I would absolutely recommend this hotel! The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are surprisingly very big with a nice balcony. The staff is very friendly. It near the beach and the bus stationd are very close to the hotel. Breakfast is also amazing.

The only thing, if you are a light sleeper the walls are a bit thin. For me it was no problem.

The only thing is that we had to recharge our key every time we got back beside that everything was perfect

We enjoyed the spacious junior suite and the amazing breakfast. The pool area was overall very pleasant (except for it being a smoking area). As a guest of the hotel you get access to the Stark luxury gym, which is next door and has amazing facilities and group classes. The location is very central in Maspalomas with lots of taxis that drive by and bus options as well. The staff was really wonderful and multi-lingual, and the service excellent. The chef of the restaurant for example made a pasta alla vongole lunch for us that wasn't on the menu. We were craving it and it definitely hit the spot! The hotel was also able to arrange late check out for us at 6pm for a small fee, which we appreciated a lot given our late flight back home. We would stay here again on a future visit.

The hotel was difficult to reach (no answer by phone or email, only via the booking.com app) before our trip. The bathroom of the junior suite could use some pimping up and was missing a few basic amenities. There was no lotion and only a small piece of handsoap. The shower had a 2-in-1 body and hair soap, with no description of what brand or kind of soap it was (we had to ask the hotel staff to figure it out because of sensitive skin / allergies etc). The bathroom and the room need hooks to hang clothes and bags on. The cafe at the pool should really be a non-smoking area. It's annoying when people smoke when you are drinking and eating, and when there are kids around.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, super buffet breakfast, great location near the yumbo 5 min walk. Great clean room. Nice looking hotel.

Evening meals as half board pretty poor, would advise against. Pool parasol cannot be used when windy , which is difficult as often windy in gran canaria. Noise from party hotel next door for 2 days , but can request access to pool at HL mirasol across the road, to escape the noise.

I have stayed in the recently renovated Rondo on several occasions. Aesthetically , the hotel is stunning and finished to the highest standards. All rooms are suites. Beautifully furnished, very spacious and airy. Bathrooms are sumptuous white marble.The breakfast area , both inside and out , is well planned out, and offerings are sublime .How can you refuse a glass of white or pink cava , or a Bellini , when on holiday ?Where else in the world does the front desk manager greet you by name when you arrive ( thank you Stephan) and re-kindle from the last conversation you had together, and then offer you a glass of bubbly to take to your room when the check-in process has been completed ?All of the staff are charming, knowledgable and extremely courteous and friendly.The pool area is beautiful , with a selection of loungers, white leather double beds and cabanas.Having travelled the world extensively over 40 years, and having stayed in some of the finest hotels, I can honestly say this is in my top 3 of " go-to" places.Great location , within walking distance of superb restaurants and bars, a supermarket next door, the beach and sand dunes and, of course, the famous Jumbo centre.

Clean, spacious, rooms were lovely, breakfast was amazing. All hot food cooked fresh to order, and lots of options to choose from.

Good location (central but yet quiet), fresh and spacious rooms, bathroom and a small balcony. Attentive, professional and multilingual staff who makes a personal difference. Heated pool! and in same building a great gym with sauna included in the rate. Excellent food and 3 variations for every dish every night prepared a la minute if you ordered dinner. I give the hotel my best of recommendations!

Not a major problem at all, but they close gym already at 4 pm on weekends.

The hotel is modern, spacious, comfortable, and well located. Members of staff are very very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast is excellent and restaurant offers a good variety of delicious food for dinner and room service. Rooms offer pretty much what one needs for a relaxing, quiet and comfortable stay. Spark fitness club at the hotel is very well equipped and ultra modern - an extra bonus. I shall be back.

The greeting at HL Rondo was exceptional. We arrived early, the room was ready, and our request for a high room was facilitated. Junior suite room was clean, functional, and modern. Pool area was spacious and clean. Food was great. Staff were friendly and kind. Hotel is next to Axel Beach hotel, they had music and entertainment by the pool during the day. We didn't find it disturbing, but have red some reviews to the contrary. If you don't like noise book a hotel in the mountains. We would visit this hotel again, it was great, location was perfect and reasonably priced.

Staff was really nice, everything was clean and just was amazing. Breakfast has a live chef who makes amazing food.

Bright,clean,very friendly staff.Excellent facilities, excellent breakfast.Fresh towels provided for the beach every day.Transfers to and from the beach.

Room was excellent but one small issue.I’m a light sleeper and people using the bathroom next door during the night when flushing the toilet the plumbing is quite noisy.

The staff working at the restaurant was nice smiling all the time ready to help if needed.

I didn't like the attitude off a person at the reception desk, someone called STEPHAN ( man with a beard),Told him that is not what I've booked in. He didn't want to listen to what I had to say. He was talking over me I couldn't finish what I had to say. He was speaking to me like I had to accept it the way it is because he said so .I showed him some pictures with problems found on the roof like the build in wardrobe you could open it properly to use it. , missing rubbish bags missing in the room and bathroom , entrance door wasn't closed properly. With all this he has changed me the room that wasn't looking the same but was much better than the first one and He didn't say anything SORRY or something. For him it was something normal I've asked him about the spa and there was no SPA.I booked this hotel for the spa but they don't have it .Apart from this issues everything was fine Probably I was unlucky to get the room number 123

Everything was amazing, the staff were very nice and helpful, the breakfast was so good, we also got free entry to the gym and everything was so clean:)
