    Pros +

    • The staff, location, breakfast, seaside peacefulness were wonderful. Convenient to walk around and into the marina and old town. Superb location.
    • Entire staff was engaged and focused on the guest experience. The location is on the sea, also able to have an amazing breakfast with sea view. Complementary parking was nice and certainly not the norm in Europe.
    • The location, the view from the balcony, staff was really nice. Breakfast is amazing!

    Cons -

    • Struggling to think of something we didnt like.
    • Not really a property issue, but a lot of Europeans still are heavy smokers.
    • The room was in the third floor, so my grandma had a bit of trouble walking up and down the stairs, since there is no elevator.would be nice if there was water boiler in the room to make coffee/tea.There were no free parking spots at the hotel, the one that were, you have to pay additional 12eur per day.. they tell you about other possible spots to park a car, but nobody tells you there is a free parking neat plodine. Had a lot of trouble because of parking…

The staff was great, very accommodating and tried to make our stay as nice as possible. The hotel is right on the beach and the views over breakfast are really something to look forward to.

This isn't a four star hotel, but rather a fancier B&B. The reception is a small desk right at the entrance with a small bar behind it, there are very few parking spaces right next to the hotel, the rooms are okay, but nothing special. Breakfast is fine, but there isn't much to choose from.

The location is nice, in the middle of everything, nice and clean rooms, family feeling, colourful breakfast. Green house in front of the beach is really cosy.

Location on beach front, clean rooms, modern decor

This is a bed and breakfast masquerading as a 4 star boutique hotel. Staff were pleasant enough but untrained, not proactive and seemed to prefer hanging together in the air-conditioned bar area than clearing breakfast tables or servicing the beach area, although they did respond when specifically asked. The restaurant is no longer operating, the bar is very limited, and there is no laundry service. The ultra-modern decor is spoiled by poor maintenance: our key-card door had to be locked manually, as did the in-room safe because the keypad was broken. The air-con unit was efficient but very noisy and needs routine maintenance. The breakfast was limited and unimaginative; hot dishes were invariably cold and on 2 days there was no fresh fruit apart from a couple of rock-hard pears. There was no sign of a manager’s presence front of house at any point during our stay. In all it was a perfectly acceptable bed and breakfast but not worth the price in its current state of operation.

It’s a perfect location to easily walk into Novigrad. It’s on the seafront and it’s easy to go swimming. there is a public footpath between the hotel and the beach.

It’s too expensive for what it is. We stayed in a deluxe room with a sea view and balcony. The balcony does have a sea view but it doesn’t get the sun. Breakfast was really disappointing, it was a buffet with no menu and nothing cooked to order. The fruit wasn’t ripe. You can eat breakfast outside the hotels front entrance but you’re right next to a public footpath. It doesn’t feel like an exclusive luxury hotel (which it should do for the prices it charges). Nothing is included, there are 10 or so sun beds available but they will charge you additionally. They also rent them out to non hotel guests. The beach is a public beach. Parking is convenient but costs extra. There is no complimentary water in the room.

Everything was on high level. We booked cheaper room. Because there was higher price room still available we got free upgrade ?

Positive: Basically the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is very nice directly on the sea and very good proximity to the beautiful old town within walking distance. The hotel has good breakfast but a little too small and less choice than usual. The quality of food and drinks is very good . The suite is large and modern but very uncharitable and bare. Clarification: We had already booked in many hotels the more expensive suites , you always got additional small services (eg fresh towels in the evening , it was asked in the late afternoon if what is needed , small sweets in the evening , fruit or water every day , flowers in the room , sometimes daily newspapers , reserved table at breakfast etc. etc all that ..!!!....costless service because you pay the suite ...) ,... none of this is here ,..it seems as if a suite was built and that's it ,..

Negative: we had paid suite upgrade this unfortunately does not correspond to a good price performance ratio despite discount. The suite is large incl. terrace and jacuzzi but has many small / larger defects or traces of consumption. For example, the terrace floor is broken several times and is dangerous (was only a carpet laid over it??) Whirlpool (water was never measured during our stay chlorine / pH value balance etc.) ... The so-called shower in the suite is part of the bath and simply a complete misconstruction, large or corpulent people can really have problems here. Connections are tlw. broken off and would have to be replaced. The seals are functional as the shower consists of foldable parts on the bathtub thus water runs onto the floor. ( I would recommend the hotel manager to shower in the suite and please 5 times a week) .

The location was great. Right on the water and very peaceful. But easy to walk through the town. Rpom was good aize and had a balcony to enjoy. Breakfast included.

The bed was comfortable but i had issues with the pillows. To big and hard for my taste. Also the ac was no going on in room, instaed i just opened the doors to cool the room down.

proximity to everything but farenough away from the crowds

water draining in the walls all night

    9StefanPosted on: 8-18-2022

breakfast with a sea view, friendly staff, clean rooms, the external rooms are in 5min walking distance

parking could be a mess, ask in advance for reservation; no milk or butter alternatives available at breakfast for vegans

    3DitaPosted on: 8-10-2022

    Good breakfests.

I dont recommend this hotel. We ordered a room with a balcony in a hotel by the beach and we ended in a house in the center of the city, without a balcony and without a drier for our swimsuits.

The team of Rivalmare Boutique Hotel is remarkably friendly, customer service is outstanding and the location plus breakfast are fantastic Thank you

    8SlavkoPosted on: 7-3-2022

It was nice, small, comfortable and somehow quiet

The other building was like a bit far from the actual hotel

    1NielsPosted on: 6-26-2022

The cleaning lady was nice and tina at breakfast.

Do not go there! No 4 star hotel as they state, maybe just 2 star. No friendly staff, breakfast is minimal. Rooms are very noicy, you can hear everything what happens in toilet/badroom next door. Breakfast buffet is grilled vegetables with dry croissants. They state they help with parking or have parking. Which means park on public street at 30 to 20 euro a day depending on how far from the hotel /centre you park.

The location was excellent. Right next to the beach and a very short walk to the center of town. The room was clean. The WiFi was good. The staff were polite and ready to help.

There were insufficient car parking spaces at the hotel. The hotel offered car parking which required walking for about 15 minutes. The mattress was very good but the pillows were not so good. One pillow was not high enough, two pillows were too high. The pillows compressed too much. The breakfast was fine but every morning we had to ask for breakfast bowls for cereal.
