Santa Monica Resort - Calangute

The location is central and close to all amenities. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the bed is quite comfortable, and the room is comfortable at a very reasonable price. No problems having a nice hot shower. Aircon worked well and there is a powerful fan too.

As a solo traveller, I didn't have anything to complain about.

Located tucked away from the chaos, it was very quiet but everything was in easy walking distance.

I’m sure this was a great hotel once. Now, it’s very tired and dirty. Lovely swimming pool (clean) and lounging area that hasn’t been cleaned. Our room was clean and freshly painted so maybe they are making improvements

No wifi in rooms, misplaced our towel, have to ask multiple times to get your room cleaned, still glasses aren't clean, toilet seat wasn't anchored properly despite confronting about it.

Some staff were very friendly

It was so dirty. Pillows were dark brown, mould in bathroom and kitchen. Dirtiest place I’ve stayed in north goa and I’ve been their 9 times. The place was filthy

Hi, property physically very bad condition but in image it’s very good Please don’t suggest to anyone and owner is very harmful person. He is not given respect also When we went to Goa we reached at 9:30 PM with family ,on the time room was not in good and cleaned condition and it’s in 2nd floor there is no lift also and once we are confirming with Owner but he was drunked and he was saying you’re not booking directly to us . You can ask to Booking.com and he his very ugly using bad words no respect towards customer no service giving for room It’s a single * hotel pls don’t suggest to anyone who has a good opinion about booking.com Thank you

The resort was good.It's a quite old place but comfortable to stay.We went during rainy season and our room was filled with rain water from balcony... although the staff cleaned everything as we informed.It's walkable to main road where you can find restaurants,tiffin centres and bus stop.

For each aminity they mentioned while booking is not available. Everything we have to ask then only they provide.

The room was not prepared for checkin. We had to call in for every small thing, even the towels were not placed in the room. No classes no water no kettle.. The breakfast was the worst. Toaster was not working, when asked for omelette, which was chargeable. Juice had more water than juice.Sugar was soggy. Couldn't differentiate between coffee and tea, the taste was so pathetic. At the time of booking I asked if I can pay the remaining amount by card, he said yes and when I went to pay they say we only accept cash or gpay, that was a bummer. The lady bouncer on the reception was really rude and scary.

Firstly it is an Old Resort and was good as per location.Near to restaurants,pharmacies,local stores,byke car rentals and bus shelter.The service was a bit slow.Pool was good.we enjoyed with family.After checkout were allowed to keep our luggage in their lockers as we are having much time for the flight.

All the amenities mentioned while booking the resort via booking .com were not available.For each and every thing we have to ask the reception,then only they will provide.As it rained heavily rain water entere our room through balcony.After informing they cleaned immediately.They were good at service

They said it will be buffet Breakfast. But buffet was not arranged instead they gave poha and bread butter Jam. Breakfast was worst..

It’s quite a substandard property. I would say a lodge which was not like well maintained.Old fashioned apartment kind for people or rather hippies who don’t want stay in the room or just come to sleep. Thankfully the AC was working but the room, bed, toilet etc was just like a LIG flat.

Everything, from checkin experience to room. No lift, unconcerned or rather indifferent staff with straight face :-| (exactly like this)I don’t know why I booked.

This is the WORST, USELESS and utterly DISGUSTING resort I have ever stayed in my life. The owner is the most arrogant, mannerless, useless person who thinks that he owns some Tajmahal and argues with the customers and threatens them to vacate the hotel when we raise a simple complaint that there is no hot water. This is complimented with an equally useless, uneducated staff who don't know how to behave and provide service. The owner was shouting at us in a very loud voice and inspite of telling him to lower his voice, continued to threaten us and told that it's his way of speaking. This hotel is a disgrace to the Goa tourism and should be shut down. The rooms are very unhygienic without soap or hand wash and smelled very bad and musty. Heavily overpriced and they insist on paying in cash. Horrible experience and I request everyone to stay away from this so called resort, useless management. There are better resorts like Terra Paraiso right in the next lane and provide excellent service.

The stay was not good beacuse of the behaviour of receptionist and they dont have wifi service in room like if you want to use internet you need to go to their common area and there also internet was not work. They didn't provide the toilet paper and bathroom soap and clean tower. That property was not worth at all even in morning we faced electricity issue for continuous 3hrs electricity was out and no one was responding on phone . I have to run to reception and ask for receptionist to start the inverter. So i didnt recommend this hotel to anyone and also didnt like the property at all.

I didnt like the receptionst behavior he was rude and not helpfull at all. Also this hotel is not worth for money.

Property is not maintained well. lack of cleanliness. No proper response from staff. No hot water. No parking given even though space was available and informed during the booking itself. Breakfast buffet is waste and nothing is good. Totally waste of money.

location good near to main road/ shopping/food. not a beach resort - 1km from calangutae beach. No parking but street parking available. Hot water - we had challenges one day and it was ok on the next day. perhaps because of solar , early mornings you don’t get hot water.

Friendly staff , very cooperative.

Swimming Pool is good.

Rooms are not same like shown in the pictures.Food is not at all good.

Resort was not clean. Highly priced. Complimantaey beers not provided. Food is pathetic. Staff are not interested for anything.
