    • For my birthday in March we flew from Aruba to Gran Canaria, this was our first time in GC. We stayed at Los Almendros and we had a wonderful time. The bungalows with private terrace, are completely up to date, everything was spotless clean and the property looked very neat. The staff was very friendly, we had rented a car, but we did not need it, everything is within easy walking distance, opposite Cita and Yumbo less than 10 minutes walk, close to the dunes. All kinds of good restaurants in the area. But also at Los Almendros itself you can have a good lunch and delicious drinks. We are already planning to come back in November, this time for a longer holiday. sunny greetings Auke & Mike
    • Wow fantastic. All staff very friendly. Bungalow very clean.
    • Location, one of the closest to the beach Sun beds reasonably comfyBeds in accommodation vary? Depends which bungalow you’re in.Bungalows painted in a nice colour, cactus landscaping is nice.

    Cons -

    • That we stayed too short!
    • We had to leave.
    • Was a building site whilst we were there.€160 per night in a quiet season! Was asked to move bungalows 2 days in for the benefit of the hotel not ours. They revamped the one we were staying in and put us in a worse one, but they said it was an upgrade as it’s pool side. Kitchen facilities in bungalow basic and well warnMusic around the pool was terrible.Air-con in bungalow was useless Shower drain kept flooding the shower room Pool bar closed by 7 and overpriced.Stayed here the beginning of December, not one Christmas light, not even an illuminated palm tree! just no life here, a very basic vibe. Everything was perfect except one thing

Hard pillows. Everything else was great. First time there for 12 years bit will definitely be going again

This was my second visit to Los Almendros. The location is excellent: in front of the Cita Shopping Centre, so you have supermarkets, a nice german bakery, a couple of cafes to have lunch at; the beach with the dunes is very easy to reach walking; walking distance (less than 15 minutes) from Yumbo center, so it's good at the evening, but far from the noisy clubs. The staff is amazing, from the guys at the bar, the person at the reception (fun and very helpful), to the cleaning staff, they'll very nice. If you have an issue, they'll fix it very quickly (minor issue with the soap dispenser, was fixed right the next morning). The pool and the Jacuzzi are both super relaxing, people are friendly and all the bungalows have a lovely (fake grass) garden in front of them, where you can take it easy and have breakfast or something to eat at night. The day of the checkout, we were welcome to stay longer by the pool, which is also nice.

The only minor note is for the furniture inside the bungalows, which is a bit dated, but hardly worth mentioning, to be honest.

First and foremost: the staff is great. Always nice and helpful. You feel constantly embraced by their hospitality. There was a minor issue in my bungalow, and it was fixed in great time. Also the cleaning ladies were always so kind and cheerful. The Jacuzzi and the pool are very relaxing, and the way their layout in the resort makes it easy to meet new friends. The fact that the whole resort is clothing optional is also very relaxing and informal. The position is great: walking distance (~15 minutes) from Yumbo shopping center, and right in front of the Cita shopping center. Very easy and pleasant walk to get to the dunes.

Definitely not an important thing for me, but maybe the furniture inside the bungalows shows a little bit the signs of time.

    Very good

When I had to leave the place, he stood and looked at me suspiciously and asked where I had hidden the bedspread.I said it was gone the other day when I came back from the beach.I left with the strange feeling that he didn't believe me.It would have been somewhat easier if they had already asked the day after when it was gone

Loved the place, nice and quiet, excellent staff, cleaned well. Everyone is lovely there, from check in, the staff, the stay - just wonderful. We'll be back.

The wifi - as a lot of places in the Canaries, the wifi was appalling and needs sorting. We all play on our phones and the cutting out, slow speeds isn't acceptable in this day and age. I used my roaming data for the whole week instead of the hotel wifi.

Good location, relaxed atmosphere, excellent staff.

    8OlliePosted on: 2-22-2022

    Great location, spacious and comfortable.

it’s either not stated or I didn’t notice that it is his clothing optional resort, particularly around the pool. Might be a little intimidating for some people.

    10PeterPosted on: 2-16-2022

The bungalows are self catering, the pool bar opens at 11am where you can get breakfast or lunch and drinks. As a naturist the thing i liked the most was its clothes optional. The location is perfect with every thing just a few minutes walk, will most definitely stay again.

    8ChristophePosted on: 2-1-2022

First stay. Friendly bar and cleaning staff. Large bed. Renovated bathroom. Very good location.

Pity the pool and jacuzzi are not heated. Only a few minutes of hot water in the shower.

    9LuisPosted on: 1-4-2022

The staff is amazingly welcoming and very helpful

The music was very low and they refused to raise the volume up. Killing the mood of the place.

    8AndreaPosted on: 12-13-2021

Space in the rooms and swimmipool. Everything is clean. Bed very comfortable

Water in Jacuzzi not hot. It would very useful in this period. Kitchen space small but full of what needed
