Corallium Beach by Lopesan Hotels - Adults Only - Only Adults consists of 210 bright and spacious rooms, the great majority with direct or side views of the sea. • The poll was nice.
    • Nice hotel with decent location, but unfriendly staff and false check-in advertising
    • I liked being right next to the beach for access and also really enjoyed the beach pilates offered. Enjoyed the sun terrace freedom ?Room was a good size for solo traveller and bathroom was lovely.

    Cons -

    • The food was awful. Not many protein options. Seems like food would either not have a taste or would have a very strong flavor. Almost nothing is included, even if you’re all inclusive. Want water in the room? Pay for it. Want drinks with alcohol, pay for it. ( also the drinks were premade and the bottles would be in the sun all day long. The beer and water in the pool bar, have to be served by yourself. If you asked for a included drink, you would have disgusting dirty cups. If you payed for a “premium” drink, completely different service. Seems like nobody cared. Honestly don’t recommend the place if you wanna have some stress free holidays. There would be a lot of people from outside the hotel just bathing in the pool since they can come from the beach. As you can see in the pictures dirty cups, premade cocktails and soggy food. If you don’t have any other option, go for the not inclusive option and eat outside the hotel.
    • Check-in chaos, unfriendly staff that outright lies to you.Everywhere on Booking.com it says check-in is at 14.00 - I even got a response from the Hotel confirming that. Upon arrival at 14:00 the receptionist said it would be at 16.00. When I showed him the booking confirmation and website that it says 14:00, he got very unfriendly and said it would be at 16.00 and he would call me on the phone as soon as a room is available. He never called. I checked at 16:30 at the desk, he is gone, a different receptionist had to call around the cleaning ladies to find an available room. Waiting 2.5h in 30° heat after being outright lied to - of course I never come back to any lopesan group hotels.Do not assume that you get a timely checkin.
    • There was limited food choices for vegan and gluten free. The gym was tiny and minimal equipment. I feel for all inclusive it would have been nice to include car parking.

Loved the bedrooms and balconys. And the hotel itself was nice, right on the beach.

Food was below average. They served an 'Italian Buffet', for 3 meals in a row (which was ready made oven pizza, plain pasta with seperate bland sauces). The 'Asian Buffet' still had all the Italian dishes out with the addition of a handful of Asian themed foods - also served 3 times in a row.The rest of the items such as salads and desserts are the same through ALL meals. The All Inclusive drinks were SOO bad, they all just taste like syrup, with barely any alcohol. For an actual drink you have to pay more.My advise is do not do all inclusive, eat out and pay for actual drinks.

    Disappointing

Our stay at Corallium Beach by Lopesan got off to a disappointing start, making for a frustrating first day.Firstly, the parking situation felt so dishonest. Prior to our arrival, I specifically inquired about parking and was assured that it was not possible to reserve. This was confirmed again at check-in. However, we were then told upon arrival that the parking was fully booked. To add insult to injury, while waiting in the check-in queue, I overheard another guest being told that their reserved parking space was confirmed. This blatant contradiction left us feeling misled and unfairly disadvantaged. The check-in process itself was also slow, with a 30-minute wait just to reach the reception desk. Upon reaching the desk, we were informed that our room was not yet ready but would be available by 2:00 PM (check-in time), and that we would receive a call when it was.Having not received a call by 2:30 PM, I called the reception. I was then told the room was still not ready. Finally, at 3:00 PM, we went back to the reception desk (and had to queue again) only to be told our room was ready. The receptionist on duty was remarkably offhand and offered no apology for the delay. Their dismissive comment that "check-in is between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM" completely missed the point of our frustration at having to wait around unnecessarily, especially after being told we would receive a call. A simple acknowledgment of the inconvenience or a touch of proactivity would have gone a long way to ease our annoyance. This entire experience felt disorganized, poorly communicated, and frankly, unwelcoming.I would seriously consider other accommodation for my next visit here.

    Nice pool and rooms

The buffet was very crowded. Good breakfast but dinner was kind of boring. Too little space between the tables. Wateraerobic everyday at 12 with loud music. The staff at the receptions English was below average, hard to understand.

Hotel is located in a nice quiet area of the island. It is a really nice hotel with two pools and direct access to a nice beach. Beautiful green plants everywhere and a calm relaxed ambience during the day. Very clean hotel with all areas spotless. My room was nicely laid out with a double bed and lots of room to hang clothes etc, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Good lighting in the room. The flat screen TV was located in a good spot. Great to have tea and coffee facilities plus a fridge. Nice to have a balcony too which had a table and two chairs. The activities during the day were plentiful. I really enjoyed the pilates/yoga and pool aerobics and Jose the instructor was really nice, positive and very welcoming. The music by the pool was great and not overwhelming. Lots of sun loungers available and good bar for snacks or drinks during the day. The food served at breakfast and dinner was varied, tasty and very good quality.

My room was on the second floor so above the smoking area on ground floor which could get noisy some nights. There is a large busy car park on the right of the hotel and the arrival of buses and cars could be a bit noisy at times. Plus smelly with petrol fumes if sitting out on balcony.

