Villars Lodge

The staff were all very lovely. It was a nice location but you couldn’t walk to the lifts easily. The breakfast was also good.

It was loud. There were kids yelling at all hours. And they were so stinky. Unless you have kids avoid this place. The room was also very small and the bed was one of the worst I’ve slept on.

The breakfast/dinner/bar space was very nicely designed, with space for kids to play. Staff was very friendly. The family room was larger than expected. Location is perfect. We would come back happily!

A couple more options on the dinner menu would have been nice.

The rooms are functional but slightly basic

We stayed here for the second time. Wonderful room, comfortable bed, snow-white bedding. We had a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant, it was very tasty and cozy atmosphere.

We had not hairdryer in the room

There are lying saying that there is ski-to-door. You need to walk 10min with stairs to go to the train station and than take a 15min train.

The bar room is a wonderful place! We loved having breakfast here and sitting there in the evenings was very relaxing. The breakfast is delicious and all the staff were excellent!

Beautifully designed hotel with wonderful lounge and breakfast, walk to the slopes and on the bus line so you can reach it by public transport easily. The room was comfortable and very cozy. The staff were very kind and helpful. Loved my stay!

It was hotel prices for hostel experience. Having to pay an extra 15chf for parking also felt egregious, and added to the sense that it was overpriced/oversold.

The breakfast was good but if you do not eat bread it is a bit complicated + if you'd like to eat something warm (like oeuf a la coque or a porridge) there is no option. If you can eat a cold breakfast and eat bread then it is quite good.

We did not like the staff and the way they behaved. We put the do not disturb sign on the door (it was Valentine's day) and they came in the room, waking us up and ruined the whole stay.. plus they made us feel bad when we had the audacity to say something..The rooms look like prison cells sadly they have nothing in common with the beautiful bar / entrance. I do not recommend anyone to stay at the lodge. For over 250.- a night it is not a good value for money + the service was very bad.

Great location, super nice atmosphere and surroundings. I brought a dog with me, a bowl for him was already in the room when we arrived and he was allowed to come with me for breakfast.

The only thing missing is a fireplace in the lounge area

Location was excellent, clean room, very comfortable mattress, so we had a good relaxing sleep , breakfast was of excellent quality. Friendly attentive staff.

Its not clear enough in the booking that the shower and toilet are not part of my room !Breakfast should include more hot dishes coz mainly bread ! You have to pay the parking for an additional of 15 CHF that should be free while staying at the hotel

Shower box was a bit unexpected for what we paid and the sleeping room was a bit too tight to move around the bed.

Simple room, clean, very nice and cosy main hall with bar. Breakfast served at the Villars Palace was a great upgrade that day! Good value overall for a short stay in Villars.
