Very nice and friendly staff. Pricy but good food and drinks.

The suites were fantastic, particularly on the higher levels. Spa and massage treatments were fab. Great vibe about the hotel.

If I were to look for an area of improvement, the breakfasts were a little disorganised on some of the mornings

Staff were fantastic and room was wonderful, spacious and comfortable. My flight home was cancelled and staff went out of their way to assist me.

The location was very good - short walk to the beach and Yumbo centre. The pools were good. The rooms are pretty good (although beware, see below about the balcony). The decor is ok and the pools when they're not busy are pretty nice.

Misleading for certain rooms, eg Garden View - if you book certain rooms they do NOT have a balcony, the copy states something like "most rooms have a balcony", but this seems wrong. A room with a balcony and one without are two substantially different rooms and should be listed, and priced as such and it shouldn't be down to chance whether you get a balcony or not.The breakfast buffet only has cold items and if you want hot stuff you need to order it - this is unecessarily complicated and the kitchen when we were there wasn't great. Day 1 eggs ordered hard boiled were raw, Day 2 eggs poached were similarly raw, gave up on eggs after that.Beware also that they let outsiders book a day pass for the spa and the pools which ruins the chilled vibe and makes it more crowded than it should be.Basic spa (eg non treatments) such as steam and indoor pool are NOT included in your stay, you have to buy a separate pass - in every other spa hotel I have been to, the basic stuff like sauna, steam, pool have been included. Feels like a rip off.

Perfect location, just 5 minutes walk to the beach and bars/restaurants but very quiet and relaxing surroundings. Excellent soundproofing windows/doors. Filtered water dispenser in the room. 5 star facilities. Great choice of breakfast served in the top floor restaurant with amazing views over the beach and sand dunes. Having a glass of cava with your breakfast while indulging in this view sets you up for a great day. Beautiful and classy rooftop bar. Lovely cocktails and atmosphere in the poolside bar. Our flight was at the evening and the hotel gives great opportunity to use showers and changing rooms in the spa downstairs while picking up the bags.

Initially very disappointed by the room. Standard room is nothing like presented on the photos. It was small, seemed cluttered, dark, not enough space for two people to properly unpack. Toilet itself is super small and feels claustrophobic. More expensive rooms are much bigger and very impressive. Rooftop bar stopped serving cocktails at least one hour before closing and cleaning lady was mopping the floors while we were finishing our drinks 30 minutes before closing

The location, friendly staff, clever room design, great breakfasts, and excellent cocktails.

Inconsistencies in housekeeping when replacing towels, toiletries, water etc. Something was missed most days of our stay. Not a big issue, but shouldn't have happened.

Comfortable rooms, great service, nice facilities. Conveniently located to reach everything in Playa de Ingles. Bonus the great view from the rooftop restaurant and bar.

The property is uniquely designed and it is easy to see the thought that has gone into it. The property is good for both summer and winter sun as water temperatures of the pools are spot on. The room looks over the garden but there is also a partial sea view. There is a lot to love about this property.

The restaurant is fantastic and the pools are nice. Staff went out of their way to help us when asked.Not too far from the main tourist destinations. Landscaping is awesome.

Rooms are very small. Our "Ocean view" was a room on the second floor with an active construction site on the other side of our door with a 8am wake up via jackhammer. I dont like that they knowingly dumped us in that room. There is alot of damage in our room. Little things but Alot of little things. Theres bits of food on the walls, stuff in cornors, smudges, and stains.The pool bar food was extremely overpriced and mostly consisted of ingredients we found at breakfast.Maybe we were spoiled after a week in a suite at the Santa Catalina but we paid next to the same price and we both were just not happy with what we got. We tried to take the hit and book with lopesan but they were at capacity. Its a nice hotel but make sure they dont stick you with a bad room.

The situation.

Not a 5-star hotel anymore. It was our 4th stay there. After the terrible arrival when we were assigned an uncleaned room with chemicals spread along the baseboards of each wall of the room (technician said to the receptionist it was wax for the floor !! Lies…) with terrible smell, we got the same suite on floor 3. Unfortunately it was also badly cleaned as I found, in the morning, close to the shower tub a (sorry but that’s what it was) a piece of poop (!!). Also the general cleaning was quite poor for a five-star hotel. Also very annoying the one and only elevator for the guests, always passing by or being full. After : not really better. One morning at breakfast at 10:30 no more pancakes (meaning no more eggs, milk and flour ??) and no more avocados ; received a guacamole toast instead of avocado toast… guacamole at 10:30am ??Then the pool : always that disgusting smell of sewage, everyday ! Difficult to relax with such bad smells.And finally again very discutable cleaning of the room. Dust is a problem is that hotel.The finish with complimentary sparkling water : one of the two bottles wasn’t totally finished one day (one centimeter of water still in it), so what happened : we were not given a new one !!! This is incredible. Who can give such stupid orders to the maid ?? Vanity sets : never got a new one after using it even if you « highlight » the empty one.when you spend 560 euro/night in a five star hotel, you expect better. Way better.The staff is generally friendly but the contact is impersonal. The manager was supposed to contact us on my personal phone : he never did.

Fantastic rooftop bar and restaurant, one of the best in Gran Canaria with perfect view. Room itself was spacious.

Bathroom drains didn't work well. Saw a couple of roaches here and there in the room. Elevators did not entirely work during my stay.

2nd Stay will be back for a third, Love the views of the sea the sunrise the restaurant overlooking the sea and sand dunes! Great Breakfast and Dinner lovely roof top bar and love the pool bar wood fired pizzas amazing club sandwich. Great friendly Hotel nothing is too much, cant wait to come back next year!

better pillows was the only negative

Breakfast was fantastic and the location in the rooftop was beautifulDinner was also exemplary - although we didn't like that even though it was included in our package we were surprised by an additional charge for items we ordered - we couldn't see the note about it when reading the menu off our phones. They did not reverse charge but corrected for future guests by putting star stickers on the actual menus the next night and showed us. Good for future patrons but we were unsatisfied that we had to pay the extra euros when we would never have ordered these items had we knownPool areas are nice and quiet.

Extra charges that were not reversed when we didn't know about themCharges for water when around pool - although we found this throughout the Canaries - charging for water and no option of tap water.

Everything. This place is just like Heaven, but there are so many hidden pleasures that you will feel guilty.The art, the outstanding decoration, the neverending flow of positive energy from the staff, the tranquility of the yakuzzi and swimming pools... it all creates an atmosphere of elevation and greatness that is hardly matched even by the other 5 stars hotels in the southwestern area of Meloneras.A must stay!

I didnt like the fact that I cannot stay and live in this hotel forever!
