Hotel Els Pins

The breakfast was good. But the rooms are modest at best.

The toilet in my room started leaking from all around the base. It was a lot of tainted water all over the bathroom - really gross. Delayed maintenance is a bad thing.

Breakfast and location

Thin walls that you hear next room, smells very musty, only one outlet, lack of amenities. No kettle, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron. Small for 3 people.

Excellent location, facility and amenities. Breakfast was very nice with a variety of options.

Bathrooms were a little cramped and dated.

It is very well located and clean

however the rooms are not isolated at all! I couldnt fall asleep listening to the conversations from the other guests. Additionally, the mattresses were completely uncomfortable, after two days sleeping there I got a backpain. I do not recommend this hotel, the price is equivalent to a 4 stars hotel but its not a pleasant experience

The hotel and common areas are very nice, spacious and a well decorated.The location is perfect, beachfront and 1 minute walking from the main street.Room very clean

The room was old, needs a bit of refurbishment not in harmony with the hotel hall and restaurant that is new.A bit of loud music coming from the pool area during siesta time

Nothing Rooms were a little small as were bathrooms but larger ones are available at a premium.

The cleaning ladies moved all the furniture in the room upstairs dragging all the furniture and woke us up very early in the morning. This was very very unpleasant.

The staff are amazing, hotel itself is gorgeous and cozy, bar open until midnight, pool, 1min walk from the sea, very nice breakfast buffet and snacks in afternoon, brilliant location,

The beds are a bit small - for anyone over 1m75, the bed is short and not very large.

The location is perfect, right by the beach. Just around the corner, there are three great cafes lined up next to each other. You can enjoy delicious meals with a beach view without having to head to the noisy main street.

While the hotel has a nice breakfast terrace and a convenient lobby, the rooms really need an update. The soundproofing issues have been mentioned before. Our balcony faced the bathroom window of the neighboring room, so we could hear exactly when our neighbors returned from dinner and used the bathroom. This is information that might be useful for spies, but not for us.

It was in front of the beach

The staff is a bit rude and there were two times where our room wasn’t made.

It was the first time for us to stay in El Pins hotel. It may seem a bit old, but it's still being taken a great care by the stuff. Everything worked fine: AC, cold/hot water, electricity, TV and the Internet.Stuff are great! Helped with check-in, explained alternative parking place (their own parking was booked).Breakfasts are also perfect! Everything was tasty and fresh! (Breakfasts were additional cost for us).Location is ideal - one block away from the beach, few blocks from the Main Street and all shops, restaurants.

Location of our two rooms were in a dark corner of the building, we almost never saw a blue sky. But it's ok - someone has to stay in such rooms. :)

Not refurbished rooms, we paid a lot and did get the old rooms, make sure you get the renovated room as the pictures showVery hard beds, and quite noisy street

Location was perfect , beach was accessible under 30secs and main high street with all restaurants etc was 1 min away.Extremely satisfied with the location. The staff was amazing specially Angela (angie) who looked after us very well with all our needs. may not be 5star hotel but the staff and location are definitely beyond 5star.will defo stay here again.

The location was excellent, just 5 minutes walk to all the wonderful shops, restaurants and the beautiful beach. The staff were very helpful and helped me book a snorkelling and kayaking trip and also a taxi for the airport. The rooms are very clean and airy with good airconditioning.

Good comfortable hotel. Super location at Playa d'Aro. A great friendly staff. Everything clear. A tasty breakfast. A convenient private parking for reasonable price.

Lovely Mediterranean design. Excellent location one block from the beach and surrounded by restaurants and shops.

Parking was full both nights so we had to pay extra and walk 10 mins to lot.
