A lot, the room was nowhere same as it is shown on the website. Room is really really small.There was smell in the room

Excellent Location - can walk straight onto the beach.Landscaping of the property also very nice. Breakfast was decent and it helped having a couple of restaurant options on site.

We had a walk on there private lovely beach but our foots were all with sticky oil stains.

The rooms/toilet were good. The rooms with pool view are good. The gym is reasonably well equipped for a hotel this size. The pool is nice but pool timings are not great - opens at 8:00 am, breakfast time.The beach is a minute's walk and has some nice shacks for food and drinks.All staff were super polite and helpful.

The breakfast was below average, especially for westerners. Bacon/sausages have to be ordered at the live station, else not available/visible. The restaurant is also too small for the capacity of the hotel. Gets crowded and you have to wait for a table for brekfastThe pricing for the stay is high, almost at 5 star rates.Goa Miles (local Uber/Ola) cabs can't enter the place so you have to take a cab from the taxi mafia at their exit gate which is almost double the rate.The hotel will say that they have no control over this but it's obvious that they are complicit in this racketby having a cab stand at their exit gateBe extra careful when paying your final bill - their accounting is atrocious! I got hit for someone else's room service and had to ask for a refund of the excess amount charged

Awful

The room lights did not work , a lot of noise from the pool area and we could not have a rest, room very small (photos are not a good reflection of the room size), hotel manager did not help us at all when we had an issue with the reservation.Poor Breakfast , had to wait a long queue , the breakfast lounge is small and gets crowded.Expensive hotel for the services you get .

It is not Value for Money. This property is charging just for the location. In a similar amount, I can find better facilities provided by other properties.

GREAT FAMILY TIME AT MARQUIS

OUR STAY AT MARQUIS WAS VERY NICE. A BANG ON BEACH PROPERTY. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. HOUSEKEEPING AND ROOM SERVICE TOO WAS GOOD ON THURSDAY FRIDAY OF OUR STAY. Pool was nice and kids enjoyed throughly. As it got busy on saturday we could feel the crowd and the demands. Breakfast was a good spread and tasty too. can improve on regular goan dishes. On the whole we will certainly look at coming here again..

Prime location. Everything was clean and neat. Well organised hospitality. All of the staff were brilliant. Aces.

Breakfast can improve. It does not live upto the expectations of the hotel other facilities and seems like 3 star in terms of food taste or quality and choices

It’s centrally located . The staff is very friendly and helpful . The service is super fast . It has beach access and a lovely pool . The food was superb .

Bit of a taxi racket going on outside and GoaMiles (Goa's local Uber that doesn't work) doesn't reach down that road apparently but turns out this is the same Goa-wide

Everything was clean and as shown in photographs. Staff were attentive, and the hotel offered a lot of affordable luxury. I had read low-score reviews online, and saw that these were linked to room size and room atmosphere; to my knowledge I had one of the cheapest rooms in the hotel, and it still had a spacious and luxurious feel to it. It may be small for Goa, I don't know, but compared to the UK, it was larger, and with a veranda/balcony area!

Some guests listened to music/videos out loud instead of using headphones, I think the hotel should challenge this to maintain its luxury atmosphere. It was only one or two individuals, and it would by no means deter me from coming back.

Breakfast gets busy and very noisy. Get there early. One recommendation - It would be great to add felt underneath the legs of chairs as it’s very loud when patrons move chairs to get up, etc.! Can’t imagine how loud it would be for the guests staying directly below !

We experienced some inconvenience with the hotel's checkout policy, which was quite inflexible. As a result, we had to vacate the premises earlier than desired, spend some time at a nearby restaurant, and then head to the airport.Additionally, we found the hotel's taxi services to be overpriced.
