Pool was excellent.

We were in room number 415 and 416. There were bed bugs in the room which might have travelled back with us home. So now need to take special care that they are eliminated.

Clean, good fresh food, very courteous peopleNew wing is good maintained

The restaurant

The room given to us was completely wet from the AC water.Had to change the room.The behaviour of the hotel staff especially the security was very bad.On that day of my check in my luggage which was with the security was taken by another guest to the airport .It took nearly 45 minutes for the luggage to be brought back after I raised a hue and cried.I cried my lungs out because the luggage contained all my jewellery and money for my daughter's wedding the next day..The entrance to the hotel is very bad .Not easily accessible from the main road.

Pool and Beach were Excellent! Value for Money.Food needs major improvement

Food. Breakfast was managable but other meals needs major improvement.

We stayed in 4 hotels whilst in India and this is hands down the worse hotel. We have stayed in over 80 hotels over the past 10 years and this would be in our bottom 3.We were in room 222 which was absolutely disgusting. When we first arrived and they opened the door to our room the smell was of a dirty room. We took our trainers off and walked about in our socks to unpack for 10 minutes and the bottom of our white socks were black with dirt.We stayed there for 6 days. Within the first 2 days we had called about 12 times with different electrical faults in the room. We then went to Mumbai for 2 days and when we came back on day 4 all of our electric faults were still there. The safe kept coming up with error messages. The lights either didn’t go on or when they were on wouldn’t go back off. The sound bar on the tv kept turning itself off and we had to keep resetting it. Then our internet died completely in the room.The bed sheets were satin and filthy. The beds themselves dipped in the middle with clearly so much use. The flooring was all worn away around the edges of the laminate. As we used the phone so often to call reception we noticed it was covered in dirt. The staff were unfriendly. We also found it extremely difficult to communicate with 90% of them as their English was not very good. From all of our telephone calls to reception we must have spoken to 2 people who actually understood what we were saying. It became very frustrating having engineers and staff members keep coming to our room to look at the problem and sending for someone else as they never understood the issue the first time round when explaining on the phone. We travelled around India for 14 days and this was by far the worst hotel for people not speaking English.There are no sun loungers on the beach so if you want a day at the beach you need to lie on your towel.The positives?

The property location is great, as are the green lawns

The hotel is dated. Rooms are very basic. The property isn’t well looked after and there is little attention to detail - the outdoor furniture in our room was covered in filth and bird poo, the curtains in our room couldn’t close. We requested assistance twice - no one bothered to come.

The stay was amazing with exceptional sea view and hospitality. Saddam hosted us and upgraded our room to Sea View Chalet. This place offers Maldives' vibe. Much better than any 5 star stay around. The food was amazing. Pool was very clean and chlorine free. There was a private access to the beach and the place have kids play area too. The room had amazing amenities like foot massager. It was a memorable stay. Highly recommend this place. The resort was so calm and staff was so great and humble. Great place for couples and family.

I stayed at the resort for 10 nights and had a great time. The staff are absolutely fantastic, they could not do enough for me. Everyone is friendly and helpful.Also, thank you to Remi and team at Breakfast time! The pool is lovely and kept very clean. The beach can be easily accessed from the resort.

There is nothing not to like!!

Very good estate area with lovely and well tended gardens leading to the beach, lovely Poseidon's Cove bar restaurant near beach for a drink and snack after long walk on the beach.Very nice reception and entrance area with bar and adjoining restaurants, very nice, clean andlarge swimming pool.All staff were polite and helpful.Very good breakfast with good selection of dishes.

Glass partition between bathroom and the room and glass doors leading to the balcony were not clean. the room floor did not feel clean. the balcony edges had not been swept for long time and there was dirt on the seat chairs on balcony.Got a chance to speak with a supervisor and most of the above problems were remedied; the balcony edges were not cleaned at any time.Training needs to be given to staff to ensure all above areas are kept clean at all times.

The resort is compact and rooms are good. The staff is very good especially Chef Souvik was excellent and took good care of us along with restaurant supervisor Era.

The only problem is that it's always booked by corporates which makes facilities crowded and sometimes loud. Also passages are not always as clean as should be.

The location was great the room was just okay. The staff were extremely helpful and smiling and always enthusiastic to help. The pool is huge and very lovely.

The room has electrical switches loose and paint peeling in a number of places. The lighting on the room is not at all adequate. In fact it's very very dark and has trouble looking into our bags for our clothes. The hot water was just Luke warm.There was a wedding party going on and the music was so loud and noisy right through the night.The breakfast was adequate but half the things were either cold or stale. The breads and cakes looked like they were pulled out of the freezer and warmed in the oven. The cold cuts were placed in deep freezer and difficult to even pick up from the trays. The jams were smelly too. The choice of eggs and the dosas were the only saving grace. Even the yogurt was tasting stale and fermented.A sad experience in the whole.. Not at all worth the money spent.

Property is huge and located right at the beach. Rooms are spacious. Interiors are well done, every family suite has a full body massager.

The hospitality isn’t great. Wasn’t a good experience talking to the staff. Pet policies are worded in a way that don’t make you feel welcome right from the beginning, including how the staff talks about it. Every hotel has similar pet policies but it’s how you communicate those to the customers that makes a huge difference. Another staff just entered the room with their master key while we were sleeping, and said he came for room cleaning. How do you just enter the room without ringing the bell? We hadn’t even put a room cleaning tag on the door. During the breakfast, another staff just comes and clears the plates while we are eating. How do you just clear the table without asking if we are done? Overall the customer service needs an upgrade here considering the amount one pays for the rooms.

Distance and high tariff room rent on year end

The resort is at a perfect location and has got everything you need and do not need or felt you have to go out. Amazing pool, privates beach access which was amazing and beach was super clean and less people which helps. Breakfast selection was very good and they had very tasty food we ordered food in our room which was super super enjoyable.Loads of green area and kids playing stuff to enjoy.They have kids meal and milk facility which is free of charge and i feel that has something which got my heart and they were very professional in it.

Prices of food are bit on higher side can be reduced to be honest.

Friendly and helpful staff

The safe had to be replaced after repeatedly call outs, the Fridge too had to be replaced. The power sockets need replacement as there is loose connections possibly misused by guests.

Location and Friendliness

Service was very slow - whether it is for Food at Restaurant or Housekeeping. Had to call and ask for simple things many times to get it done!

The breakfast spread was amazing and so is tge in room dining. Also the staff cater to special requests and arrange for goan cusine. Appreciate also that satin pillow covers were changed to cotton upon request.

The flooring of the rooms need upkeep. My room flooring panels were loose and chipped off at certain places which is a let down for a 5 star. Also the road just outside the resort is bumpy and needs to be repaired. The bathrooms also are poorly lit.

Beach is beautiful, a lot of space and not crowded at all. My special hello to the hotel black cat Piku, please do pet him when you see him if you are an animal lover. Thank you to Subha.
