The food was un-edible and made us sick.

The location is great just by the shore. And 10min walking from downtown

They have a big problem with the cleaning of the cutlery cups and plates of kitchen during the breakfast.

My family liked the buffet for breakfast and dinner. The kids loved the pool.

The staff that checked us in was slow, there was a line in front of me, but only one person at the front desk. There should have been more, specially at check-in time

You should wait too much to have water or whatever to drink during dinner. The buffet is low quality and there were very strange customs. For example there were no salt or anything else on many dishes while there was olive oil over cheese slices! Why so? Put it on the vegetable instead! Every night you pay for the beverage. At least tap water could have been included.

Location is close to beaches almost beachfront. There is a parking for the cars with a loot of shades. Supermarket in front and close to restaurants from beachfront. Breakfast is good. And they have lunch and dinner for a good price (although I didn’t try it) The surrounding location is peaceful (besides de bar in front of the hotel) Room very clean and great staff

In front of the hotel there is a bar that in some days are quite noisy. The hotel is not so close to downtown, but still in a fair walking distance that can be done by the beach or by the neighborhood both very pleasant walks. I particularly find the pillows a bit to low, i would take my own next time.

The room was a good size and the bathroom was a good size. Nice shower and all very clean. Good facilities lift and stairs. Food wasn’t too bad, could have had more of a selection. Overall it was very clean and room was sizeable

The location wasn’t very nice, you have views of other apartments and the places didn’t look that nice… I wasn’t sure if it was very safe. Small restaurant not very big, swimming pool was clean but also not very big, with trees blocking the sun. For the price we paid over £650 for 2 nights it wasn’t worth it. More like half that.

Safety deposit box had to be paid extra (even if the confirmation mentioned it was included)

The pool was great because it had different activities for the kids.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room. Shower was amazing!

We had bed and breakfast only. Although the food was varied, very tasty and plentiful, the hot food was barely warm. It would have been a bonus if there was a kettle in the room

Low cleaning quality, noisy air conditioner, long check in process with problems with payment checking and unavailabily to have 2 rooms from one booking at least on the same floor

Having to pay in Euros .

The hotel is in a good location near the beach. My room had a sea view. The hotel is really good value for money. Its clean and has everything you need for a short stay

The rooms were nice with large balconies. A great place to sit for afternoon and evening sun. The rooms were not large, but did not feel crowded.The breakfast was quite good with a variety of cold and hot options. Whie not directly on the beach, we were very close and the board walk (wide concrete pathway) was very nice to stroll along.

There were some minor things in the rooms that needed repair. Specifically door latches for the balcony doors. We had 3 rooms and none of the latches worked. General maintenance seemed to be a little behind.

The staff were very friendly.

We had a mobility scooter, and they charged us €10 a night to charge the battery even though it only needed charging twice, we had to pay for the full week and when we went to our "parking space" it was an extension lead and on one of the days, it rained and it wasn't covered. I asked for an iron on another day, or if there was an ironing room, I had to pay €20 to hire the iron, which was returned when I took it back. This has never happened in any hotel in the past. Very, very poor entertainment rep. We also asked if one of our rooms could be pool view when we booked, happy to pay extra obviously, because my father has parkinsons disease and would spend a significant time in his room but we had a view of the car park, not at all pleasant. I asked to move but nothing could be done.

The breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from! The room size was great, it was just my kid and it was very roomy! The bathroom was very clean and over all we were happy with our stay there! We couldn't use the pool because the hotel was closing for the winter but it was a nice size

Two members of staff particular stood out. They were very kind, welcoming and sociable. Their names were Paula and Neiva. They were so good with our children and helped us a lot as many staff didn’t speak any English. They made our stay at Medplaya very enjoyable.

The queue for breakfast in the morning was frustrating. The tables were not cleaned and allocated quick enough, which meant families were waiting for a long time to sit down.

Room is great

The parking is an extra and expensive. It is subject to availability. The breakfast is really industrial and absolutely not homemade. Less choice but better is needed.
