- The Kimera Lounge is a beautiful property, spread throughout gorgeous gardens covered with pomegranate, orange and lime trees and close to the beautiful Cirali beach. The property is well located with numerous small garden restaurants serving tasty authentic Turkish cuisine all within walking distance. Cirali its self feels like Bali. Very laid back and beautiful. The rooms are extremely comfortable. We stayed in a one bedroom lodge for 10 days and provided plenty of room for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children)The pool area is fantastic, the pool is huge and the loungers are so comfortable making it an ideal spot to spend the day relaxing. The breakfast was a real highlight, it was plentiful with a traditional Turkish breakfast coupled with a la carte options. Finally, the staff…they are a credit to the hotel. They are kind, considerate and attentive. I wanted to call out two staff members in particular; Veysel for his superb service at breakfast and lunch, he always had a smile on his face and was always trying to help and cater for our children. Secondly, Furkan from concierge who always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable.
- Assistant worked well; free breakfast; great staff; gorgeous location
Cons -
- too much cats not allowing to seat outside.
- The El Erizo restaurant is a treat, the dishes are excellent but the lack of options for children makes it difficult for families. Which was a shame.A gym on site would also be a great addition.
- Didn’t realise until last morning that you could request fruit at breakfast as it doesn’t show you that option on the menu. I struggled with the choices offered as it was quite rich and I would’ve enjoyed some plain eggs with toast. I showed the waitress the translation to see if they would do that and I got breaded deep fried poach eggs with chilli jam. The amount of food that is offered is incredible though but I just would’ve preferred a lighter option. My husband really enjoyed all the breakfast options.

Beautiful property and grounds.Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely Greyfurt suite. Pool area great.Plants and flowers beautiful. A lot of care and attention has gone into this property and continues to do so. It is in a great location across the road from the most stunning beach. It lies on the road going to the chimera.

We had a great holiday as a group of friends. This is definitely the best hotel in Cirali. We loved our rooms, and the food in the restaurants was very good, too.
When booking please take notice that the pool is not heated. At the end of September it was ice cold and the greatest issue for the kids who prefer the pool to the sea. Also the spa area is 12+, however we are grateful that the staff allowed us to use the sauna and hammam with our kids after the pool to get warm. The beach is looking a little unkempt, maybe because it is the end of the season. There is no shower and no toilet, you have to go back to the hotel for that, very disappointing. The service at breakfast was not really good. A lot of waiters do not speak neither English nor other languages well, so it was a game of guessing if they got your order right. Sometimes we had to wait for our food for 20-40 minutes. Also no body lotion in the rooms, make sure you bring yours.
Short walk to a beautiful beach with all necessary amenities. The garden between the rooms was gorgeous and give a lot of privacy to the people. Breakfast has a lot of variety and it is delicious.
Too short vacation. Hope could be longer.
The staff went above and beyond to make us both feel welcome and relaxed. We appreciated the golf cart lifts to the beach to assist with my partners disability. We found resort layout to be accessible and wheelchair friendly. We really enjoyed being able to access the swimming pool. The breakfast was amazing- not only did we enjoy a full Turkish breakfast of tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, variety of cheeses, variety of jams and preserves , bread basket, fruit, olives, tea coffee and juice. Also there was an additional breakfast choice of cooked delights all of which set us up for the day.We immediately felt relaxed in such lovely surroundings. Our delegated assistant Cem organised a trip to the local bazaar for crafts and produce. While the resort was about 15 minutes walk or wheelchair push to the village centre we found plenty of interesting places to eat and explore. Although we didn’t eat in the main restaurant our experience of Mr Pepper eatery was positive. All in all we’d love to return!
Nothing!
Absolutely lovely place. Great location. Wonderful gardens
Could have benefitted from a snack and refreshments facility by the pool
The beach which is a short walk away is stunning. Everything in the hotel is well decorated and stylish and feels very laid back. Pool and spa excellent. Rooms lovely. Food good standard. Olympus a must see!
There is no hotel reception - you are given a personal assistant instead who shows you the room and you can message him if you need anything and this didn’t always work well. It is a positive that the area is not built up and touristy but the downside of that is it was hard to get accurate local information. An example of this is that we went to Olympus which was amazing but it was a torturous walk in the heat - hotel said 15 mins but more like 40 mins and it was very hot the day we went. Some advice about this and water to take would have been good.
Kimera was a holiday paradise that far exceeded our expectations. The cabins range from modest single rooms with an en suite and more extensive family-suitable bungalows (pensions). The hotel has incredible facilities on site and is basically on the beach with its own designated lounger area that was never over crowded. The hotel pool and spa facilities were delightful and perfect for a sun drenched holiday in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. The ancient Lycean harbour city of Olympos is a leisurely stroll along the beach front. The mysterious fire breathing hillside 'chimera' is a short drive and 20 minute hike away. The hotel has been finished to a high standard and the restaurant is outstanding. This is an ideal holiday for families looking for a quieter, sun, sea and sand holiday or for couples after a bit of luxury. The staff were highly attentive, helpful and work incredibly hard to provide the guests with a perfect stay.
Kimera was almost exceptional. A few minor points would make it a 10. 1) The hotel is graced with many animals which we loved. However, prepare to be awoken by the resident cockerel at dawn every morning. This was a bit of a nuisance to be honest on a relaxing get away. 2) The air conditioning in our room (one of the more modest on site) was loud and a bit unreliable. 3) We had to buy our own bottle opener for the room although we had requested one twice. 4) The on site bar closes at 10 which is probably due to the family-oriented nature of the site and the long shifts the staff put in. A 20 minute walk into Olympos is the only option if you want to stay up later than 10. But these are all quite minor considering our stay was really wonderful.
It was a lovely experience from start to finish. The complex is very well set up with each restaurant having a different vibe but each with really helpful and friendly staff. The food is excellent and varied in the different restaurants. Breakfast is amazing and with a lovely range of dishes available. The rooms are clean and well equipped with excellent staff cleaning and changing linen each day. Each area of the complex is well maintained with staff tending to the various jobs quietly and efficiently. The pool is lovely and getting drinks poolside is easy and adds to the pleasurable experience. The beach is a ten minute walk with recliners for the complex guests separate from public areas. Golf cart available to transport people if needed. Drinks also served from 12.30. All of the staff are terrific- helpful, friendly and courteous. Our personal assistant was Furkan who was a total delight. He looked after us efficiently and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was funny, friendly and super helpful. Brilliant service. We will definitely be going again.
It would be a bonus if there was a beach hut to change in or toilet facilities near to the beach. That said it is only a ten minute walk back to the complex. There is nothing about the property to dislike, it is brilliant.
Wonderful food, staff, room, pool, spa.
I loved everything.
The breakfast was great. Lots of variety. Staff very helpful and accommodating. The upstairs restaurant was very good but somewhat expensive. Turguy, our host was fantastic!
We would have appreciated some transport into the local village of Cirali in the evening to visit some of the local restaurants.
Everything was amazing from the very beginning until the very end of our stay at this beautiful hotel. The breakfast is fabulous and the beach is just a few steps away. The staff members are eager to help you with all you need. Special thanks to Cem Sevinc who found my silver chain left behind in a hotel room and sent it back to me by mail. When I travel to Turkey again I won't miss a chance to stay at this place for at least a few days more.

