    Pros +

    • The pictures online does not do this place justice! Completely amazed when we arrived not only the views, but how large the resort is. if you’re a couple that like some privacy, there are multiple floors that the resort ownes for you to have not only private time but private time by the pool and other stunning views as there are many pools and various places on the property! I Absolutely would recommend I want to look to come back myself.
    • Pool views were beautiful, as was the view from our room. The room, while very tired, was spacious and appropriate for our family.
    • The hotel has the most amazing outdoor space spread over several terraces sloping down on the stunning Cala Fornells. There are 5 outdoor pools so guests can have a lot of privacy and the vegetation is luscious.

    Cons -

    • The only issues we had was in regards to getting picked up and dropped off by Taxis. The property sits on the top of the hill of a long drive, and some drivers were reluctant to go up, which made some things difficult.
    • The five star rating is not reflective of the quality of this hotel. It should be a four star and the interiors and amenities are extremely dated.
    • This is a hotel in dire need for a big indoor refurbishment!!! Everything looks either old or of dubious taste. It feels like it needs a more forward thinking management and also less focus on solely German guests. This is reflected by staff that address everybody in German and don’t seem confident speaking in English.Breakfast consists in a very old fashioned display of very average quality foods (packaged yogurts and cakes, no nuts/seeds/sliced fresh fruits, no artisanal breads). Definitely not a 5-star breakfast!Furniture is heavy, and were there have been refurbishments they have been done with some nice materials (marble) but no taste. But the worst think is the heavy use of air freshener machines - the horrible smell hits you in the lobby. We were then assigned a mouldy room which we were luckily able to exchange for a better one. I wonder why it was given to us in the first place as staff seemed to be aware the issue. Repairs urgently needed to prevent health hazards!Pity. A beautiful location, great outdoors but not professionally run hotel.

Location, quality of food, very friendly receptionists

    The hotel needs renovation.

The staff were all friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was a good size and clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and an excellent choice was available at both breakfast and the evening in the a la carte restaurant. The location provided excellent views.

The parking was quite limited but we did always find a space. It was a bit further from Paguera than we thought and could cause a problem for people with limited mobility.

The location, the style of the hotel, the decor, art works.Classic, boutique European 50’s style. Views were spectacular. Restaurant service and food - delicious Especially Sea Bass, oxtail canneloni with truffle sauce. Staff very attentive Room was divine, huge with great balcony. We will return.

It was like staying in a private Villa , beautiful views , food, staff , comfort, character . It had it all .we couldn't fault it !

    We liked everything !

We stayed at this amazing hotel, and we can’t stop talking about it. We were lucky enough to snag the Tower room, which is the highest one in the hotel, and it really made our trip feel extra special. The views from up there were absolutely stunning. Every morning and evening, we had perfect views of the sea, with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets that made everything even more magical. The room itself was spacious and cozy. The whole hotel was fantastic. The pools and terraces were perfect for relaxing. If you’re planning a trip to Mallorca, I’d highly recommend trying to get the Tower room. It made our trip unforgettable, and we’re already dreaming about going back :)

Staff went above and beyond. Were considerate and incredibly helpful. Wonderful food, generous pours and exceptional service.

    Location

No room serviceNo food service by the poolDrinks were served in plastic glasses No massages, you had to book them with 24 hours of notice because they had to hire external service.Room phone had no indication of what numbers to call for example if you wanted to call reception you didnt know

    Location and view.

Breakfast staff not great. Young man was rude unprofessional. One young lady on reception also had an attitude. The gentleman at reception were nice.

Situated in a quiet area, amazing tiny beach close by. Pool area is nice. Overall views are very nice, sea view from the room, from the pools, almost everywhere. Nice gardens on the property as well! Sparking wine available for breakfast - this was a nice touch! The balcony had sun loungers, very cosy.

Very old, very outdated property. Maintained poorly, the small repair work very visible everywhere. First room we got on 1st floor (106) had water infiltrated in the walls on the hallway. We then switched to a better room 3rd floor (303). Very old aircon installation. The water would sit in the installation over night and in the morning it smelled badly. Many many stairs and intricate pathways. Breakfast was not a 5 star hotel selection. You could tell they were frugal/ trying to cut costs. We requested pancakes for example and received a half of 1 big crepe each. I do not support throwing food away, but for 5 stars… not ok. Breakfast is also only available until 10:00, so from 9:00 to 10:00 is fully jam packed and existing staff can barely keep up.

    OK

Its listed as a 5 star, but the facility is too dated for 5 star. Nice rooms and great location, but the place needs an update. Weed growing in the pool area, very old dangerous fitness equipment not to standard.

    7NiinaPosted on: 7-22-2024

Staff were nice and food was good. Room was nice and big. Good wine.

Outdated, need refurbishing and very confusing with levels and different rooms/ restaurants/ bars. Too expensive for what it is.

    8SophiePosted on: 7-19-2024

A very characteristic hotel. Beautiful views and out of the main town centre. Great places to eat and shops in the main town but it is a taxi ride away.

    Lots and lots of steps.

    9ArnePosted on: 7-15-2024

    Perfect location. Wonderful breakfast.

    Half board dinner was boring.

    8IrynaPosted on: 7-9-2024

Very beautiful sea view from the balcony and the hotel territory(restaurants included). Was pretty quiet and the nature around is great to explore. The sea itself is clean and you can go snorkelling pretty much everywhere.

It’s not a 5 star hotel at all. It’s too expensive for what you are getting. Also if you don’t have a car it’s going to be difficult with hills I would give it maybe 4 but only if the hotel will make a huge modernisation. Rooms are not in a bad shape but old fashioned and the hotel itself (pools for example) needs renovation. The breakfast is also not that great but of course you are not going to be hungry .

    7DavidPosted on: 7-9-2024

the hotel is situated next to a beutiful littel cove and has plenty of terraces with nice views. The rooms nealrly all have fabulous views of the sea and surrounding coastline. Great roof top restuarant

lots of steps, some areas of the hotel are a bit tired and need some maintenance, small bathrooms

    8RebeccaPosted on: 6-18-2024

We loved the location of the hotel (at the edge of Cala Fornells, right in front of the of a beautiful cove, and not far from several others). The Gardens were absolutely breathtakingThe food was pretty good and well priced (in fact, we ended up eating at the hotel much more often than anticipated as the food and location combination was great).

The interior of the hotel is a bit outdated, and while the stone floors and sea views remain beautiful, the forniture could use some updating (especially mattress and pillows in the Junior Suites). The service was a bit hit and miss: some of the personnel were very good and “caring”, while others didn’t really make us feel like we were in a luxury/5 star hotel.
