Aptera Beach

The staff were very friendly and having a restaurant on site with ones next door was very convenient. While simple the room met our needs and the bed was comfortable.

The beach is amazing!! The food in the restaurant is spectacular! The staff are outstanding! I would go back again. Cristos the manager was so kind and helpful and his Mom's specialty okra dish on our last night was the icing on the cake!!

Well, the bathroom could use renovation, but, it was fine. The toilet in our room was in such a tight spot that it became a joke about how you can only back into it and that's about it. Again, it was functional.

Amazing location few meters from the water, very friendly staff very good value for money I strongly recommend it.?☺️

Just a kettle would be nice

Fabulous location right on the beach. The room was spacious with a balcony that had a view of the water. Staff were friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. Easy bus access was great since we didn't rent a car. Loved the breakfast buffet every day. Great value overall.

It's worth considering location based on your itinerary. It's about a 45 minute bus ride to the city center. We wanted a balance between beach days and time in the city, so it worked great for us, but it may be a bit far if you're wanting to spend most of your time downtown.

Loved the beach front and use of the private beach, beds and umbrellas

The hair dryer wasnt working and we told the concierge the first day and only until the last day were we given a replacement. The blankets had a smell and there was a large leak we woke up to on our last day. Beach towels were not provided and we had to beg for extra bath towels to mop up the leak as bath towels are only renewed every 2 days

Property is right on the beach. 15 minutes drive from airport. Property manager Cristo was very helpful. All the staff were great. Great food at the restaurant.

I looked though all the coast to find something we would enjoy and besides the beach access the free parking was a big + because we traveled by car/ferry and needed permanently a place to park, and also a big plus were the other reviews about mr Christos, the owner, saying how nice, helpful and very kind person he was, and they were right. that was what made me decide to book Aptera Beach. our room was spacious. we traveled with 2 small kids. had breakfast at the hotel (it is varied, you have many options to choose from and anyone can fill their belly with good food in the morning). everything was clean, air condition functional, staff extremely calm, smiling, helpful, especially the blonde girl who was on the beach all day serving and the boys in the bar, the ladies in the kitchen. we were very happy at the end. Mr Christos is always around so you can ask any time about any recommendation. the area is very nice, you have shops near, small minimarket, a medical centre 24h open, pharmacy, a little further there is LIDL..

We had a nice suit with a spacious roof-top terrace and sea view. Cosy beds, Nespresso in the room, a chilled bottle if wine and water! We loved it! The concept of the hotel is perfect - you have a nice room right on the beach, including sunbeds and umbrellas, and a restaurant nearby. It is very convenient, taking into consideration that it is very hot at summertime there, and in this resort you do not have to cover long distances in heat to get your lunch or find a place on the beach! You find everything you need right there!Aptera restaurant is also perfect! We tried several other restaurant nearby, Aptera is really the best! Always fresh food, fresh fish, perfect octopus and Greek coffee! Also fruit, small dessert and raki on the house. The guys there remember what you prefer and how many spoons of sugar in your coffee you need. Such a great personal approach!Breakfasts are also nice. Great selection of fresh cheese, sausages, eggs, Greek yogurt, home made cakes, fruit and nuts, which are often from the owner’s garden. We would like to thank Christos for the great service and his hospitality! He is always ready to welcome his guests, even though we arrived late at night or when we need any help like ordering taxi. He is always there keeping an eye on his staff and the hotel, and providing high quality service!

We loved everything and had amazing days there!

The room was really comfortable and it had everything I needed, including air conditioner, fridge and a coffee machine. Great shower! The hotel has its own restaurant, with really good Greek food, but you can also get a coffee and have some relaxed time looking at the sea. The view from the balcony was to die for. The beach was great and I liked how, unlike other hotels with beach bars/ restaurants in the area down the road, it was quiet and there was no music - instead you could enjoy the sounds of the sea. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful and accommodating - thank you Christos, Niko and Panagioti! I will definitely book again this year. I managed to switch off work immediately, and that is really priceless.

We enjoyed staying at Aptera Beach. We reached the hotel easily by bus, as the bus station is just a few minutes away. Check in and check out we’re nice and easy. We had an evening flight back to our home country, so they allowed us to leave our baggage there while we explored the city some more. Our room had a lovely seaside view. It was spacious and clean. The restaurant is also amazing. We loved the food there. Both the hotel and restaurant staff are kind and helpful.

It was spotless, comfortable, warm and friendly. Lovely covered outside restaurant area and sun beds beyond down to the sea ?

Christos was such a welcoming host, especially after waking him up at 4am as we had arrived in the early hours off the ferry. He was able to put us straight in a room and swap around other rooms without a hassle. Location is great short walk to local restaurants and mini marts. However, we would recommend hiring a car as the each main town was a short drive or long drive depending where you want to go.

Christos is perfect host, service was great.Location is perfect, near city yet isolated and peaceful. Service inside living quarters was great as it was on the beach. 10/10 recommendation

Location is the best,near the beach, chairs are free for residents, good food and not expensive.

Times for the kitchen opening in the morning was not suitable for us.