The pool and the beach were exactly what i was looking for. The staff were wonderful and were very attentive to everyone.

The food was sub par but thats what i expected coming into the trip.

Room with balcony and ocean view,Location of the hotel at the beach and access to the main street with multiple transportation means,Diverse events in the evening,Chefs trying to diversify food menus,Cleaning and restaurant stuff polite and doing a good job.

Shower and toilet water splashing all over the bathroom, Window bathroom not properly functioning,No option to heat the room,No iron available in the hotel,Always noise in the hotel in the afternoons, making it difficult to properly rest,No pool heated, although we were informed that 1 of them will be heated,Security risks, people outside the hotel were able to enter and slide flyers under the door at all the floors,Concierge stuff could have been more friendly and helpful,Although the chefs were doing their best to diversify the menus, it was clear that the hotel did not spend money on more qualitative and tasteful food (fish, beef, fruits, vegetables).

Very friendly staff, awesome dinner with a huge buffet, also the pool is amazing. Nevertheless, it's quite far from Maspalomas (3km Playa de inglés) and during the carnival event it was very difficult to get home to the hotel. Maybe, the management can organize shuttle options for hotel guests? Taxis or buses seem not available. Also, there is one negative aspect and the water pressure of the sink in the bathroom is extremely low. The water pressure of the shower was okay.

Staff were great, the hotel was very clean. They had loads of activities throughout the day and great workout sessions.

The bar at the beach was not run well - always had to wait to be served - they could make more use of this

    8AlicePosted on: 3-28-2025

Rooms and decor of the hotel really lovely

No shower available to use on the day of check out. Our flight wasn’t until the evening and we wanted to use the pool in the day.

I booked this trip for an end of winter getaway and opted for the all inclusive package. I requested one queen bed instead of two twins pushed together. I was ensured that this is what I would get but when I got to the room it was two twins. I returned to reception and they had to get room service staff to change the bed which delayed my ability to check into my room. For the most part the all inclusive was a good option and the buffets at breakfast, lunch, and dinner were substantial and offered lots of choices. The wait to get a drink was often long but the staff really works hard. I suggest getting whatever is considered local food as they are often done quite well and are tasty. There are no real hot tubs which was a disappointment. They are extensions of the cold pool. I didn’t care for the red wine offered in the all inclusive package so I purchased my own at the Spar market less than 5 minutes away up the hill.

Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel and would gladly return. The room, garden, and pool area are beautifully maintained, with plenty of lush plants and flowers. The beach is right outside the hotel, making it easily accessible. Maspalomas is about a 50-minute walk away, but you can also take a bus from Clinica Roca, which takes around 10 minutes. The food selection is good, with excellent salads, sauces, and cheese options. However, the variety and seasoning of the meat could be improved. There was no need to wait for a table at the restaurant, and sunbeds were always available at the pool areas.

The variety and seasoning of the meat could be improved for dinner.

Pool area very good. Room ok, great view over the pool seafront. Food good

Dining room too small, not enough tables. People queuing outside at dinner. Not enough staff. Slow clearing tables. Slow ordering and bringing drinks. Food good quality but limited choice

    9EriPosted on: 3-23-2025

Beautiful hotel, beach front, nice pool area. The room and the bathroom was nice and spacious, and clean.

Check-in and check-out takes long. We didn't take too long, but we had to wait for a long time as there were many others in the queue and each group took a long time.

    8KariPosted on: 3-22-2025

Very good location, easy going atmosphere. Hotel is on the spot - beach and pools in walking distance, good breakfast overall.

Selection of restaurants is quit narrow in the area. Hotel restaurant dinnerbuffee was too many selections of courses and all was medium or above medium standard - nothing great standard.

    7SaraPosted on: 3-16-2025

I really liked this hotel the swimming pool area is very peaceful and always sunbeds available. I liked the choice of food for breakfast. The toiletries that they provide in the room smell beautiful. Close access to the beach where sunbeds and umbrellas are available at an extra cost. I was only here for 2 nights and both mornings at breakfast the chefs were the most friendly. Always smiling and taking attention when food needed replacing. The other friendly staff member who was always polite and friendly was one of the bar staff in the piano bar. I cannot recall his name but his hair was long. Finally the receptionist the day I checked was very professional as well.

I had a room overlooking the car park I regret not paying the extra for a Seaview now. There was a buzzing noise that would go on and off so the first night I could not sleep. I put my make up the room sign on at around 9am. When I returned at 2pm it still had not been done so I spoke to reception and they said they would call housekeeping. At 5pm when I returned again the room had still not been cleaned so I called reception and someone came at 6pm. For me this was a huge disappointment. This is the first time when I've been away that I have had to chase up getting my room cleaned. I was all inclusive but apparently there was a premium all inclusive which I was not aware of. If you had this I believe you could have had extra cocktails and branded spirits. I'm not sure if I could of upgraded to this as was not asked but probably would of. The hotel deserves a higher score than the 7 I have given but this is due to myself having to chase up about the room not being cleaned.