Excellent breakfast served by attentive smiling staff especially our waitress Oriana. Nothing was a problem as the staff were there to help.
I like everything about Kimera lounge. It is very thoughtfully designed and operated. There is not a single detail that the lounge management missed. You are among the olive, lemon, pomegranate, date, orange, lemon trees. Everywhere has a nicely designed botanic nature. Clean and smells beautiful. This is our 2nd stay with my sister. This time they had yoga sessions in the morning with Ms. Deniz Susever, very experienced and talented yoga teacher. She is very well equipped to teach you yoga and beyond. Our data started with sun salutations, and continued with swimming In Mediterranean watching the mountains and forests, and then spa sessions with rich massage therapies, and hamam, and then pool among the flowers. Food is beautiful and thoughtful. They have three restaurants, one serves breakfast which is included (very rich Turkish breakfast), lunch and dinner restaurant by the pool, and live music sessions teras dinner with rich gastronomic tastes. More than anything the people, from greeting to cleaning to cooking to serving, every single person who works here has only one goal which is to make you happy. Furkan who helped us for everything deserves special thanks. He took care of us and made sure that we have a relaxing time. I can not say enough of Kimera. I travel often, and stay in hotels, Airbnbs. Kimera is by far the best lounge I ever stayed.
Turgay the guest manager was phenomenal, the resort is beautifully designed, rooms are clean and comfortable. Food at Mr pepper was decent. The beach is beautiful. Not full service but the guest managers do their best to accommodate everything. They are very helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of options but not self-service. Pool is really nice too. Daily yoga w Deniz hoca was amazing highly recommended! Spa has amazing massages for a small resort. Nice touches in bathrooms like a few well thought out amenities like cotton, enlarging mirror. Beach towels were beautiful and high quality. All in all I would come back here again and again if I knew they could somehow get the rooster situation under control as everything else was near perfect.
Roosters! Absolutely worst part of this place. A rooster could be screaming by your bungalow window 1am, 2am, 3, 4, 5. No rhyme or reason but completely affects sleep quality and restfulness of resort. Also, when resort is full no seats by pool and people reserve which is annoying. No service to downtown or other areas. İt would be nice to have paid service to go downtown Better website and information in rooms is needed. There is literally no info or signs anywhere for anything.
Piece of paradise! The owners and staff created fantastic place! Best hotel and location. The system with personal assistants is the best invention to make our stay smooth and comfortable! I would like to send my personal greetings to Furkan, who is like an Angel, who is always there for you, provides best support, always ready to do extra mile to satisfy any needs of all guests!!! I send my best regards to him full of respect and gratitude for unforgettable memories and fantastic experience!
Although, I am very meticulous person, I cannot find anything that would create any disturbance during our stay.
Great secluded location. Beautiful pool and grounds. Comfy bed. Excellent breakfast (lunch and evening restaurants also great). Shout out to our man Turgay - all staff were great! Perfect base for our 4 night stay in Cirali.
The relaxing vibe, the staff, the unbelievably tasty breakfast with unlimited super good coffee (actually all the coffee choices…so important to me as a coffee addict) and the location! The toiletries were quality products. The pool was super clean, the pool area tropical and amazingly beautiful, way better than in the pictures even. Oh and did I mention the breakfast….
The kumkat rooms were as small as expected from the previous reviews that I had read before going, I did not expect that there would not be enough space to open two suitcases at the same time. the patio was too shaded for off-season.
