Hotel Ape Regina

We loved the tranquility and excellent hospitality. We got the superior room with a large balcony and sea view. It was worth it!

It helps to have your own transportation or to not have too much you want to do in a short time on the island. There is a bus but it only comes by about once an hour.

Amazing mountains and sea view, tasty breakfast, very nice people, clean and cozy swimming pool... what elese can you expect from holidays? Special greetings for italian lady who made breakfast for Camille tea. You stole my heart and will be back one day

Clean and spacious room with a wonderful view from the balcony. Super friendly owners. The bus into town stops in front of the hotel and runs every 45 minutes.

The best part about this hotel is the staff; they’re amazing! Super helpful and willing to go above and beyond You also can’t beat the view and the pool! It is just a little bit tricky to get in/out of town as the bus didn’t run when it was supposed to - other than that, amazing stay

Our stay at the Hotel Ape Regina was absolutely wonderful, without a doubt the highlight of our vacation in Italy. From the moment we arrived we were very well received until the moment we left, the hosts were impeccable. The hotel is in an area further away from the center, which for those looking for peace and quietness is the ideal place, with an incredible sea view, simply perfect. The delicious breakfasts on the terrace with that view were amazing. A special thank you to Mr. Giuseppe and Mrs Catarina, who were always very attentive, never letting us miss anything and doing everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible, not to mention their sympathy. We were very happy at Ape Regina and we can't wait to return Highly recommended!

Incredibile views from the hotel, breathtaking place to stay nestled in nature and so accessible with the bus which runs pretty frequently. The food was great and fresh, homemade by the owners and they were very warm and hospitable. The pool was an added bonus too!

This was the perfect place to stay and relax, the views across the sea and beach were incredible. - pictures do not do it justice. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. The pool and bar were perfect. Great value for money.

Getting up there was a bit of a hassle with catching a bus, and then trying to manage food options was a bit of a nuisance - not being able to walk to shops easily.

The views were spectacular and the staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was so fresh, presentation and service was faultless.Pool was kept very clean as was the entire property and grounds.Short bus ride to the Port , Reception sold tickets.Totally chilled and hardly left the hotel as it was so relaxing.Thank you Giuseppe, Katerina and Lucia for an amazing stay.

My stay at Hotel Ape Regina was perfect from start to end. I was greeted warmly and was made to feel very welcome during my stay by the friendly owners. Travelling alone I felt very safe and I was given a free room upgrade with a beautiful view. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Ischia. The hotel an be easily reached by local buses and is very quiet and provides a perfect place to watch the sunset go down with drinks and snacks available. Also I must mention the breakfast.. this has to be one of the best I've had during my travels in Italy. If you are thinking of booking you won't regret it!

The pool and views from the hotel was lovely! Everyone was very kind and offered lots of advice and suggestions for things to do in Ischia. The breakfast was great value for money

The property is very hard to find, and not in a very central location. This is really nice if you want to relax by the pool but it takes a while from the hotel to explore the rest of the island. The bus to the hotel only runs once an hour so you have to time your day trips well.

Old uncomfortable mattress with springs, thin walls could hear everything, mosquitoes the opening doors to balcony or you can face no airflow at night (I do not use AC it was fresh enough) . Cold breakfast, far from evening, bus runs ones per hour. Pictures must be updated, as they misleading

The swimming pool was the highlight of the hotel.The people are lovely and help with anything you need, give advice about places, etc.Our only criticism is our room was at the back, it was dark and didn't have a balcony, we also were waking up at various times during the night when people were arriving.Nevertheless it is a lovely place with great people, the cleaner, Giuseppe and Katherina were super stars.

The room wasn't the best as too close to the path or entrance. It is also dark.

I would recommend Hotel Ape Regina to ANYONE. This was one of the only places my fiancé and I stayed where the pictures perfectly portrayed the landscape. It is a beyond gorgeous facility and the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. From calling us a taxi when we couldn’t find the place, bringing us free bruschetta outside of normal kitchen hours because we said we hadn’t eaten lunch, and upgrading our room to an ocean view simply because the room wasn’t in use, Giuseppe and his staff made our stay in Ischia magical. I cannot say anything more about their incredible hospitality and beautiful hotel.

The Hotel owners and staff are extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful, they made our stay in Ischia really enjoyable. The facilities are great, the view is amazing and the breakfast croissants are delicious! Highly recommend.

This property is a gem! Beautiful and quiet! The sunsets were amazing, the swimming pool was so nice and relaxing. Breakfast was great! The host was super helpful and accommodating. Everything was perfect.

The only thing I would say here is the location. If you don’t have a car or motorcycle, it can be a bit challenging. But buses are available almost outside the door.
