Pros +
- It’s stunning location and wonderful staff.
- The location is wonderful. We took the telesiège from Chesières to Roc D'Orsay and hiked down to the property, but there is also a train that arrives at the foot of the property. The staff are friendly, great mountain atmosphere. We had a great dinner and a peaceful night in a private room.
- Great location. The food at the restaurant was pricey but good.
Cons -
- Paper thin walls, therefore a lot of noise can be heard at night from rooms all around.
- When we stayed here, there was a group of about 50 10-year-old kids, and their ski instructors who were staying there at the same time. We had no idea this would be the case. If we had our own bathrooms and if the sound insulation had been better, this might not have been so terrible. However, all of the showers are shared, all of the bathrooms are shared the common spaces are extremely echoey and loud, And the kids were horrible. When trying to shower (each time), there was a crowd of rowdy kids banging on the doors of all of the showers. The yelling and banging lasted each day from around 3pm to 10pm. Even the teachers, whose room was next to ours (and again with terrible sound insulation), were talking loudly up to midnight. This was not a relaxing experience. The hotel may not have responsibility for the behavior of the kids, but they chose to have both a camp and normal clients at the same time without informing either. Consequently, this was really not a chill holiday in the mountains. It was a harrowing experience of little sleep where we were eager to leave (!).
- The management doesn’t have a clue about customer service and how to speak or relate to customers. For example I was asked to pay city tax for a 3 yo boy when kids don’t have to pay city tax until six yo. That was asked me for 4 days even if I gave the reassurance that I would pay, if needed, at the checkout. The whole communication was very bad and rude. The place doesn’t have any social area to spend time, you need to sit at the bar/restaurant so you’re just forced to consume if you can’t go anywhere else.

Cleanliness and all the staff service minus two members of the management, the manager and his assistant were very bad.

everything was great ! great location next to the slopes, clean environment, good tasty restaurant!
nothing !
Stunning location. Friendly staff. Well run and excellent breakfast overlooking stunning views. Outside restaurant amazing. Quality food.
Location is perfect! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Family room is spacious. Shared bathroom was clean.
The family room needs a few more places to hang wet clothes after a day of skiing. A few more hooks on the wall, or shelves to store shoes/clothes would be helpful.
Amazing mountain views. Very helpful and kind staff.
No soap and shampoo in the showers.
only location.
hotel sent a mail to suggest us reserve a table for dinner. we supposed we gonna have a dinner in a normal restaurant, but we ate some remain fixed menu meal from a student group which was very poor and extremely expensive. we asked to them,it is a restaurant but they don't have even eggs to fry cos food was very poor. we reserve room for 3. there were a just sofa nothing more, no pillow no sheets etc. Hotel and hotel bar closed at 21h like they don't have costumers.3)hotel misguiding costumers like last train 1750 which is not correctly second only way to reach to hotel is train which is not correct too.the day after we saw that there is a parking lot 100m far too hotel that people came to summit for trekking.
Location and personell effort to serve.Clean toilets and showers. Great view. Ski in/out.
Poor dinner. we were starving after full day of ski. we wouldn’t have eaten it otherwise. Very small portions for adults and kids. didn’t like the cooking also. overpriced for this quality and quantity. Forgot my daughter for 1h waiting her chicken winds.
Fantastic location, excellent food,
excellent location
we were not able to lock the room from the inside
amazing situation
I would have liked eggs with breakfast before a big ski day.
