Great staff, lovely accommodation. Food was excellent, and entertainment most enjoyable.Swimming pool and gym were also excellent facilities to avail of .

Pool and location

Room was rather small. Front desk didn’t think any restaurants would be open when I asked for a recommendation upon my arrival at 11:00pm. I walked to the shopping area directly behind the hotel and almost every restaurant was open and crowded.

I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was quite good quality with good diversity and tasty food. Unfortunately the dine room didn't have a good ventilation so I always got smelly after been there for a couple of minutes.

Dine room didn't have good ventilation so we used to get smelly after eating there. It was requested to pay an additional 20 euro for checking out later.

This is a fantastic hotel in a great central location, the staff are really friendly, the food is excellent and everyone goes out of their way to make your stay really enjoyable. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who’s looking for a great centrally based location near all the local amenities.

The staff were very friendly. The pool area was nice although it was a bit difficult sometimes to find a sunbed. The location is right next door to Yumbo centre so convenient if you are going there in the evening.

The food at both lunch time and in the evening was really quite poor. Lots of choice at dinner but very poor quality. The shower ran very very hot then cold every 30 seconds or so, so it was really difficult to have a shower without scalding yourself.

The rooms and the pool

If you are half board ,you should be able to get soft drinks and tea and coffee through the day by the pool , I get no alcohol but the other sues as there in the rooms , that's a basic requirement

Fantastic hotel, loved the staff and facilities and would absolutely stay again.Food could be better. In the morning it's hard to get eggs , they were always having to make more. You ended up waiting for quite basic elements of your breakfast.Dinner isn't always the same so don't count on specific items being available. Could be Mexican one night, Spanish another and basic buffet the next.

Staff were lovely as always and the pool area always well arranged and clean. Location great for socializing at night.

This is not my first time time stay here , but having spent close to 5k in the last 4 months staying at the hotel for 3 weeks i have a huge problem with having to pay extra to over look the pool. I have always had a pool room in all my stays so i refused to pay for a room view. Out of all rooms at the hotel roughly 30 to 40 rooms are at both ends of the hotel looking onto other neighboring properties. There for its is not possible for all guests to have an upgraded room as they have 340 rooms giving around 280 that will have a pool view and the front of the hotel contains the corridor's to the rooms. It is another way of extorting money from guests. We were given room 235 , the room had a small window/ door in the corner opening to the balcony so the room was very dark. The 2 beds mattresses were old so when you sat on the bed it went down and creeked . The bathroom had a bath the plug hole was all rust around the drain. The kettle was all rust inside i tried to ring down to reception but i kept getting a spanish automated message and the call was disconnected so i had to go to reception with the kettle and a new one was sent to the room. The other problem is that we always get bottled water during the stay , now you get water the evening of check in and that is it. All other hotels provide water . Unfortunately prices are so excessive now its is far cheaper to stay in 5 star hotels in Dubai.

The gym equipment should be increased and some repaired. The food of the night's dinner was good but most of the vegetables, unfortunately, were almost always canned vegetables.

the room, the pool the breakfast were all excellent. But the most amazing thing was the staff, who were extremely friendly and very helpful and the reason the hotel will be our first choice next time.

We had difficulty in booking the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. The options kept leading us to full board/ all inclusive. Although this is the best hotel we have stayed in in GC (after 20 visits), This would lead us to go elsewhere. As we have friends there we spend time with and favourite restaurants where we know many of the staff.

This is our fourth visit and the hotel is fantastic!! The staff were incredible over Christmas and the range of special food and entertainment was of superb quality.

Can be a tad on the pricey side, but it is worth it!

I had breakfast and dinner included with my reservation. Both meals were a good value and a wide variety of choices.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Reception and restaurant staff make an effort every day to be receptive to all their guests.The location is excellent adjacent to the Yumbo , with access via rear entrance. Importantly the rooms are nice and fresh and have good sound insulation from the Yumbo. I had half board so lots of choices for breakfast and dinner, I’d say dinner caters well for German tastes, so lots of pork/meat options.

The hotel is great and has good facilities overall. It would be good to see More extensive gym facilities and perhaps a bigger sauna and jacuzzi.

New property. Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice pool and sauna facilities. Caroline on the main desk was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgable.

The food was mediocre. At dinner they would have a main dinner item which was the better of the options but the buffet dinner left much to be desired. I’m a big dessert fan, unfortunately I was not a fan of the desserts here.

The ‘towelterror’ every morning at the pool. People getting up at 6 so that they can lay at the pool. After a few frustrations it got to a point ‘if you can’t beat them, join them’
