-Amazing location 5 min walk to yumbo centre. - the pool area is great. Very inviting, lovely pool and setup. You can rent special reserved only day type Bali beds although the price is a bit steep. - balconies have a washing line hanger which is good

The rooms are getting tired and shows lots of wear and tear, my bathroom sink was broken and held in by a wire underneath!! The shower leaked and always left a flood on the floor. Mouldy areas in the shower. Had to prop up washing line with patio chair.

I really liked the staff. Everyone was so lovely and friendly. Everybody was so helpful, especially Carmen, Raico, and Carmelo. See you again soon, guys!

Some of the umbrellas at the pool area were broken. Please, make coffee free in the room. Coffee addicted is here ;)

Strategic and quiet location, walkable distances from the hotel to Yumbo Center, restaurants and beaches. Clean and quiet room. All the staff has been impeccable in particular Alex, Carmen and Mauro, not only very competent and professional but also genuinely friendly which is rare to found.

Not the standard for an Axel hotel . I guess Berlin spoiled me. Rooms are out dated . Air conditioning never got cold. Steam Room and Sauna were rustic with holes that you can see outside. For the price . I was not impressed. I would not return unless a major renovation was completed .

I liked that it was an all LGBT safe space and the location was within walking distance of everything I needed.The staff and especially the reception staff and particularly Alex went above and beyond to be helpful at all times.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the decor made the rooms very dark. I think the dark blue wallpaper and big heavy curtains need to be replaced to make it a bit of a brighter Space.

The hotel is close to nightlife and shopping areas, and is easily accessible by bus from the airport. The staff were very friendly – we received a warm welcome at reception and the cleaning staff were always smiling. The entire hotel, including the garden, was very clean and well maintained.The breakfast was excellent, with vegetables, fruit, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, cheeses and, of course, sweet pastries and cakes. They even asked us if we needed to check out early so they could prepare breakfast for us to take away, which was very thoughtful of them.The room had everything we needed, and the balcony was a great place to relax in the afternoon. The elevator was quite slow, often taking long seconds before the doors finally opened on the floor. Also, the hotel entrance was not on the main street but on the other side, and unfortunately, that was the only way in and out.

Rooms are dated. It was actually more modern the previous style. Dated wallpaper on the walls and also in the bathroom

Noisy AC unit told reception 1st day and had to go back again over the course of 3 days to be told on the 4th day we need to change room

Everything was excellent, room was spacious and cleaners came daily to clean and give fresh towels. Pool and bar area was exceptionally clean and service was fantastic. Location was perfect - within waling distance of bars resturants and beach

the party on Sunday May 4th was a disaster. Unannounced, it was very sparsly populated, but the DJ was horrible, and the music was so loud that you couldn't enjoy the pool area. We were basically chased out of the hotel until 7pm. The people that did show up (about 10 in total) were straight, and very sketchy looking. That basically wasted a day for my trip.

Hot breakfast always cold.....l slep on a camp bed in the sitting room which collapsed twice....axel gc is NOT of the same standard as the mainland...Rooms need to be re vamped...and a proper sofa bed in sitting room which can be used when two friends occupy room..I was very disappointed...

The area of the jacuzzi was apparently cleaned with special cleaning liquid. A strong and sharp smell did not make it that relaxing to stay in the jacuzzi.

The service of the reception with the check-in and checkout is very comfortable and very easy. Especially Kevin and Cythomi are very friendly. Everytime I would stay again. Thank you for this amazing stay.

The reception guys (Kevin & Carmen) were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The Pool is very nice but guests seem to reserve the loungers and not really come back for them. Breakfast was ok, nothing to fancy but good enough.
