at the hotel, first wedding held in and around hotel restaurant so closed to guests and even worse the second wedding was out by the pool so whole pool and area closed to hotel guests. The beach had a total of 6 wooden sunbeds so when pool was closed it was really not great. We chose the hotel as convenient to airport and could relax by the pool. Will not be back as expensive and either didn't work or was shut

-no bathroom mat for floor after bath, had to use use hand towels-lobby women's toilet pipe not available (broken)-drinking glass water bottles full of mould and fungus-housekeeping staff very noisy, cannot sleep early mornings-had a late morning due to the loud noise from cleaning staff and had to get an hour extn because sleep was disturbed-buffet price too expensive for only two non veg items-stone found in green sprout salad-can get better hotels for lesser price

Staff were so accommodating, location fab, local bars & restaurants lovely.

A bit pricey....

It was a bit quirky I terms of the furnishings but comfortable. Staff were friendly and offered assistance with ideas on places to go. The cleaning staff and dining room staff were fantastic at providing information about the location and explaining the food choices all of which was very tasty. The view was beautiful and the beach just outside the hotel was clean. Great swims every day. The local taxi driver, Prim, was always very helpful offering information about the locale from a local perspective. Location is relatively good once you find a driver who acts as a tour guide with some excellent suggestions on things to do and see. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. We will be back

Drinks were a little pricey but over all we really enjoyed our stay

Spacious and clean rooms. Nice location with a good view from sea view room. Courteous staff.Our flight was very late at night so they allowed us use of the room for a further 7 hours for half the price of an overnight stay which meant we had full use of the facilities, more or less, until we departed for our flight.

Bumping the drinks prices up when more guests arrived. The handle on the door to patio was fixed backwards/upside down so jammed fingers between handle and door frame numerous times.

Everything was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful sea view. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. The food was delicious and there were lots of options for all tastes. They were great with providing taxis and recommendations for exploring. Staying here was so peaceful and serene.

I think the spa could have felt a little bit nicer but the service was good.

Too many Weddings and the crowd some times are wild

The location is unbeatable. We were in the sea facing chalet and the view was spectacular. However, there is no privacy when sitting outside the room to enjoy the sea and the view. The food at the restaurant as well as breakfast buffet was good.

1. We were in the sea facing chalet. There were people in the rooms next to ours who were loud and wanted to spend their time outside. This prevented me and my husband from enjoying a quiet evening outside. 2. The staff were nice and friendly towards my husband. This is not specific to Bogmallo staff but everywhere we visited in India, my experience universally was that the male staff only believe in wishing the male family member - "good morning sir and how are you sir" to my husband without so much as a glance towards me. Nothing to be done. It is what it is, but it definitely stood out to me as I was visiting India after a very long time. 3. The taxi mafia outside the hotel premises prevented our pre-arranged cab driver from coming to pick us up. 4. The room was ok in size for 2 people but the bathroom was too small, no space to keep toiletries above the bathroom sink. 5. It was a busy time I understand, but when we ordered room service and kept our dishes outside after any meal, it did not get picked up until a day later. In spite of multiple phone calls stating that the birds were going ballistic on the dishes left outside, it took a lot of time for clearing up.

Outstanding wraparound sea views, stunning sunsets. kind and welcoming staff. delicious food -'especially extraordinarily generous New Year's Eve banquet. Beautiful chalet room overlooking the sea and giving privacy and peace. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Location was great.

I had some special requests which they did not comply with. Lift was not working properly. Pool could have been cleaner and needs maintenance during the day as well. Table cloths in breakfast buffet need to be better, they were old and torn. TV in the room needs to be bigger.
