- The pool was dirty when we arrived (it looked green and filled with detritus - you couldn't see the bottom); we were told it was clean so decided to avoid it at all costs. It turns out they were cleaning it in the morning, and it looked a better colour (blue) but was still a bit cloudy and full of bits of leaves etc. Not ideal.
- I did not like anything about this property. Bedsheets are having stains everywhere . There went ants on my bed whole night . Towels are so old and having so many stain marks on them .Bathroom is not at all clean and they have given bathtub which you will have to think 100 times before taking bath in bathtub. I know this is kind of a vintage and old hotel but they should have managed it so well . There is no staff in the hotel 1 guy for reception who is not at all available and there is 1 small guy must be around late 20 who will take you to your room . I will not recommend anyone to use this hotel . During my 2 days stay in this hotel there counted 10 guests or less then that. Breakfast what should I say about it is a food but not at all worth I dont want to get into details about breakfast. They should take things seriously and change there old bedsheets then towels and everything. Toilets need to be clean properly . There should be staff available which I hardly saw some 3 including reception guy the guy who dropped me to my room and last 1 lady during breakfast.

We got moved to a second room (the first one's fans were not working properly), and this was nice and spacious. The bathroom had a little dressing room attached which was nice - I liked the old style. Staff were friendly enough. The showers were hot and powerful.

We were upgraded to a 2 bed bungalow which was a lovely old place but needed a bit of care and cleaning. But it was very comfortable and the staff very helpful.
Pool looked as if needed a good clean. Difficult to get a rickshaw or taxi nearby.
Fantastic setting, quiet & peaceful. House keeping staff were more helpful with any requests than reception staff.
Service at the bar & restaurant was very slow, almost had to go looking for staff. The room we had was in bad need of renovation, bed was a skinny old mattress on a block of concrete. Restaurant was hit and miss, could not provide what was on the menu. Ran out of coke twice in a week.
The cottages are well looked after and gives you a feel of the Portuguese architecture and lifestyle. The team at Laguna are very helpful. I will certainly recommend this place to anyone who is traveling to North of Goa. It is located at a 10 min walking distance from the Anjuna beach.
The property is quint and comfy with a uniqueneds. The staff were courteous and helpful.

Staff was excellent. The girl in the restaurant was very welcoming and her service was great. Weve stayed in 4 hotels in Anyuna. This was def best value for money. Also on a great location. Silent but between all nice and busy areas. Scooter rental is next door. Food was good too!
Extra beds at the pool would be nice. But is not a biggie.

Mosquitoes...Untidy...Dusty all over the places...Could have worked as a excellent Portuguese style heritage resort but I believe it has worn out and lack of interest to keep the resort clean and tidy.
We loved the room, it was very clean and had comfy beds with mosquito nets. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was very tasty. Would recommend for couples, small groups or singles! Great to relax after a long weekend of partying on the beach and at Hilltop (which are both 10 min drive away)

Both the Laguna Anjuna and the neighbour Hotel Anjuna competed at playing loud music in the garden - different songs at the same time - Noise! disturbing when all you want is. to enjoy the quiet garden

Everything! Cleanliness of our bungalow (Portuguese style), gardens and swimming pool were kept immaculately clean. On site restaurant food was tasty and authentic. People were exceptional: Divya for her attentive breakfast service and her smile; Felix for his laid back approach and wisdom, and for staying up to check us in at 1am in the morning; Rakeem for his ability to persevere with his English conversation and for ensuring we were always looked after in the evening; and finally the owner, for making us feel so welcome and part of his 'home'. A very sincere, and knowledgable man.
