Villa Selene

We had a truly perfect holiday at Villa Selene. From the moment you arrive the views are stunning and you are greeted with kind service. The hotel itself is beautiful. We loved sitting on the terrace and enjoying a cappuccino or a glass of wine. The breakfast each day was unique and delicious. There was a lovely tea bar and plenty of food options, even for those with allergies. While it may not be on the lake shore, there is a stunning view of the lake. You can drive down to Limone Sul Garda and either enjoy the beach or take the ferry from there. The service is incredible!!! I would stay here every year if I didn’t live across the ocean.

The shorter road from the lake to the villa is closed, therefore you have to take the longer one which is 30 mins longer

Everything about this place is nice for a couple of days stay. Very attentive and friendly staff, very quiet surrounding with amazing views.

Very nice location, welcoming hosts, comfortable room, excellent value for money. The breakfast varieties and terrace with lake views was unexpectedly good. We enjoyed our unfortunately short stay.

Beautiful little hotel with great hosts. The hotel is situated on the top of the mountains, away from busy areas. Road to the hotel was magnificent. Breakfast at the terrace was very nice!

Quality choices, preparation and service carried out to perfection.If you are looking for a quiet and exclusive place, Villa Selene in Pregasio, is the place to stay.Anita and Filippo are great hosts, able to furnish local information about the top things to do in the vicinity(as well as the Lake Garda Guest Card, providing discounts to visitors).Breathtaking vistas from the terrace and bedroom. A spotless and well-maintained hotel with adjoining gardens, overlooking Lake Garda. Lounge chairs with cushions and towels also provided to relax on a spacious lawn,needless to say, for free.Villa Selene is within walking distance to restaurants, mini-markets and another charming town called Pieve.It's also worth noting that it is indeed possible to visit more popular and distant towns like Limone, Malcesine and Monte Baldo using public transport (such as; buses, ferryboats and cable cars). The nearest bus stop is about 300m away from Villa Selene, to get you started! Pregasio, a most ancient town, is within walking distance to Campione (1km down hill) which leads to 'La Strada della Forra' if you should wish to walk further! So, bring comfortable walking shoes or your bike! These are just a few of the things you can do in the area.Could have stayed longer to explore the area more. Will do next time round!

Location is phenomenal, with incredible views over Lago di Garda and the valley. Family run and everyone is so friendly and offered great advice on places to eat and walks to do in the surrounding area. The hotel is so peaceful and calm, a great change from the touristy busy towns on the edge of the lake, but you can walk down to the lake from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is home made fresh and delicious.

The view is simply fantastic as well as breakfast. The room is very nice, spacious and comfortable. Everyone was kind and helpful during our stay. We enjoyed it a lot.

I am sorry we had to keep the air-conditioning switched on during the night. It would be much nicer to keep open windows as the place is immersed in nature, so nice and quiet. However, there are many insects during the summer and it was too risky to sleep with open windows.

The view is stunning! We had a great time. Calm atmosphere, clean, the staff is wonderful, takes care of everything. Great breakfast.

Needed a bit more information on facilities upon check in as we only found out about certain things (e.g. events, services) the day before leaving...be sure to ask upfront!

The view from the patio is spectacular for breakfast or a late night drink. Anita and her son,Filippo, go out of their way to to please all their guests. Trust their recommendations for activities or dining as they certainly know the area.

Absolutně everything was to our full satisfaction

The location is simply spectacular. Just beware it's a bit of a super curvy drive away from the lake itself. But once you get it it's totally worth it. There are very good restaurants (you might need to make a reservation as they are super popular) and very good grocery store walking distance away so you don't have to drive once you get there. There is a dinner organized at the Villa once a week and it's a must have experience. Food was GREAT. Same for the breakfast. Fresh produce, local specialties, and great coffee. Also, it's not visible on the pictures but there is beautiful garden with long chairs to chill with a book (we spent lazy 3 days in there, just reading and doing absolutely nothing with the most amazing view ever).

Villa Selene is a piece of heaven!It has The Best view of Garda Lake and the host was amazing. The breakfast was excellent, home made with italian ingredients and you can enjoy it having a 360° view at Garda Lake.Everything was beyond amazing!If we ever reach Italy again, we will surely come back to this wonderful place!Thank you for this unforgetable experience!

Absolutely nothing!

Everything. The location, the hosts, and the breakfast were just perfect.The view - you usually see this view in pictures, but you can experience it for yourself here. Yes, you have to drive up the mountain a bit, but the view and the whole experience are worth it.The hosts - are attentive, friendly, and caring. This is a small family business so you get treated like a family.The breakfast - different hand-made pies every day, a huge selection of superior quality teas, great coffee, and a selection of various foods, including variations of eggs. The selection is wide and everything is fresh. Honestly, you wouldn't find this kind of quality in some 5-star hotels.Highly recommend!

Too far from the lake. We expected to be closer but the Villa is very far up the mountain and it takes about 30 mins by car to reach the lake

I really enjoyed our stay in villa selene, it’s a wonderful location, amazing view to enjoy from the terrace, quiet rooms, they are also freshly renovated and look even better than pictures. It’s also worth to mention that it’s a family run hotel and the family is absolutely lovely, very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Can only recommend!

The most amazing getaway place you Can imagine - peace and quiet with an atmosphere of authentic Italian passion for what you are doing. Breakfast was nothing but Perfect with small daily surprises. The hostesaft prepared homemade smoothies, and pushed them to the guests with passion.We Can only reccomend this place with all our hearts, Will most certainly be back !!!!
